Good post!
NOOOO, PM one of us who like them!

I had trouble telling the difference, it almost seemed like Gandalf was the strongest and most-complex and the other 3 I tried were Gandalf with something missing.

The perfume, however, struck me as a very I-just-walked-into-a-tobaccanist's note. So that is one of the things I like about them. And since I still smoke I need strong flavors. I just got some GoodEjuice Natural Perique and I can tell that it is very complex, and I will probably love it starting a month or 2 AFTER I finally give up analogs, but for now my taste buds are still muted and I need something very distinctive to get off the stinkys. So I'm hoping Gandalf is one of the answers. It has just been brought forcefully to my attention that I need at least one alternate flavor for those days when I get the vaper-mutes that seems to come and go if one does not switch flavors.

Perfume's etymology:

[French parfum, from Old Italian parfumo, from parfumare, to fill with smoke : par-, intensive pref. (from Latin per-, per-) + fumare, to smoke (from Latin fmre, from fmus, smoke).]

I sure hope some of you got a chance to get Devil Dog. Let me tell you, this Dog is not a dog to toy with. I love it when a vendor delivers as described. For all real tobacco lovers: if you like W2V but hate clogging attys, try this. Actually, I think this is an overall better vape than what I've tried (all of the NETs) from W2V. Saying that is not as much demeaning to W2V as it is HIGH PRAISE to AHLUSION!!!!!!!!

Oh, and the TH at 18 is a wallop!

I'm so glad you finally were able to try it. Yeah it's the liquid that's as good as Want2Vape without any of the atty/carto killers. I have to email them so I can get some!!

I have vaped this now for several hours and it is clear (tasting), crisp, bold and most importantly, real tobacco! No ill atty issues yet, where as with W2V, it happens within minutes (if not seconds). Sometimes with W2V, I get almost a cloudy essence to the juice that impedes the flavor revelations. (If that makes any sense?) With DD, all I taste is what I am supposed to taste!

It is worth noting that I got three other flavors that are non-tobacco. Yes, I said it! I know, I know that may be hard for some of you to believe. The coolest part is that the other flavors are very, very authentic and I don't even mean that as a side note!

I can never be one thing, though I am not saying that I am not solely a tobacco vaper! I must repeat, Ahlusion is the on the ball! I am looking for another favorite vendor after a few have dropped off my list and I wanted to taste more to see what was really up with them. Plus, Alusion is near and I get free shippping! Go MIchigan!

AHA! A double negative Maybe some ummm...tobacco flavors magically turned into vanilla caramel spicy fruity caky soda mix already. Yeah! Tha's it! That's what happened!

Seriously, I'm pleased about your opinion re: Ahlusion though as I ordered a little after reading about them here!

Guess what Mann? The Devil Dog sold out in 18 hours! There's none left! Frack you Mann! (that's a nerdy joke, not actual anger) However they are setting aside the Blue Grass Burley for me since I haven't had it yet. Every flavor I've had from them, not all tobaccos, have been great. Oh and by the way.....

Thanks for the heads up, Mr.Mann. Previously, I had just taken a quick peek to find that juices were out of stock on the Ahlusion site, so I moved on. When I did have an order placed, I went for a stroll around their site and was thoroughly impressed. Absolutely THE BEST presentation I have run into yet. But that isn't the whole story. From the time of my order they have sent me no fewer than 5 update e-mails letting me know the status. Outstanding.

Oh, and by the way, I may just have my order in my hands today, which will make my week. Can't wait. Geez, I better get going with setting up my Phoenix this morning. Need to get ready... :2cool:

]Broke link homeluceboy. Ahlusion is on my top 5 list and solidified it's place damn near before I got their juice. Bluegrass Burley will be on my list too; I think maybe I will just go pick it up when it's ready. LOL

I think I may finally understand what you guys have been talking about with the 'atty killer' thing. I was hitting on some Blondie and Cold Infusion last night in my Phoenix and all of a sudden I started getting an E2 error on my ProVari. Hmmm, that never happened before. Lowered the voltage and it started working for bit longer, then another E2 error. It got to the point where it was barely usable, but still had continuity. Is this one of the killer symptoms you spoke of?

Unfortunately I'm not a Provari or Phoenix user, so I can't say for certain, but sounds perfectly plausible to me. I mostly use wick and wire rebuildable atomizers for NET's and before that I was using eGo-C's (which really don't work well with NET's), and I know an NET has done its worst because the vapor starts tasting a little burnt, acrid, and vinegary. When I take it apart, the wick is usually stained a deep brown and the coil is covered with caked-on sludge that smells like an ashtray. When you first notice it, sometimes it can be cleaned with repeated soaking and dry burns, but usually a hint of the burnt flavor remains. It's really persistent. If I were able to vape through the acrid, vinegary nastiness, I suppose I would get increasingly thin and whispy vapor. This can happen in a few days, hours, or puffs, depending on the juice and the current state of the atomizer. I've been running tests on NET's in Stardusts and I'm generally getting pretty good results, but in one case (I was using W2V Stockholm), the thing just stopped working prematurely with no warning. I don't know if it was the particular Stardust or the juice, but I suspect it was something similar to what befell your Phoenix, but I didn't notice much of a drop-off in performance beforehand -- maybe just a slight drop-off.

Wow. Floored, floored, floored. Now if all vendors would learn from Ahlusion, there would be no guessing at all, just more competition. They even came all the way full circle with a personal note on the receipt inviting sampling and the fact of shaking/steeping. The packaging of the products was way above the bar. Even the tape that they use to seal the little baggies has their logo. To me, there is no competition out there as far as professionalism. I'm more than sold without even tasting any juices yet LOL!

Alley mentions steeping and shake well in the note, but I'm not patient enough for steeping right now. BUT, I do have a new 10ml bottle waiting for just this moment. Time to play now. Here doggy doggy... :2cool:
