Are grindhouse vapors ejuice liquids a national brand? They have different flavors like Frosted (like Frosted Flakes cereal), Surged, Sugga T**s, and I believe Gingerdead Man. I have only tried Surged which is one detox taste like Surge soda and while the flavor does resemble the soda somewhat, it isn't something I would want to vape very often and in fact I get tired of it pretty quickly. I cannot make a testimony about this brand as a whole yet and I am interested to see how Frosted tastes but it has been my experience that the premium juices are usually not worth the premium dough they ask for. House blends are just as good as long as the person making it knows what they are doing.

Are there any good "national brands" of e juice?
It's pretty much hit or miss IMHO. Much depends upon your personal taste standards and subjective likes and dislikes. What I might like you may not, and vice versa.

I worked last year at a vape shop which offered sampling of over 80 flavors from about 10 different national brands. Personally, I never found more than one or two flavors which I would personally purchase from any particular brand name line. But that's me.

I've never found a "gas station" e-liquid which I liked. Some shops which make their own flavors are about as hit or miss as the national brands. A few flavors were quite good, but most not to my particular taste.

What I have found is that I tend to like those companies which custom mix your order for you. You can order the Pg/Vg ratio as well as the nicotine concentration. Some offer additional "flavor shots". Some use all-natural, all-organic flavoring agents, which I have found to be more authentic tasting than those companies which use artificial flavoring agents.

I am the same way. It is very subjective, even to the gear used; wick, coil, wattage, etc. I started a spreadsheet from the beginning, and yes I may be a little OCD, but I have found about 15 flavors that I like. As I order a flavor that I like, I order one from the same vendor that I have not tried. Slowly, but surely I have found about 15. I am still going, it is just part of the gift of switching from cigs to vaping.

Right this moment I am vaping Smurf Cake, go figure.

As to out and about emergencies, I just keep juice buried in the car and change it out. Being at such a low nic level now, I really don't get emergencies.

I vape a lot of Mom&Pops liquids. Or rather, I mix (very thinly) from their concentrates. Can't think of any other US-based liquids I've vaped a lot of.

For classic, tobacco-ish flavors, Tobacco Praze and Buds Blend Menthol are nice, IMO. For sweeter stuff, DLish is quite nice. And Butterfly Bait. Oh... And Black Cherry (something) and Bianca's Bliss. Very subjective, I'm sure.

(This is coming from someone not Made in the USA.)
