Oh, and I've also realized that straight Perique and straight Latakia, even when done well, is just not something I want to vape. Check the PIF thread soon. But I will also say that if I ever do want to vape straight Perique, it would be fro RBFS -- though I am 99% certain that my days of Latakia admiration are over. I don't mind it in a blend (Paris or Porch Rocker) as long as it isn't taking over, but too much in the vape just doesn't agree with me.

While I love straight Perique, I doubt I'd be that big on a straight Latakia vape. I do still love it in a blend, both done lightly like Porch Rocker and SoGent, or stronger like Apache and DD. Straight though.. hmmmm can't imagine I'd want to grab for it often.

28 or twisted 32 here running around 1.5 ohms.

That's a bit lower heat than I'm running it at then.

Yes, it is lower.. But it's on the KFL, not a dropper.

I'm finding the KFL is also causing me to move away from hardcore juices like Apache and better appreciate juices like SoGent.

What's your experience with gunkability of RBFS in your Kayfun?

Change of wick per tank. F&B is slightly better thank PDST. Those are the only two RBFS I have.. PDST is almost gone!! :(

Thanks.

I'm looking forward to when you get the others, especially what you think about Porch Rocker. It's similar style as my memory of SoGent, and awesome in simiilar ways. John had compared/contrasted the differences between them in a post, but I forget what the differences are.

St. James you'll also like because you like Natural Perique from GeJ, but I'd bet you'll like St. James more.

I'll keep trying, but it hasn't hit the spot all the time on my palate. But that's not saying anything about anything except my palate which is all that matters. But, then again, all that matters is your palate!

I haven't tried the new, improved version. But I didn't taste maple in it originally, even though I was told it was very strong maple. Just a non-specific sweetness. Again, these were the original formulations I got last August. The only new one I have is DWIT.

I get the same, more of a non-specific sweeness instead of an obvious maple. I think Bill has described it similarily too.

I was wondering which liquid was even being discussed! But, I must say, I just brought out PDST and the nose of the liquid is just too nice to give up on (though I can't describe what that aroma is). This is one that I will try and try until I either get it or the contents are gone.

Maple huh. That reminds me, I gotta finally try this Hey Jack

I seem to remember pretty meh reviews from some of you on this. My first impression...meh. It's nice and vapeable, ADV vapeable, slightly maple...maybe...well balanced, a bit of a toasted finish. Overall seems kind of bland to me. It's nice, don;t get me wrong, but a little lacking in flavor overall.

What do you guys and gals thing of Hey Jack?

Never tried Hey Jack, but I found most of the NETs other than SoGent and Apache to be on the milder side. This includes FVFRY4. Good for beginners, but definitely mild for some of the seasoned palates on here.

I liked it the least of the MOV line. It was ok at first, though too sweet. The tobacco was too mild, the flavoring like a pancake syrup. Then the maple started tasting odd to me so I gave the rest to Jeff who likes it quite a bit.

Juicy, I found Hey Jack easily vapeable but too subtle to be really interesting. I think it would make a good first NET for a newbie, but it isn't going to rock your boat.

This is about exactly where I am on it. It is just on that side of the fence, while for me I think Southern Gent might be just on the reorder side...that is, until I got loaded up with DIY English blends by you most excellent DIYers. Now even London sits lonely in the corner

Damn this Mississippi River is funky.. as in Perique funky. AND Smoky. Almost too much happening. I feel like I've got a smoky campfire going on in my mouth. Reading reviews on it at tobaccoreviews.com as well as on here AND I don't know what those guys were smoking, but this one is definitely a bit much for this Mild to Medium vaper.

I gotta change it out.

I'm going straight into another "dark" juice.. Hearth & Home - Obsidian (Signature Series)

:nun:

Closing notes: I had this going for maybe 15 - 20 minutes, but the wick when I changed it out, was already darkening and gunking up. Not only does SPC Mississippi River seem funky, but it also seems very gunky.

Damn. And I just ordered from them a couple weeks ago, so I am out.

Marketing says a lot to me and influences my view of the product. The picture of Capone offends me. Lazy and ill advised choice. That guy was a murderous scumbag with few, if any, redeemable qualities...and this is coming from an Italian. No thanks.

I am nonetheless very curious to see someone review this!
I agree on all points, Marketing is their weakest link... Banana Montana & Pop That Cherry????? Really! Oh forgot Wild Turkey... took a long time to order this one because of the name.

Lol, I often forget GeJ has a Turkish because it has the name of a bourbon. I still need to try WT. At least BM (hehe) and PtC are off the menu.

As always, a concise, well thought out, and enjoyable review Ray.
