All my NETs gunk coils fast. What better filter would there be? (I'm not totally lazy. Searching this thread with filter keywords right now.)

They all gunk fast. But a PG maceration filtered just via coffee filter will be much faster. Like maybe 4x faster.

As for alternatives ... yeah, research it. No one easy answer.

Late and on my phone, but tomorrow I wil attempt to remember to post a link to McMaster Carr 5 micron felt filters I use in my French Press coffee maker. I cut a circle of felt slightly larger than the plunger in the coffee maker, put the steeped maceration in the flask, then filter, plunger and press. Pour the extract into a bottle and use 15 - 20% for my final juice. Still gunks, but heck, it's a NET! Plus I wash the filters and reuse them.

Thank you @billherbst for this method. Others use finer lab filters but I don't do enough extractions anymore to justify the cost involved.

I will leave recommendations to others, but I have some Peter Stokbey (I know I spelled that wrong) Turkish that is pretty good. But I love a good perique, so take that as you will

Boomer you can get an entire pouch of American Spirit into a large baby food jar! Find that hard to believe. So what do you mean by Nic. Vape isn't the nicotine coming from the the tobacco you just macerated? Or do you add some other nicotine?

Actually, I was talking about a pack of the cigarettes that you may have still laying around. In a Junior size baby food jar. Macerated pipe tobacco has very little Nicotine in it. I meant the Nic you add when your mixing your own juice.

I have problems to find good paper filters for the heat ethanol extraction in europe. I am thinking 3 mycrometer must be enough.

Ok I am new to this thread - read the first post to see if this was the right place to be - and it seems so. I recently tried 11 of Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco's ready made eliquids. 9 of them I chose and 2 were sent as freebies. (A little background - I am a super taster, I have tried a lot of flavorings 148 - out of those I only liked 1 tobacco flavoring and 2 Tobacco Absolutes.) Of the ready made eliquids I absolutely love the 1 called "The Minister" (which was a freebie) I use it at 5% in my nic base. (now you can see why I could not use ready mades when I tried to vape) Anyhow what I would like to know - has anyone bought the N.E.T. eliquid and the extract with the same name - and if so are they the same? On the site they say they use it at 25% in the ready made eliquid and I was thinking of buying the extract and making my own using 1.25% in my nic base.
