I was looking at nets to order up for Father's day. The problem is I can't figure out what I want. After trying MFT's Cold Infusion and Sangria I'm kind of at a lost. I don't really know what I want. I thought I was moving away from cigars and towards English pipe blends. Then I tried Sangria and liked the slightly sweet and toasted flavor that had a good presence. The Cold Infusion grew on me as well. It has a good mildly sweet taste with overtones of teas and peach to go with a nice cigar body.

I think I appreciated the presence combined with the 5ml - 7ml coil and wick life almost as much as the flavor. Now, I'm all confused and don't know which way to go.

Sounds like many of us, you enjoy variety. As much as I also love English blends, if that's all I had to vape I wouldn't be enjoying myself much. What vendors are you considering for your FD orders?

Maybe this can have some meaning to people in a similar situation.

I have switched up drippers from the Veritas to the Origen V2 (for my RDA vaping) and I have found with the Origen v2, I can still use my high nic (all the way up to 32 mg) and vape happily. Now, don't get me wrong, I am *mostly* a hit-it-and-quit-it type of vaper and I generally only have night sessions where I take several drags every few minutes, but it's rarely ever a continuous type of deal. I am thinking with the huge airflow of the Veritas that it's just too much with high nic, but even with the same res/wire, the Origen v2 (even open all the way on the 2x2 mm airholes) does not make me sic. This is a really big deal to me!

On topic: I am happy that I can use my regular stash of nattys in my Origen v2 dripper without having to get all new nic percentages because I am not dripping nattys in my normal 510 attys as those are strictly for my pure-vape pleasure (meaning my barely flavored or just uber clean liquids). I would've had to have bought all new liquids AND not had much use for the high-nic stuff -- that'd been a waste. Man, vaping can be so particular.

Jeezus Jiminy! I wonder if the liquid was just sold as "vanilla"?! LOL.

That particular beta liquid didn't make the cut and was never added to MOV's retail line-up. In fact, of all the liquids I've beta-tested for MOV---about ten in all---none has ever been sold. Knowing how hard Steve works and how few of his creations ever see the light of day in the retail marketplace for MOV is one of the many reasons I don't want to be a vendor.

Yeah, I remember testing about 7 or so, but it was around the time my daughter was to be born so I couldn't give them much attention. I do remember my favorite though. I PIFed them to someone that came through like a champ with tasting notes for Steve!

I wonder if the person that received that PIF finished them off? (But he's received sooooo many PIFs. LOL. They may still be in his stash.) Man, I wish I had some of those liquids now though.

Haha yes, those have long been vaped up. I really dug a few, NETs similar in style to PenD.

MOV sells a LOT of juice, both in stores and online. They make everything in big batches, which means space and containers limits how much batches they can have. Each flavor has a few batches each, one for each nicotine level. I've heard that's the reason they don't offer more nic levels, one more nic level would mean another batch for every flavor. I'm assuming that's why they are extremely selective about adding a new juice, and often discontinue juices when adding new ones.

I wish they expanded their operation. Maybe that's something they are working towards. My biggest pet peeve is their nic level selection, having to choose 9mg or 18mg instead of my prefered 12mg. It would also be nice to see more new releases from them, as they make an excellent product. There hasn't been a new NET since Hey Jack. I still plan on ordering some of their newest artibaccos. The one I had, Americano, is an amazing coffee-artibacco that ranks up there with the best NET+coffees.

I've vaped almost one hundred retail coffee eliquids, but only three retail tobacco-coffee blends: Ahlusion JG Blend and MOV Sunday Morning, which are NETs with coffee flavoring, plus MOV Americano, which---as Jerms notes---uses a synthetic tobacco. Of that trio, Americano is the winner by a mile. Even more impressive is that it beats the stuffing out of nearly all the other retail coffee vapes I've tried.

Beyond that, Americano is better than most of the 50-or-so DIY coffee flavorings I have---coffee, mocha, cappuccino, espresso, tiramisu, etc.---including even my three homemade natural coffee extracts.

While I continue to vape a bunch of retail and DIY coffee eliquids, Americano is really in a league by itself (in my opinion).

I was looking at MOV, QeJ, and a couple of other tier one companies. I know I want to avoid HOL because of gunk and price. I also want to skip the A+ aromatics. I didn't like the tobacco base in Smokin Cherries at all.

Haven't forgotten you Bill. I'll see if I can find some Brasiliero to send with the Huntsman. Just tried the Puros, and it seems the flavor has faded on it darn it. Loving the Olivia Nub - heavy tannins maybe oak?

I haven't experienced gunk with HoL but I haven't tried all their stuff though.

