Quickie taste of Ahlusion JG Blend...light coffee, 18mg, 70% PG

This has the signature A+ sweet tobacco base with a very realistic non-burnt, non-bitter coffee undertone. If you're familiar with the profile of their tobaccos, calling this "Coffee House Blend" wouldn't be far off the mark. The exhale is where the coffee comes into its own...it almost reads as a mocha-chocolatey flavor. As with all coffees, this benefits from heat, so crank the watts up to get the best out of it. I find this a very smooth and relaxing vape, not as sweet as Smooth Criminal or some of the other non-aromatics. I will have no problem finishing my 10ml bottle.

Nice!! I just tried my Maple house Blend that is a few weeks old and it is pretty damn tasty. It has that very familiar Ahlusion non-aromatic base profile with a very natural and sweet but not too sweet maple overtone. I'm liking it.

Thank you to everyone who has made this thread so enjoyable and informative. This is a great resource for anyone looking for quality tobacco taste.

Most of what I like I found reviewed here as well as what I now know not to reorder. I'm liking some of the sweet tobaccos mostly, digging Vita Bella as I write.

Welcome, johni! It's good to have you on board.

Has anyone else tried to order from Cravin vapes yet? I decided I'd give them a try, and get some Blue Organic and Vanilla Pipe. I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my order through, and the site itself seems mad slow. I have zero tolerance for this kinda stuff. I don't like fighting with websites. Anyone get an order through besides Papaw?

Edit: I contacted Chris at Cravin Vapes to mention the card processing issue. He responded in 5 minutes letting me know he was on it. 2 minutes later he sent me an email saying the issue was resolved, and also gave me a 15% discount code for my 'troubles'. Nice ;)

Blue Organic and Vanilla Pipe on the way!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!

Yes, little bit excited to see more aromatics popping up. Looks like they are all showing an as unavailable right now, even the BGB and DD, wonder why that is? Not a big deal as I have Vurley and DD and am on a buying freeze. After I get through most of my current liquid I plan on having the whole line of aromatics on hand, minus the drunken brother. Hopefully Smokin Cherries is out by then, looking forward to that the most.

One of you more experienced vapers help me out here a little 1) If you are NOT an existing customer at Ahlusion can you still order from them ? 2) Why two different tobacco lines ? any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.
P.S. After seven weeks my Gandalf is FINALLY tasting like cherry tobacco to me. and I like it !

I'm kind of scratching my head why you can't fill your cart when they're closed with what you want for when they do open. I'm ready for another batch order. One click would be nice when the time comes around.

EDIT: I forgot about the 'wishlist' thingy. It's been a while, alright? LOL:facepalm:

Correction- my - ADV - is finally tasting like cherry tobacco. Appearantly Warner Bros Inc is now verry upset with Adam and Heather. Gollem becomes Sludge and Shadowfax is Shadow.

Unfortunately Papaw right now they are only open to members(existing customers) but that may change soon. To my knowledge the difference between the two tobacco lines is mainly a difference in tobacco used for the extraction. I'm not sure if they are extracted differently or not. Mr. Mann would be better qualified to answer that. So there premium line uses Aromatic tobacco while the regular tobacco line uses non aromatic tobacco. The aromatics are a much more straight up, brut and in your face tobacco while the non aromatics are much more mild and sweeter. The following is pieces taken from their website off the Devil Dog page this should help distinguish the difference between the two lines. Both are very good and at first the aromatics were a little intimidating but now they are my favorite vape hands down.

WARNING: Do not get this or ANY Premium blend available on Ahlusion if you're expecting yet another flavored "tobacco"! These are bold and uncompromising blends! Our Premium blends are not for the casual "tobacco" vaper.

Unlike our other tobacco flavors which are sweeter (Cavendish - sweet and mild), the tobaccos used in Devil Dog are processed differently and as such this is not as sweet but also stronger in tobacco flavor.

As with all our natural tobaccos, every batch is tested to be free of additives. We only use certified Organic tobaccos from registered farms.

F.a.q: What is an aromatic blend? Generally (not necessarily in the vaping world), aromatic tobacco blends are those which give off a distinct, complex and more robust aroma and room note, like in various moist pipe blends. This is mainly due to added flavoring. When it comes to our natural aromatic blends (in our Premium line), we've captured those specific flavors and aromas derived (mainly) from our Burleys, Virginias, Perique and Latakia blends.
Non-aromatic blends can be in anything from cigarettes, to pipes; traditionally non-aromatic blends can consist of any blend of tobaccos, but they usually lack that distinct aroma and flavor; most of the focus is on the pure natural flavors of the tobaccos used. For our non-aromatic blends we use milder Cavendish blends which are a bit sweeter and balanced with complementary flavors.
If you've only smoked cigarettes, it's almost impossible to convey the experience or difference of aromatic blends.

