So has anyone here tired EtherVpaes Nomad? I got that one coming and I am kinda stocked about it.

I have. I'm enjoying it. I'm not really an expert on Turkish blends... I've only had Humpback and Sahara. This one has a solid tobacco flavor with a mild, natural sweetness to it. Similar to what I remember of Humpback, but I think I like this one better. Doesn't seem to gunk up coils too fast either.

Couldn't agree more. Here is where I posted my original thoughts when I first sampled it.

That's exactly what I'd hoped to hear (read)!

I spent eight days with nothing but MVJ's Dunhill Early Morning and MFT's Cold Infusion. I was not disappointed. MFT's juice went neck and neck with MVJ for cleanliness. It went 7ml before I decided to toss the head and stop rinsing coils/wicks between tanks. The MVJ made it 8ml with the same cleaning between tanks. I also found out that if I don't leave juice sitting in tanks overnight the heads appear to last longer.

Interestingly enough, I had more issues with the MVJ leaking and clogging near the end of the run. I stopped with the CI because of a loss of flavor. I may have gotten more out of the CI head but I just decided the torture test had went long enough. I was ready for something fresh.

EtherVapes lineup of in-house simple-soak maceration NETs looks good, and a majority of reviews here and elsewhere have been positive.

Makes me wish I still bought retail NET liquids---almost. Wait, I did buy one recently. Praise for Ahlusion Caramel Wild Wood has been so effusive on the thread that I finally broke down and ordered a 30ml bottle, along with a 10ml bottle of Ginger Candy, just so I could get a free 10ml bottle of Tiramisu. Nice to be able to confirm that all good-and-true NETizens here who love Caramel Wild Wood aren't crazy. (Not that I thought you were, at least not about that...)

I also received my promotional 30ml bottles of KillR Y4 and Admiral's Pipe, as promised from Brian of RBFS through VapingWatch. Thank you so much, Brian! I haven't tried either one yet, but I'll review KillR Y4 on The Really Big RY4 Roundup thread (and add it to The Big List of RY4s). For me, the King of the Hill of NET-based Custom RY4s is QuickNic OuR WhY Qu4tro, so we'll see if RBFS' custom RY4 can dethrone the reigning NET-based RY4 monarch. I'll also post my thoughts about Admiral's Pipe here.

Ah, so many NETs, so little time... Actually, I have more than ample time. It's just that between my own tobacco extractions, gifts of extract from my home-extractor friends, and retail NETs, the sheer number of good natural tobacco extracts and eliquids in my stash is approaching the overwhelm phase. As problems go, however, that's a good one to have.

I have tried a few NET's and have seen the QuickNic and have considered trying it. Have you had their Godz'Nilla? I have a love for RY4's and Vanilla tobacco's. Do you have suggestions? Would you share your thoughts, please?

I just started on MFT's Nub Cameroon. I think this quote from a review of the analog says it well.

. . .rich dark flavors, very heavy on the palate, but not harsh at all. It’s just a heavy dose of smoke that will cover your entire palate. It’s not a complex cigar at all, there’s nothing “wow” about the flavors, but it’s consistent with the dark smoky/roasted flavor profile that sticks around to the end.

Add in a bit of spice and you have it wrapped up in a nutshell. I am digging it as a change of pace. It has a masculine quality with bits of leather and wood. Mostly it is just a nice toasty tobacco. A great change of pace from the artisan mixtures and flavor rich cigars and pipes that I've been vaping lately. If this was a retail juice I would buy it. For me it would be something I vape when I get home from a long day at work or when I'm writing.

Brobdingnagian,

As far as I'm concerned ... It isn't any of your business what sig/banner that myself or anyone else happens to have but you should still pay more attention.... I had removed the NET.com banner a couple of days ago... I see Shatner has now also done the same... I'm almost tempted to replace it now... just in spite of your comment.

I actually had considered using a NETCOM signature myself for quite some time, and still am.

I was more interested in bringing a little bit of humor into the situation, not to say you guys were the cause of the order influx.

Rather, the focus was meant to be on what I said immediately following that;

Brobdingnagian said:
I don't think the flow of orders is going to stop anytime soon.

The word is out, and nothing we do or say is going to stop it.

After I received my first (and only, thus far) order from NETCOM, I was recommending them to several people trying to stop smoking; I am not without fault and considered that Clay might appreciate the increased business, as around this time there was what I perceived as "the accelerated burst of orders being completed leading to being fully caught-up shortly thereafter", however, there's no way that my 10-15 or so recommendations (half of which were to analog users) actually caused another 1,000 orders to accrue.

and specifically, emphasis on this;

I think Clay, himself, is going to need to take the next step if he wants the orders to stop flowing in long enough to destroy any sort of queue he's got right now in order to "return things to normal", so to speak.

(heck, I'll even go back and emphasize the original statement just to make sure the point isn't missed.
Done and done.)

Apologies for not noticing your signature change; I tend to randomly get distracted by shiny objects and just about anything else that catches my eye or attention.

