Calling it "The Godfather" and putting a Capone picture with it bothered me too... Then I remembered they have named other products things like "Banana Montana" and "Pop that Cherry!" The Godfather may actually be a step forward!

Looks like we think alike, I posted before arriving here, still don't like the Godfather for the name either.

Lol, I often forget GeJ has a Turkish because it has the name of a bourbon. I still need to try WT. At least BM (hehe) and PtC are off the menu.

I just can't stand the idea of a bannacco. It's like....what's in there? Coconut Cavendish and Banana-peel cased Burley?

That's just how the name sounds to me.

PtC is almost (if not directly) offensive in name.

& Agreed regarding the picture of Capone and the name.

Ecuadorian Especial would have been a better name.

Three-Leaf Stogie would have even been more appropriate.

I wish places would go for more humorous names that aren't offensive.

I hear tell of one place that has a liquid called "Synonym Toast".

If we use this logic and style of naming things, "The Godfather" should be called "The Three Stogies".

No offense meant to The Three Stooges, whatsoever.

"Moe, Larry, Cheese!" would be a funny name for a pipe tobacco that is perfect for sitting back and relaxing after a stressful, hectic day.

EDIT: as long as it didn't taste like cheese.

*shudders*

(also, while we were discussing this, someone bought a bottle. The stock went from 999 to 998)

I agree with you completely, I love GeJ. GeJ was my introduction to the wonderful world of NETs. I'll always have a bottle of Organic #1 on hand.

Acadian Gold and Vita Bella are my two favorites.

Hey BJ, I didn't know you were Italian. Which part of Italy did your family originate from? Mine all came from a seaside mountainous region of Calabria, called Palmi.

Sicilian, Calabrese and Neapolitan here.

I give up with experimenting this evening. I chickened out on Obsidian because it "smelled" almost as strong as Mississippi River, and went with CAO Bella Vanilla Cigar instead. It's completely BLAH! as in no tobacco taste to it at all and has an almost weird mothball flavour to it. It's that weird vanilla note messing with my head again..

I tried it at 10, 12 and then at 15 watts, and it's the same but just kept getting hotter. It definitely smells better than it vapes, and the juice looks inviting (thanks to Boomers extraction), but it's completely flat... weird!

Sorry Boomer! :(

Back with the Gaia loaded KFL.. Beautiful tranquility in a bottle! :)

Oh, and I've also realized that straight Perique and straight Latakia, even when done well, is just not something I want to vape. Check the PIF thread soon. But I will also say that if I ever do want to vape straight Perique, it would be from RBFS -- though I am 99% certain that my days of Latakia admiration are over. I don't mind it in a blend (Paris or Porch Rocker) as long as it isn't taking over, but too much in the vape just doesn't agree with me.

Ok... I've pretty much haven't tried anything new or any of that simply because I'm happy with Big Spirit from NET.com... but ....

I do keep some Perique and other single varietals onhand and will frankenjuice them with the BS to change up the flavor profile just enough to make it different. I enjoy it enough that I'd recommend to not PIF it off unless you just don't care for that rendition of Perique or Latakia.... If something you are vaping needs a bit of funk to add interest one evening... drip in a few drops of Perique.... need a bit more smokey or deeper flavor on another evening... hit it with the Latakia. As well as using the other flavors ( Burley, Virginia, Turkish whatever etc ).. just to help change up the e-juices you use or try later.

Now on the other hand... if you have too much of it... then PIF or swap it. I just can't see passing on good potential flavoring possibilities that the single varietals provide

Probably my favorite Baseball Player of all-time, loved the William Bendix movie, and Jim Thorpe was my Favorite All-around Athlete, played very well by Burt Lancaster .

Maple huh. That reminds me, I gotta finally try this Hey Jack

I seem to remember pretty meh reviews from some of you on this. My first impression...meh. It's nice and vapeable, ADV vapeable, slightly maple...maybe...well balanced, a bit of a toasted finish. Overall seems kind of bland to me. It's nice, don;t get me wrong, but a little lacking in flavor overall.

What do you guys and gals thing of Hey Jack?

Jerms was kind enough to PIF to me a bunch of MOV, since I had never tried them before, and Hey Jack was included with mostly a lot of their old, and now retired, Tennessee Tobacco line. Hey Jack was rather new at the time, and one of their first High VG line of elquids.

