I have a hybrid DIY for Castle Long for the E juice me up blending calculator if anyone is interested.

I don't DIY at all, never even tried it, no interest at all. However, if you share this I will have all the ingredients within a week of posting and will be a happy man.

I've heard of that one a few times, and people spoke very highly of it. But I looked it up: Kentucky Bourbon, accented with toasted coconut, roasted almond, Madagascar vanilla bean, and laced with a caramelized brown sugar.
I'm just a boring, straight ahead tobacco kind of guy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love Castle Long! I miss it. I also liked Lucena, Absolute Pin and some of the discontinued ones in the Five Pawn line.

Where shipping cost more than the item shipped? Sure, would you like insurance with that?hahahahahahha

Sure ! Maybe you could throw in some candy and American snacks like the big vendors do lol

So been vaping a few nets for a couple years, mainly hhv. Also have tried a couple from goodejuice and black note and although I prefer hhv, both the others were good as well. Last year I tried about 6 flavors from net.com and they all had a much much different flavor to them compared to my regulars. I could smell the difference right from the bottle and could taste it even more. To me it tasted like a dirty ashtray and I kept retrying these flavors for months of steeping. So last month I figured I try a couple more nets and bought a few from mov and want2vapes and as soon as I opened to smell, I got that same wet, dirty ashtray smell as the ones from net.com. I have tried these and they taste exactly how they smell and to me are nothing even close to the ones from the first 3 I mentioned. I know they are all nets, but the ones I prefer taste like regular tobacco juices but the others have a very distinguished vile taste and odor to them which is totally unvapable to me.....not really sure why I'm getting 2 very very different profiles on these juices and it's keeping me from trying other nets. Before vaping nets, I vaped non net tobaccos and the ones from hhv, goodejuice, and Blacknote seem kind of similiar to the non nets, but just more authentic, but those others seem so very different and all have a nasty taste to them imo and I cannot figure out why?

Oh dear. If you read back a few months in this thread you will find some posts I put up about my disarray on some of our much loved NET vendors who were powerhouses in the peak NET period which I believe was between 2011 and 2016.

There was a time when you would crack a bottle of Want2Vape and NET.com and smell the wonderful richness of clean but strong tobacco.

I’ve had the same problem with NeT.com in the last couple of years. I have found the juices unvapable and the odour from the juices tells me
something is not quite right.

In my personal, and possibly misguided opinion, I think our much loved popular NET vendors from yesteryear may have become complacent and haven’t discarded older batches of extracted tobaccos. That’s the only way I can make any sense of why my tastes for NET.com has changed dramatically. I used to LOVE NET.com.

I also purchased Goodejuice about a year ago and apart from Patriot which seems to have had a recipe change (which the vendor denies btw) I found all the juices to taste the same way they did 5 years ago and no presence of odours hinting at an aged bottle of juice.

Maybe that's the difference. Maybe the ones I like are cold extractions and dislike the heat extractions. ....will look into this, thanks
It sounds to me that you are picking up the flavor notes of heat extracted NET which has a pronounced "ashey" taste and odor. Try Realextracts.com - they are all cold extracted NET. I have stuck with them for years exclusively.

I knew this was the right place to come for a tobacco lover like myself. I vape tobacco only, and this is the stuff that I like the most; there are a lot of brands here, very good ones, but this is the one I take to heart...

Unfortunately, I'm out of Oriental (an Izmir extract), but I can deal with it for now XD

That's why I reduced my commercial purchases to just MOV and GeJ. MOV actually, for me, has even better flavor notes. Patriot is a far cry from what it was a few years ago. I ordered Vita Bella with fingers crossed. The Godfather is just so damn good I order two.

Love vita bela and order it alot, but just a month ago ordered apache from mov for the first time and it's horrifying. There are no words to describe the smell and flavor I'm getting, it totally taste like I took a pack of used cigarette butts, wet them and let them fester in an ashtray for a month and then tried to vape them. Maybe some nets are supposed to taste like that because I tried a few a couple years ago like that, but just can't figure why some are so rank while other nets don't have that stank what so ever.

You don't like Latakia blends apparently. They aren't for everyone. Apache is probably the most hardcore NET in the market. You might like Full Virginia Flake or Sunday Morning better, but then again, if you like "NETs" in the HHV mold, just stick with them. I like HHV "NETs" too, but they don't really cut it, when i have the tobacco itch. They are good when i'm in the mood for a sweeter, lighter NET. I consider them dessert NETs. I'm almost certain they have other flavorings besides tobacco in them, but if i recall, HHV denied this.

Fire and smoke cured tobaccos are certainly going to have a smokey campfire like flavor to them... not an ashtray or cigarette .... flavor which is completely different. Latakia tobacco ( a Sirian type ) is probably one of the strongest... I suspect it's likely what you are actually tasting in Apache ( it was long ago since I had it so can't remember to be certain ) I know it's in Want2Vape's London Blend and lightly in Pure Smoke.

Another issue... most people don't actually taste things the same way and certainly don't have the same preferences. What you may find horrible another may find superbly bold. If you don't or do like something others have a different opinion, that's fine also, but still don't forget to respect the other peoples opinions.

Could very well be. It's hard because it's like a 50/50 ratio I'm seeing with the ones I order and makes it hard to know which have that ashy taste and ones that do not. Along with apache I ordered a few from want2vapes, London, Louisville, managua, and coffee infused and everyone has that funk to them as well and just find it so very offensive. Maybe it's real nets I don't like and ones from hhv, goodejuice, and Blacknote are perhaps not 100 percent nets? Just trying to figure it out, so I can perhaps not order those types. I forgot which ones I ordered from net.com , but they had that same very over powering taste to them as well. I will perhaps try the ones you suggested, thanks

Yes, everybody has different taste buds. The juices you mention as being good for you are ones I tried and never ordered again. I simply didn't get any tobacco experience from them at all. And the ones you think are overpowering are among my favorites.

Though many companies claim to mix with nets instead of synthetic flavorings, to me the flavor level is so subtle I can't tell which they are.

You're not wrong and neither am I. Just different, and that's fine.
