All Cuban-seed tobaccos, you'll notice enjoyable toasty flavors of cedar and earth mixed with a hint of pepper and a ton of sweet nuances on the finish. Incredibly rich, this blend perfectly complements your favorite Pilsner and is enjoyable any time of day."
Setup: Dripping on standard 510 atomizer with 18350 mod
Thoughts:
I've stated earlier in other My Vape juice (MJV) reviews that I firmly believe they have the best cigar extractions on the market. Either clear or light colored they leave almost no residue on the atomizer while still retaining a great flavor. I was very excited to see they were starting to extract from more brand name cigars, although the 5 Vegas line is still spectacular.
Bahia Maduro is a clear liquid with almost no smell. The mild Habano tobacco flavor takes the stage more than the fuller Nicaraguan tobacco during the inhale. They combine for a medium-depth earthy tobacco flavor that is slightly sweet. On exhale the hint spiciness and pepper arrives with a strong toasty flavor associated with maduro cigars. Bahia is medium-bodied with the subtle nuances rather than any pronounced flavors with the exception of the strong toasty maduro wrapper.
Final Thoughts:
When I saw the new extractions I was hoping Bahia would be exceptional. I am not the biggest Habano tobacco lover and am disappointed that the Nicaraguan tobaccos are almost lost in the mix. While I do love the toasty maduro wrapper I think Bahia is overly dominated by that flavor. For those looking for a toasty mild tobacco Bahia may be for you. Unfortunately it was not for me. 7/10
