Don't hold your breath, Jermz. I'm horrible with reviews and I just got a new job as lead gaffer (glassblower) in A&M Galveston's Scientific Glass fabrication shop. So my spare time is super limited these days, especially with the commute (60 miles one way). I'll be moving to Galveston in January, buy that's beyond the scope of topic for this thread.

But I will let y'all know what I think of it. Probably not a whole review, but a 'good' or 'no good'.

If we all get toppers with glass tanks, and you could make replacement glass, we could send you home extractions in trade and you would never have to buy liquid again.

Thanks for the posting, Shatner!

RE: Vanilla Skye -- that's wanted I wanted to hear. Most of the NET vanilla tobaccos I've had seem light on the vanilla, almost to the point of being barely noticeable. Also, it contains a blend of the major tobaccos that I like (Virginia, Burley, Cavendish).

BTW, Vash did mention that he is looking to add a cigar extraction, but has limited experience with cigars and flavors. He did try a few ACID Blondes but didn't care for the floral notes. If anyone of you with more cigar experience care to PM him with recommendations, he'd appreciate it.

@Shatner: Congratulations on the job! Moving again?? Argh!:blink:

I feel the same about most other vanilla tobaccos, Ahlusion's aside. I know you'll like Ether's.

I don't know much about cigars, but the Borkum Riff Bourbon Whiskey Pipe Tobacco and Sutliff Private Stock Blue Danube Pipe Tobacco from MVJ are mighty fine liquids. Honestly, I'm really sick of ACID Blond(e?). Everyone does it, and yes, each are different. But they all share that unmistakeable ACID note. Even so, I'm not just going to email Vash with unsolicited advice. It would royally piss me off if someone did that to me.

I only do the commute to Galveston once a week or so (I have it down to 45 minutes if I leave at just the right time) as I have a friend that has an artist's studio apartment in the Historic District. He's not there often, so I mostly have it to myself. Pretty freaking awesome and it's probably the type of place I'll get. I could have a small glass studio in my apartment. In a separate room, of course. So I just load up my 2 dogs and we go down there and stay for a few days a week. I really like the island lifestyle. It's super laid back and I can enjoy my (not allowed to talk about it here) pretty much worry free. Not to mention, the dogs absolutely love the beach. They can just run and swim until they collapse.

My lease in Houston ends in January. I'll be moving then.

Sorry for the off topic conversation. And now; back to our regularly scheduled program!

I'm only one guy with a huge waiting list. About 9 months. Also with my new job I've stopped taking any orders. Once all my pending orders are filled and I've been at my new job for a while and figure out how much free time I have that I want to dedicate to glass outside of work I'll start to take orders again.

Have you heard of auto mechanics that once loved working on cars that now hate it because it's a job? I have a feeling that's how I'll view glass.

But if I find some time to make tanks and tips I'd be down to trade for some home brew NET.

I hear ya.

I was buying my swags of liquids all at 18 mg which was perfect in the pre-rba era and a little on the high side following more powerful atomizers and RDA's coming onto the market. For that reason I still tend to use regular atty's and not try to turn the voltage too high on RDA/RBAs. I have to match the hatch. I can't use my older stash of 18-24 mg liquids in the low ohm powerful RDA's. I am forced to use my newer lower nicotine liquids.

All my orders in the last 3 months have been a bit lower at 14-16mg and I think that still might be a bit high. No sub-ohm lung hits for me, not unless I bite the bullet and start ordering liquids with drastically lower levels of nicotine. Not that I am interested in lung hits anyway.

Same here. I'm not a sub-ohm cloud-chaser, but it looks like I'm headed toward 12mg, down from 18, which was down from 24. And I'm not even trying to give up nicotine. Go figure.

My vaping is still highly geared around extracting the most flavor out of juices with vapor production being a secondary consideration. I am finding smaller airholes and micro-coils are giving me the most intense flavour. Very airy builds with large holes increase vapor production and can be vaped at higher watts but compromise on flavour. Surprisingly, I have some unused Cisco Spec 306, 510, aero 510 and HH357s which I purchase from Avidvaper over a year ago that still produce some of the best flavour for me, comparable and sometimes beyond RDA's, at least the one's I build. I guess that probably means my coil builds need improving. But then again, we've come full circle in rebuilds. Everyone seems to be going the path of micro-coils which are essentially the kinds of builds that are used in those fixed atty's of yesteryear.

It's hard to beat old-school atty-dripping for the best flavor. Between micro-coils and regular coils, I can't tell much difference. I'd give the photo finish to micro-coils by a nose, but more because of the organic cotton Kho Gen Do wicks than the coils themselves.

Emphasis mine.

Oh, it's solicited :) Vash asked for input for the members of this thread, and you know how forum rules are about vendors contacting members. But everyone here is cordially invited to participate in his subforum as well:

He was never a cigar smoker, and neither was I, so I am no help. He is also working on a few other new pipe type flavors.

Please, no more Blonde's. How about an Acid Opulence 3? How about an Ashton Heritage, or a Carlos Torano Exodus ’50 Years’, or Carlos Torano Hogshead? I would love to see some people branch out and show some inventiveness.

I know he isn't a cigar guy, but just run a search for top 10 cigars 20XX and try to figure something out. Read a few reviews and search out which one returns the best profit for your investment.

hey Jerms or anyone:

that company My vapes juice, with the extracted tobacco- these guys are considered one of the top dogs these days?