The tobacco takes a slight backseat to the sweet maple-ness of it all, accentuated by the billowy smooth mouthfeel. Leaves a strong pancake house room note, which brings to mind breakfast, mainly pancakes and maple-flavored breakfast sausage. Not that there's any meat savoriness in the liquid itself, it just brings it to mind. Even though I do love the room note and flavor, it does get a bit cloying after a while and I can not vape it continuously all day. A few hours at most, and then I need to move on to something else. It's a nice one to break the monotony of the vaping day with or as a treat, but it's a bit too heavy for long duration.

I'm not getting rid of it, I'm sharing it. And I giggle to myself when getting it ready to send..

Great, now I have to go look at the "What's the most revolting juice you've ever vaped?" thread just to find someone elses' reaction to this supposed travesty.

If you're giggling about it, you're sharing The Juice of Vaping Death or something.

It better not include Crab Juice as an adjunct.

And everybody, after the "Portola Incident", please don't mention Vanilla for a while.

I think it's subconsciously influencing other people's reaction to any juice that might contain it.

I could be wrong... :sneaky:

Just use the search function of ECF -- there's some nice reactions in the original Natural Tobacco thread ;) The original thread is a must read for anyone interested in learning about NETs, since everyone was learning about it bit by bit; a natural progression from interest to obsession to lifestyle to scholarship.

Oh, I know.

I was reading that right before my disappearance and snus endeavor & it was the reason I ordered from W2V, and possibly HHV. I don't really remember, now. It's been a while, and a lot of juice has been consumed since then.

And read the whole thing?

I have a few George R.R. Martin books to finish before that. He'll probably have book 6 out by the time I finish these two, so the timing's going to be good. Hopefully.

Then it's on to Aces Wild, which I have in storage somewhere. I really need to start reading that set, but you guys will see me disappear for a while any time I crack a good book or novel open. I'm one of those people who will read until I can't read any more and pass out with the book in my hand, or more often, against my face.

Thankfully I only do that with softcovers. I can't imagine rolling over onto the corner of a hardcover book. Yeowch!

Anyways, yeah, after dinner cup of coffee right now (enchiladas & cheesy bean dip) and then, well, probably some more reading here and then more reading elsewhere, then some watching. That's when I finally stop putting effort into things in the day and actually realize, "Hey, I must be tired."

:p

PS: I'm also reading the revolting juice thread because some of the reactions are making me laugh, extremely hard. This is something I rarely do, so I'm enjoying it while I can. :D

Dspin tells me that Walker Tobacco Alternatives are the best NET he has tried in 4 years. It's a massive claim but I respect this guys opinion, no matter how outlandish such an opinion may be, because he had similar high praise about Vaperite when they were one of only two NETS around and he was right. Dspin actually got me into NETS 2-3 years ago when he put me onto Vaperite.

Has anyone tried Walkers Tobacco Alternatives?

Well I put a new coil on and I don't have any issues with other juices with the setup.

I switched to my VTR with Aero tank and got a little more Vapor but not like most any ejuice. Boy this is a really authentic tobacco more like pipe tobacco so not my real fav (slightsly bitter). Maybe its just designed to not produce much vapor?

I think idolizing capone is like idealizing a serial killer, distusting. And the cherry name to me is damn near surrogatory rape, they need to market to adults right? This is the kind of stuff that will lead to a ban IMHO. Vendors need to have a sense of maturity. I've tried a half dozen RY4's (all natural tobacco) and for my taste theirs comes off artificial compared to vaperite and highbrow. But everyone has different sense of taste, that's what makes the world go around!

Just cracked open a bottle of my vapjuice.com cocoa blend. Really cool flavor, huge vapor hits and smooth. These guys are kinda of like Vaperite in that its hard to find a bad natural tabocca ejuice from there selection. Also they vapor proper big smooth hits, no gummed up coils after a couple tokes. These guys really no what they are doing. Trying raisen rum next for something really different than I have been vaping.

Not to worry. I felt the same vaping it. Others have different taste, so I kept it in the lineup. One more negative and of it goes. The Obsidian is good, really good.

Vaping Bill's Louisiana Red. This is a really well balanced tobacco. Virginia's are right up front with a light tongue pucker of Perique out back. Not as sweet as I expected from Red Virginia's. This is at 20% extract and seems just right for me. I'm keeping it cool at 8 watts on a 1.5 ohm coil in a 3D. Squonk, squonk. :vapor: :)
