Damn Luce! Now I gotta get some! Still wanting to know what you think about Southern Gentleman?? How do these compare in brut tobacco strength to the Ahlusion aromatics. I'm loving the tobacco way up front and in my face lately! Sent from my Minds Eye

Sunday Morning is comparable to the aromatics. Pendragon is in a class of its own. Southern Gentlemen is my least favorite of the bunch. It's medium bodied with a slight bit of smokiness. Both Sunday Morning and Pendragon are 10/10. Southern Gentlemen would be 8.5/10

Got my Plume Room order in and am happily indulging in Candied Cavendish once again. This stuff rocks, even unsteeped. Andrea was kind enough to upsize one of my 30ml bottles to 50mls (!) so I am set for the forseeable future.

I also tried two non-tobaccos in my order that bear mentioning... Buttery Cinnamon Sweetroll and Creamy Mint. The reason? I've never liked a cinnamon roll juice (I get that unpleasant cinnamon-blast that knocks out the tongue) or a mint/menthol juice. The BCSR is mild and buttery with no bite, and the Creamy Mint is a dead ringer for one of those pastel-colored cream mints. Just the ever so faint mint on the tip of the tongue on exhale. Delicious and moreish.

It seems that Andrea is quite the whiz at making stuff for people who say, "Oh, I hate XXXXX flavors" and changing their minds;)

Cool! I actually just started a write up in the review section on all of the tobaccos from TPR. Got 2 done now and will probably finish in a week. I like all of them and have grown to love a few. Andrea really is very generous with upsizing bottles.

Andrea is going to really dig that. She doesn't forget either. I did a few reviews early on in this thread, and she went out of her way to make it known that she appreciated it. Top notch outfit she has going, but the personal touch can't be equaled in my book.

I went and checked out Catskill Mountain Vapors, and the description on their product page of the Macerated tobacco sounded eerily familiar. It is nearly word-for-word identical to that of Tasty Vapor's Tobacco, which was one of the first NETs out there if I'm not mistaken. Many of the other CMV product images and descriptions are also exactly or very very similar to those on Tasty Vapor's site.

So it would appear that CMV is a wholesale customer of TV. Either that or... I'm not going to say....:)

Okay, but is it good? how does it compare to TPRs tobaccos or Allusions bluegrass burley? I guess I could just order some, but I figured its silly to spend 15.00 on only 1 oz but if its dreadful, 4 oz or even 1oz is a waste if its not good.

I never thought I'd be buying more juice any time soon. I should quit reading this thread!

Can't say, Avidfan. I used to order from Tastyvapor heaps back when I was all over the bakery flavors (their blueberry pie, cheesecakes, peach cobbler and bananas Foster are still benchmarks for me) but I never did try their tobacco. There are only two, a plain and a menthol, but they're both NET. They do have samples for about 6 bucks. I keep meaning to try them but other things keep distracting me.

I just read the description at GeJ for Patriot and it looks like maybe the Kentucky Cavendish was the change?

I was just thinking, I'm pretty excited to try Patriot and am not concerned about the recipe change since I never had the original to begin with. On the other hand, if that were to happen to Vita Bella, as much as I trust Nick's judgement I would probably be very out of sorts until I tried the new recipe. And that new recipe would have some pretty harsh expectations to meet.

Cat's PJs, I like and appreciate all of GEJ's blends. In my opinion (there are surely others) the two best of the range are Vita and Patriot. For me, Wrangler, Wild Turkey, Acadian Gold, and Perique all taste kind of similar, with that bright almost metallic (in a good way) flavor accent. But neither of them has the throat-stomp of the A+ aromatics. They are just milder by nature.

Thanks Scarf. That kinda what I thought:) I do like Vita Bella. Ill probably give patriot a try.

And... yet another NET line, this one from the UK:

Vapist's Vapours RTS Range

Nice scarf!! It's great they mention which tobaccos are used. They have a few I haven't seen used before. Nicaraguan and Dominican. Could be interesting. £4.50 puts them at under $8, I think. Not a bad price.

I like the stale nicotine ashtray tobaccos more than the swisher sweet (HHV) or inhaling a fresh pack of cigs taste (AV).

HHV tobaccos to me taste like a swisher sweet shoved in a pipe with some grass. Def not for me. Alien Visions tobac tastes to me like when you inhale a freshly opened pack of cigarettes. That smell magnified about 20x. Not like a nomal analog. The best analog representative flavors I've tried so far are Freedom from Smokeless Image. Very analog taste. And Gamel from Alien Visions. Also very analog taste. There is a tricky balance I think. A pipe or cigar tobacco is a much different experience than a regular .... A normal ... basically tastes like a stale nicotine hit. That is what most new e-cig converts are seeking probably. Better not steer them to pipe/swisher sweet tobacco tastes.

Well everyone has their own preferences, but it won't change mine or yours Scarf = especially when it comes from someone who called me a shi* and even worse than that by far, a c*** on another thread..

I will not feed the troll. I will not feed the troll. I will not feed the troll.