I'm sorry to hear that Lavaca - what did it say?

Well, I logged in today for an update on Net.com's status, and here it is. Not the news I was hoping for, unfortunately. In light of the circumstances, can anyone recommend a stand-in for Clay's Black Cavendish? I've been hording my little stash in hopes that he would be able to get back on track, but even with stingy, occasional vaping, the well is about to run dry. Any suggestions?

Judging by an observation of MfTops posts over the last 6 months it seems evident he is a cigar lover just a little bit more than pipes (he can clarify this himself, I guess) so I am not surprised he is making liquids that are swaying you tantalisingly back in that direction.

I think that one of the indications of how good a vendor or home-brewer's extractions is, depends on how much they love tobacco or a specific type of tobacco. It's a bit like food. The best chefs understand and love food and always work on better and better versions of the dishes they love. I think it's similar with tobacco as well.

Okay so that sounded like a banal and vague post but it's late here and I am tired

I hear ya.

I was buying my swags of liquids all at 18 mg which was perfect in the pre-rba era and a little on the high side following more powerful atomizers and RDA's coming onto the market. For that reason I still tend to use regular atty's and not try to turn the voltage too high on RDA/RBAs. I have to match the hatch. I can't use my older stash of 18-24 mg liquids in the low ohm powerful RDA's. I am forced to use my newer lower nicotine liquids.

All my orders in the last 3 months have been a bit lower at 14-16mg and I think that still might be a bit high. No sub-ohm lung hits for me, not unless I bite the bullet and start ordering liquids with drastically lower levels of nicotine. Not that I am interested in lung hits anyway.

My vaping is still highly geared around extracting the most flavor out of juices with vapor production being a secondary consideration. I am finding smaller airholes and micro-coils are giving me the most intense flavour. Very airy builds with large holes increase vapor production and can be vaped at higher watts but compromise on flavour. Surprisingly, I have some unused Cisco Spec 306, 510, aero 510 and HH357s which I purchase from Avidvaper over a year ago that still produce some of the best flavour for me, comparable and sometimes beyond RDA's, at least the one's I build. I guess that probably means my coil builds need improving. But then again, we've come full circle in rebuilds. Everyone seems to be going the path of micro-coils which are essentially the kinds of builds that are used in those fixed atty's of yesteryear.

Awesome! I'm getting it next order, whenever next order will be. I'm sure you'll have a chance to report on it before then so I look forward to reading some impressions.

Don't hold your breath, Jermz. I'm horrible with reviews and I just got a new job as lead gaffer (glassblower) in A&M Galveston's Scientific Glass fabrication shop. So my spare time is super limited these days, especially with the commute (60 miles one way). I'll be moving to Galveston in January, buy that's beyond the scope of topic for this thread.

But I will let y'all know what I think of it. Probably not a whole review, but a 'good' or 'no good'.

New and improved June: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...apes-free-sample-giveaway-june-promotion.html

Haven't tried Ethervapes yet? Worth a look.

Ethervapes is a serious contender in the NET world. Possibly even 'A Tier'. Vash may just do a maceration, but the tobaccos he uses really make a generic method of NET production in to a fine, top shelf juice. And they're pretty dang clean, too.

I've tried almost all of his OG line up: Top Leaf, Gold Leaf, Vanilla Skye, Butterscotch Bliss and Pure Burley. I did not try Confederate (don't like Perique). Just now I ordered Eclipse, St. Stevens and Nomad.

Like posters above me said, EtherVapes has a Black Cavendish called Eclipse. You may give it a try. Oh, if you get 3 bottles Vash will toss in an extra. Just note what you want in the comments upon checkout. Good luck finding a replacement. I think Ether will fill that void.

Don't know for certain, but if you follow that Promo link I just posted, ask for the Eclipse. I am curious too, but went for the Vanilla Sky.

Vanilla Skye is damn good liquid. Its a bit sweet at first with the vanilla being pretty overpowering. Give it a week though and the vanilla takes a step back and the tobacco comes to front, center stage.

Thanks for the posting, Shatner!

RE: Vanilla Skye -- that's wanted I wanted to hear. Most of the NET vanilla tobaccos I've had seem light on the vanilla, almost to the point of being barely noticeable. Also, it contains a blend of the major tobaccos that I like (Virginia, Burley, Cavendish).

BTW, Vash did mention that he is looking to add a cigar extraction, but has limited experience with cigars and flavors. He did try a few ACID Blondes but didn't care for the floral notes. If anyone of you with more cigar experience care to PM him with recommendations, he'd appreciate it.

@Shatner: Congratulations on the job! Moving again?? Argh!:blink:
