First I need to say Thanks to everyone who participated in our 3rd contest, and congrats to Whodat2112 for winning the Vari Volt (lavatube).
The last contest was based around "comedy", but this one is going to be based around my 1st love... MUSIC. I was a professional musician for many years, and in that time had collected many records. (You know, those big black vinyl things that you need a needle and turntable to play...) Well, not many people still play records at 33rpm's anymore, but we all have our favorite records, CD's, or downloads that we just cant live without. Some people call them Desert Island Discs... Well I have considered which albums I would choose very carefully, and take my "list" very seriously. I want everyone to list their top picks. Naturally since I am a musical genius, I have the best taste in the world (a hint of sarcasm there, but not much...) Anyway, whoever has the BEST list, WILL WIN. You don't have to give your whole list at once. Throw out maybe one album or artist at a time. We can all discuss and debate your picks... The contest will run until the the end of August, and as we get further into the contest, you can give me your top 10.
Again, whoever I think has the best list, will win. Pompous... probably. Am I a music snob? Definitely. Will it be fun? Of course!
I must also add that I love all kinds of music... Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Gospel, Funk, Country, Metal... you name it. Each genre has someone, or something that makes it special. And of course there will be a good prize... Basically when we get near the end I will pick out the best list. The person who writes the best top 10,