There's also a lot of posts to go over, and I speed-read through most of them and then move on to the next one, only stopping to hit the like button.

I could only see what was on the same page without copy/pasting my long-winded post, and going back to try and find one of your posts to confirm it was/wasn't there wasn't on the top of my priority list.

Additionally, tapatalk doesn't display sigbanners;

I haven't been using it that long, but I do know I don't see my own signature while using it.

Often, that's the quickest way for me to catch up on the thread- rather than take the PC out of idle and disrupt F@H.

If you feel I slighted you in any manner, please let me know, as that was not my intent.

EDIT: I might also need to add that, about half of the recommendations I made were to people who had tried cig-a-like products and given up on vaping entirely. After trying NETCOM, I was certain that was the quickest path for them to quit smoking. As I said, I am not without fault, and I could not have forseen such a backlog developing so quickly.

I haven't had Godz'Nilla.

The Really Big RY4 Roundup thread (all 536 pages of it) has my thoughts about RY4s, about 100,000 words worth. For the distilled essence of that, check out the four posts that comprise my most recent bi-monthly update of The Big RY4 List:

"Words worth?" Wordsworth on RY4. LOL. 100,000 words might be a bit low on that estimation though. But, every post is worth reading, even if one isn't necessarily into RY4s!

I have also tried many of the vendors, A+ to C's. I will mention that Vermillion River's KY4 is rated higher IMO. There are so many unique flavors, such as Halo's Tribeca, no NET, that I find very good. I was very pleased with MOV's FVF before the "discovery" and since then the flavor is just not the same. I was ordering 30 mls. on a regular basis. Now, I just don't like it! Is it just me or has it changed that much?

One more thing I have never seen is that the liquid is less than good.

I must say that even though Clay is/was NET.com, when I speak about the company, that is really all I am speaking about. I will always appreciate the man and keep my feelings for him separate from my feelings about how the business has played out.

And in his absence and restrictions to purchase his liquids, I think there is a greater appreciation to the marvel and wizardry of his NETs.

I hope he returns soon. Supplier thread or not, he has a massive consumer and supplier base in many of us.

If you just started vaping this January, it's probably you. :)

I know my own tastes kept changing considerably for the first year or so!

I see...so you feel it may be sub-par liquid, so much so that you wont vape it, and so much so that you wouldn't recommend it to anyone...but you WILL nonetheless sell this allegedly inferior product to some unsuspecting sap

Unbelievable (how's that for a BJ rant? 1 word)

I hear you, BJ. I won't criticize Clay or NETcom..and I really can't articulate why very well.

The obvious stuff is pretty simple. Clay turned my head on NETs, period, full stop.
Until that point, I thought Halo and Hurricane Vapors were pretty skippy. I haven't placed an order with either since.

But that's the obvious. The rest is impression and instinct, admittedly from afar, but that's the way I've always rolled.
Clay strikes me as "true". There's a paragraph or two behind that one word, but I'll spare the reader the details of it.

I want him to fully recover from everything and be well, happy, and whole again.

Period. Full stop.

I decided to make a new one.

Anyhow,

The next MvJ order I have made consists of nothing but Cavendish tobaccos.

The Sampler;

1. Flavor 1: Drew Estate Toasted Black Cavend
- 1. Flavor 2: Captain Black Dark Pipe Tobacco
- 1. Flavor 3: Captain Black Regular Pipe Tobac

...Apparently the ends of the names are truncated...anyhow; the meat of the order was this:

Captain Black Royal Pipe Tobacco

74ml BULK SIZE

Everything feels at peace. A Brobdingnagian-sized bottle of The Captain.

BULK SIZE

I think I'll sleep soundly tonight. :D

BULK SIZE

That's what will be echoing through my mind when I fall asleep tonight, and when I go to stalk the postman in a couple of days.

I am going to make my best attempt to not vape that bottle for at least a week, thus the purpose of the sampler bottles will be served. How a liquid develops when I first receive it, as in the taste during the steeping, is quite important to how I will enjoy it overall.

Liquids that fail this test often do not fully satisfy me after steeping, so I quite literally don't bother with steeping at the forefront unless I immediately know that I should save some of a liquid just to see how it ends up developing, else I demolish it and try to salvage drops from a near-empty bottle down the line.

The Captain passed this test with flying colors.

BULK SIZE

I think that about sums it up. :)

EDIT; I'd forgotten to mention, I've finally made it down to 18mg nic again. The RBA is just too intense with 18mg Shadow in it, so I'm trying to standardize my juice across the board and get my nic levels down a little bit more.

For reference, the MvJ order I received last time was mixed to 20mg/ml approximately.

The previous order was 21, directly from 24mg/ml.

I am reminded of my run-in with 36mg/ml (Lordie, no, not in the RBA, I might be insane, but I'm not suicidal!).

A puff or two of 36mg/ml was enough for me to think, "This is a bad idea." and give back to the person who offered it to me.

The toasted black cavendish is in my significant order from MVJ and it is one of the best early shiners in pre steeped state. I can tell its a real winner already.

Now hurry up and steep you good thang!
