Nano Coil Wicking

Hey guys, I have been using e-cig's since 2008 and rebuilding since 2010. I find "nano" coils to be my preference and I have spent a lot of time getting them the way I like. Currently I am stuffing cotton under the coils and pressing them down into it. It makes very good vapor and flavor this way. I have tried all the ways I can think up on my own to improve my wicking so I'm here to ask you. The build I currently run is 24g 9-10 wraps around a 18g needle. Are any of you running nano's and are you wicking them differently?

i wick that way when i use nano's, old pics but you can see the nano squeezed into the cotton as you described
the dark part in the cotton is just the coil you can see through it:)

below is a nano wicked through the coil only, very short hits but not to bad if you use it on a bottom fed devise, if i was to do it this way again i would probably add a couple more wraps.
if you bare with it the cotton will break in and allow for longer hits, not sure on rayon, havent tried that on nano's but i have on stovetops and it gave great clouds.
another thing i was doing was to fire up the coil and let go before it got to hot then pulse it again, allows for longer hits without burning the wick, it gives the wick a chance to suck up some more juice.
i went a whole day with the internal wick, was expecting the cotton to be slightly burnt but no :D So long as you adjust to it. Taste is verygood

You can try "dragon" wicking around those coils. works pretty efficiently when done right with nanos. That is my typical setup in my stillare

Yeah this is something I have tried in the past and I do randomly wick this way still to this day. It works well but it rather finicky. Yesterday I ran my wicks over the center post for a "waterfall" type effect, cotton stuffed under the coils with the ends going over the center post nd to under the second coil. this seems to be easier now as dripping straight through the top cap lands on the "Waterfalls"
