I think we should just hold off on ordering from NETcom for a while. The more we order, the more backed up he gets. Let's just let Clay catch up. I don't know why he hasn't just shut down orders at this point.
Yeah, and as I've mentioned, other vendors have temporarily shut down in the past, due to having too many orders.
I honestly hope Clay will use this approach if this is the situation.
However...
*looks downwards at rdsok's & shatner's signatures*
I don't think the flow of orders is going to stop anytime soon.
The word is out, and nothing we do or say is going to stop it.
After I received my first (and only, thus far) order from NETCOM, I was recommending them to several people trying to stop smoking; I am not without fault and considered that Clay might appreciate the increased business, as around this time there was what I perceived as "the accelerated burst of orders being completed leading to being fully caught-up shortly thereafter", however, there's no way that my 10-15 or so recommendations (half of which were to analog users) actually caused another 1,000 orders to accrue.
That is, unless I was talking to some
pretty influential people.
Oh, man...

...the MIB's are gonna be after me, next.
I think Clay, himself, is going to need to take the next step if he wants the orders to stop flowing in long enough to destroy any sort of queue he's got right now in order to "return things to normal", so to speak.
I won't beat an overworked horse any longer.
I'm simply going to order where I've been ordering and work on fine-tuning my wicks, making a little list of 3-5 'baccos for a maceration, and getting some mason jars together for a good soak in a dark, dark place.
I'll worry about filtering them later on, but I am trying to figure out what micron size I actually want to filter down
to.
I'm not trying to put the stuff through a reverse-osmosis setup, but ya know- I still wonder what is going to be optimal.
Like most hobbies, I'm sure I'll take this one seriously enough to make it become work for me.
That doesn't mean I'm going to start a business, mind you. I just take my hobbies too seriously for my own good.
--------------------------------------------------
EDIT: Went to add an all-Cavendish sampler to my MvJ order, at the top I noticed this;
ITEMS LISTED HERE ARE CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK
Ashton Artisan's Blend Pipe Tobacco
5 Vegas Cask-Strength Cigar
--------------------------------------------------
Now, I'm
really grateful I didn't vape up all the Ashton and let it sit for a while alongside the Dunhill Early Morning.
I still have about 4 or so ml left of 5VCS (I'm just going to call it
5VCS from now on and refer to Ashton's as A
AB if/when she gets more of their tobaccos on the site.) remaining, and even without an added flavor shot that one is developing nicely - even though it was ordered as an STP product, it is
still developing, mind you. Much like a fine cigar itself does over time.
Odd that the juice's aging process shares similar characteristics to the parent tobaccos but works from the bottom up, so to speak.
After ...well, however many days it's been since I got the MvJ order, the Ashton has developed an entirely different taste and smell to the nose of the juice bottle itself. I wish I could explain that, but I can't. Might as well enjoy this one in moderation as I only have a half-full bottle of Latakia that Mann pif'ed me remaining.
I'll stick with The Captain for now.
I'll still be sad once the Captain Black Royal (aka "The Captain") is all vaped up, but that'll just make room for his compatriots in the juice drawer. That means moving all the DEV PIFs to the Dungeon.

It must be done. It pains me to do so, but....

Sorry, I couldn't hold it in any longer.
Anyhow, I'm enjoying trying these different Cavendish offerings.
Diane has done quite well, IMO, to have developed a juice that can keep me away from pretty much every other juice while I vape it, trying to figure out what I'm tasting that has me so intrigued with the juice.
I have felt this way three times; 1. When first trying HHV's Gandalf (now Legend.); 2. GeJ's
Acadian Gold, which completely caused me to ignore VB as I tried to figure out exactly
what was making me so polarized to the juice. 3. Bombay and Balkan. 'Nuff said.
However, I don't think I want to miss out on getting more of The Captain. So torn right now. I might just order a big bottle of CBR/The Captain (Captain Black Royal) and enjoy it through the steeping process.
...And to everyone who bought out the Ashton
AB & 5
VCS; Thank you for leaving my new favorite juice alone.
& To everyone about to run out of the Ashton; Order
The Captain- Quickly.
I can't guarantee you'll
love it, but if you like Cavendish, you don't have anything to lose, and a whole new level and spectrum of flavor to gain. I didn't even know I liked Cavendish this darned much, but apparently, I do.
EDIT 2: Oh, and if you
don't like it, I'll see you in the PIF thread.
(Though please, give it a week or two before you decide to give it away.)