Also what is the mixture rate on that stuff? I didn't see any recommendations there? <<<< my bad if it has been posted here before 529 times pages would take me all day to read.

And Jerms what's are some of your favorite mixes these days? Black Cigar is a little to sour for me, but I like something in the blended range, I got some virginia flu cured but its a little on the weak side and little too sweet for an everyday but not bad.> At 10 bucks a pop for 12 ml of this stuff at my vapes juice, the mixture rate must be fairly low? also wondering when they say Pipe Tobacco, why the road sign on that? It tastes more like a pipe tobacco smok?

Anyway, I will be reading what you say. Also I dont like VG concentrates, I bought one highly touted one, and it produced almost no taste, 8 bucks of waste.

Your thoughts?

I've never bought NET extract and don't DIY, so I don't have much info to offer in that area. Like Mike says, probably around 20%-25%.

Really hate reading about all the shipping problems (yet again) in previous posts about N-E-T.com. Got an impulse a few days ago to drip some old Black Cavendish (10-6-13). It's really GOOD and still has plenty of flavor. Then, get on here read about the shipping problems again with some orders taking 3 months to arrive.

I hope Clay gets it together. His remarkable talent at producing some fine NET's is very good. I don't know him personally, but have talked to him many times. One particular call was 1hr & 39min long. I would like to have some more Gold and 3-Crown, but don't believe I can take waiting 3 months for the order. When things clear up, I may give it try. Not until then.

In the meantime, I'm really liking HHV. Shadow has become my favorite. Heavenly ARMY and Dragon's Fire is close behind.

I bought some extracts from there MVJ, iirc Diane told me the pipe tobacco extracts were 12-15%, cigar extracts were 15-20%

Well, I logged in today for an update on Net.com's status, and here it is. Not the news I was hoping for, unfortunately. In light of the circumstances, can anyone recommend a stand-in for Clay's Black Cavendish? I've been hording my little stash in hopes that he would be able to get back on track, but even with stingy, occasional vaping, the well is about to run dry. Any suggestions?

Right now, I'm standing by MvJ's Captain Black Royal.

Though, that's both golden and black Cavendish.

I'd get a bottle of extract to go with it, tbh, but the stuff I got from MvJ that has extra extract is developing with age. I just like my e-liquid punchy punchy from the get-go. This is two cavendish types balanced pretty well, but I'm seriously interested in trying them at a higher intensity level.

EDIT: I've read through the posts that followed. I think I might be giving Ethervapes' Eclipse a shot, but for now I'm stinkin' hooked on this Captain Black Royal.

Never tried a straight up Cavendish, never thought I'd like it this darned much, but I can't stop vaping it!

I need a different blend, quick, before my taste buds change their mind! :rickroll:

EDIT 2: I've added MvJ's Sutliff Private Stock R-Blend pipe tobacco into the EVOD containing 'The Captain'.

For me, this Cavendish blend just works with everything. I'll definitely be trying more blends that use Cavendish as an adjunct. For this to work with a non-aromatic like the Sutliff, it has to be quality stuff.

I've been dripping the Black Cavendish from Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com all night long. It hits all of the right notes for me: tobacco, sweet, creamy without any extra flavors, just dark, delicious tobacco.

Lately I've been leaning toward more fruit flavors and less tobacco, but sampling the Sun Cured Turkish the other day rekindled the desire for pure tobacco flavor. And then all of the chatting about MyVapeJuice and Ethervapes, both of whom offer Black Cavendish blends reminded me that I needed to dip back into my stash. And it satisfies me, nurtures the brain and pleases the tongue.

As with the Sun Cured Turkish revelation: this is also ADV material.

You know, all of this reminded me of how we were discussing HHV's changes, so I broke out the now well-aged, dark red/orange-ish Shadow.

This tastes much, much closer to how I remember Shadow tasting previously. This bottle has had the cap on, cap off (Karate Kid flashback, "Cap on, Cap off" interposed over the lines), treatment plenty of times. Yes, there is some kind of Bavarian creme-esque taste standing out, now. I don't think I'll ever figure this liquid out, but the Captain Black made me think of it for whatever reason.

I wonder if there's some sort of flavored Cavendish going on in some of these HHV blends?

My rotation was finally down to 4 or 5 juices, and NET.com's Black Cav was one of them. Eclipse sounds promising, but Clay is a tough act to follow. To really be fair to it, I really should wait awhile until Clay's offering is not so fresh in my memory before I try it. Once it gets here, though, curiosity will get the best of me.

Hey, it's good to hear that SHADOW is clicking for you. I've had those days as well. Lately it's due to improper wicking in my Fogger V2.5. There is nothing worse than having to chain-vape liquid you like that taste like .... because the cotton is burning, or because your device leaks all over the place and you end up drinking it. That's how come I had to put LEGEND down for awhile, after my Kayfun accident.

As far as certain HHV blends having Cavendish -- of course. That's how they get that creamy tobacco flavor/mouth feel.

I had Heavenly ARMY with me the other day during work, and on my lunch break I was vaping and it was a wonderful whipped cream chocolate with a touch of graham. I don't always get a chocolate with HA, but when it occurs -- it's wonderful :)
