I posted this on the Questions sticky up above, I haven't gotten an answer yet so I though I'd bug you guys down here. :)

I just started using Yeti 510 LR cartos a couple days ago and out of 3, I have one that works perfectly. The flavor is awesome and so is the throat hit.

2 of them, however, burns my throat really bad and they taste terrible - a nasty burned atty flavor. I even blew them out before using them to check for any primer, but nothing came out. Oh, and I did make sure there was enough juice wicked into the material on the inside of the cartos.

Providing if I haven't done anything wrong, is this normal? I just need to bear with it till the flavor and burning TH goes away? This is my 1st time using LR cartos so I really don't know much about these things.

Thanks for any help and advice. :)

Unfortunately I don't use the LR cartomizers or I would offer some suggestions. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that the first time you used it you may not have had enough juice in there and it may have caused some singeing which maybe causing the burnt taste. Hopefully someone will come along and give you some better information.

From my expierence, if you managed to burn the wicking material on your cartomizer there is no way to remove the burnt taste. This is why cartomizers are designed to be disposable. When I first started using cartomizers I had plenty of trial and error myself whixch resulted in many broken/useless cartomizers.

You should probably start out with a new one and try to keep it wet at all times, see how that goes. Usually putting a drip tip at the end and dripping down the sides makes this alot easier.

Thanks Scorched...I had a feeling the cartos wouldn't be able to recover from me frying them. I guess over filling (which was what I was afraid of doing bc of the mess) is better than not filling them enough.

Thanks again.

I threw the 2 fried cartos out and filled another one with Oba Oba. It turned out perfect! Great flavor, tons of warm vapor. I guess I need to be smarter than the LR cartos, so now I am thanks to you guys! It helped than I didn't take any "sample" puffs before it had enough juice. It helped A LOT! I just need to have more patience.

Thanks again, guys! :)

*that I didn't take any "sample" puffs, even!

A little hint: Fill the cartos hours before you plan to use them. Overnight is great. Then check to make sure they're still "slushy" before you use them. If not, top them off...if so...go to it! This allows the juice to soak into the filler completely.

Oh and keep them wet while vaping and they'll last a LONG time. I use Boge 2.0 and every now and then I pop off the rubber mouthpiece, and re-wet the filler. It's easy with the Boge, and keeps them working great.