The aros and no-aros are extracted differently, with the exception of Smooth Criminal. Smooth Criminal is extracted like the aros, but a milder tobacco is used. The non-aros use a tobacco that imparts elements of flavor to be used in the overall make-up of the juice, whereas the aros are all about the tobacco, which is robust (even in the case of additional infused flavor.)

Yes Racehorse..No PG at all..not even in their flavorings...no alcohol

Well, let me know if you like the JC (I didn't, can't take the smokey mesquite undertones).

There's another gal on ECF who has similar problems, but she can't vape ANY flavor at all. But from people like this, I learned a lot about special needs vaporers. I also spent a lot of time in the DIY area, some of those people are probably more knowledgeable "mixers" than some of the juice vendors

You are probably not going to be one of those people who gets to try and enjoy a lot of fun juice, but if you can just get your nicotine delivered in a half way decent vape, you'll be able to vape. If your lung function improves down the line, then you can keep experimenting a little more.

First: you should figure out if it is the flavorings that are bothering you. This is very possible. The only way to do that is vape plain VG with nic. It's really kinda tasty, sort of sweet and pillowy. Lots of vapor.

Flavorings for special needs vaporers can always be a problem. It could be the %'s, or it could be one of the flavorings itself. There may be some you can vape and others you can't. One thing is for sure, the less flavoring you use, the better off you probably are going to be.

I think you're only going to have 3 options. DIY your own juice, vape flavorless juice, or try this stuff:

Ecopure Rich or Ecopure Regular. Cignot and Intellicig has it. It's the cleanest vape you are ever going to find out there. It is not cheap. Intellicig also has it in cartridges. It won a Vapenstein Award before all the new kids on the block came along. Reviewer described thusly: ""The flavor on inhale is incredibly difficult to compare to anything. It is clean. Incredibly clean. Squeaky clean. Operating room clean. It is like taking a blast of pure oxygen. It's strangely appealing how neutral and crisp the flavor is." He described it as miraculous. :)
http://.............../the-lab/juice-review/90-juice-review-intellicig-ecopure-rich

Now, understand, this was before all the custom mixers came along, this is legacy juice :) But I think you will be okay on this stuff. It's got enough analog-likeness to get you thru.

you can buy here:
ECOpure e-Liquid
or here:
https://www.cignot.com/category_s/27.htm

If you want to DIY, just get some ECOpure Krystal e-Liquid 10 ml in 36mg and dilute it down to your nic strength.

Cignot looks like they're going to discontinue it, I imagine again because it's so expensive.

Then, head over to the DIYers section and ask them about flavorings. Fernand has some very good posts....do a search in DIY and you will see some of those conversations. There are people who are into vaping as clean as possible, since the only really healthy thing to put in lungs of course, is air. :) Nature's Flavors is one company who has flavors that are no PG....but they may have ethyl alcohol. I will have to look again. I know some of the vendors like HHV and VV and such carry 100% VG juice but it looks like they are using alcohol instead. Anyway, you are in a category where you can take no chances, you cannot be wheezing.

Of course, if you like the JC stuff, then that will be good, too. Did you get a lab report from them or ask about flavorings?

I will also see if I can find some of the folks with your situation and see if they can talk to you.

hahaha! It's really cool cause when they open, all you have to do is click the add to cart button. Trust me, I ordered today and had forgotten about it! I almost went through added all the bottles singularly. That would've sucked!

question....
just tried smoke smooth ultimate tobacco, and when i opened it, wth smelled like cheap vodka,
i was brave enough to vape it, taste like an oh hum tobacco, but why oh why the smell??

I am not familiar with the juice. Who makes it? Is it stated as a natural tobacco? Even if it is not, and sometimes when it is, alcohol can be used in the extraction, or to thin the tobacco absolute, or to thin the VG. There are numerous reasons why, but it should evaporate unless the juice maker had a heavy hand. Just leave the bottle uncapped for a few days and with intermittent shaking (of course recap it then.) If the alcohol doesn't leave after a week or so of that, the trash bin loves those kind of juices! But in all seriousness, sometimes just put it away and forget about it -- wondrous things (sometimes) happen out of sight and out of mind.
