My vapefest boo boo

As some of you know I took a bad tumble at vapefest. I ended up with 8 stiches near my eye and up to my temple. At the hospital I found out my blood sugar was up to 500..that's not a good thing. When I walked into the meeting room, it felt too hot too crowded and so I decided to go out into what I thought was a patio room. I saw the step but that's where it went blank. I remember a few snap shot moments..most notably my wonderful friend Cindy. Then when I got to the emerency room.

I have a shiner worthy of a prizefighter..but what's worse is the injury to my pride..lol.
Thanks to all of you who have P.M.ed me. I will be fine, but I will have to switch how I wear my bangs!
vape fest was great ..while I was there. I met Tazcat, Violetvoo and many others earlier in the day and Trulove..so nice!

Goodness MK, sounds like something I would do just to make the party more interesting. I'm really glad you're okay, and have to agree with Safira. We know you have your hands full, but it's sounds like a little MK time is in order, even if it's only to harangue a doctor or two.

I have an appointment with my Dr. On Friday..that's if I don't feel any worse before then. She will be removing my stiches.
My meds were all snafued, but at least I have some of them now and the rest tomorrow. If things had gone right I would have been medicated properly on Sat.
The thing is life is messy, you have to try to tidy up and keep on moving. I felt really stupid and embarrassed..but it's not the first time and unfortunatly won't be the last!

Head bonk (as my boys used to call it) therapy for nic addiction? If you don't mind, I think I'll stick to vaping.

If you didn't have stitches in your head, I might be tempted to give you a light slap to the head for saying you felt stupid and embarrassed. Stuff happens.

Nadine (Mrs. Pete54) ran to the front desk to get 911called and to get hotel security. What we didn't know was that some woman had passed out in the restaurant's bathroom and the first paramedics to arrive were technically there for her but we "hijacked" them for MK.
