So, I guess 666 would kind of be the opposite like, "Ah, ah, ah that's hot!"

I saw that in your notes, but didn't think the peach flavor would make for a "classic" 555 experience.

On a side note, 555 always makes me smile. In Thai, the number five is pronounced "Ha." When Thai people want to text that they're laughing, they often use "555." So when I see 555 cigarettes or e-liquids, I think they're funny.

"Classic 555" goes nowhere near my lips.

Good afternoon NETizens! While I know there are NETs that use sweet and nutty flavorings, I don't recall seeing a NET that's marketed as a 555 e-liquid. Do any of you recall seeing one? It's entirely possible I've come across one and forgot about it. The reason I ask is that I'm dripping a synthetic 555 with my coffee and can't help but think, "You know, a NET version of this would be all kinds of awesome."

I went through notes and sites and cant find what I thought I had seen... I'll keep poking around and let you know if I see it. So far though, no memory jog has occurred.

I just got in some MVJ so I will be giving these and a few more offerings coming in a fair shot (Vaperite--my third crack at them; MOV--third time also, and if I can find a high nic NETv to go in on it with me, some more from HoL.). I will post my findings in the NETty (if any make it) thread before the end of the month.

Taking a page from CannedWolf, I think I will make a blog about which juices from each vendor get the "best of" nods.

This is funny, but just yesterday I was thinking the same thing, that I haven't seen any NET 555 liquids. I've only tried one 555 to date (MOV Smoky Mtn 555) and REALLY is one of my least favorite juices from a good vendor (I'm completely discounting the awful juices from certain other vendors I started out with), so I'm not sure if 555 just isn't for my taste personally, or if there are some that I would like, but it did have me wondering about making a NET 555 and seeing what I thought, and perhaps what others' thought. Anyone have any insight into what constitutes a 555 as far as flavorings go? Nutty, I get, anything specific or else I should know about for a possible attempt this weekend?

Making a 555 would be kind of like getting a date with an ugly woman that is frigid. You probably could but why?

Yeah you are probably right, I should stick with what I like I suppose. But 555s sure do seem to be pretty popular, so I was thinking that a NET 555 might not be so bad. Not necessarily good either though, so that plan will be put on hold for now at least. Thanks for saving me the effort johni!

I used MVJ's "Country Squire" NET mixed @ 25% with some AP and 1% each of Red Oak and TA. The resulting juice tasted of 555 that faded as it steeped into a very light nutty TB flavor. It impressed me enough to keep going back and tweaking it, getting some intriguing tastes by switching out the different concentrates, keeping the CS as a base. I added some HGN "Red" and it tasted close to "Patriot" which was one hell of a surprise.

Houston, we have a problem.... or more to the point, I believe I may have a problem.

I got some additional samplers from HHV and MOV today and a batch is coming from Plume Room... I got a few more from Ahlusion yesterday or the day before as well... and my ePipeMods sampler should be here mid next week. As of now, those are my pending juice orders...

I am now completely out of space in my box to store more samples.

With those orders included, it brings me to a relatively high number of juice samples somewhere in the steeping process. For 'fun' i decided to count. If I include the orders that are coming tomorrow and next week, I have 98 flavors which make up approximately 750ml of SAMPLES. This doesn't include orders for larger sizes that I want to keep on the roster... or the juice I had before I started sampling NETs (most of which are crap in comparison). (it does include the few that dont offer sample sizes for their NETs so, those are 15ml but samples nonetheless)

No, these are just samples (a handful of teas and fresh fruit/nut are mixed in there too).

Best part is most of them aren't ready to consume yet so, I am still largely stuck with my older juices for the next few weeks/months...

I might be a taster-oholic...

And to that I say, BRING IT! :D

It's been a fun trip so far and am looking forward to the next 98 (though, right away... I need more storage space first lol)

I get a bit of funkiness with GeJ... I've assumed it will pass once they steep for longer.

The funkiness I get when I describe a juice as funky gets stronger with time and don't steep out. I can't think of a juice with funk notes I had that didn't get funkier with age, which is what I prefer.

Funky may not be the best word, because it can be taken to mean different things to different people. For me it's not a negative or unintended flavor. It's a flavor note that many tobaccos naturally have that is like a musky earthiness. I've jokingly said dirty hippy, but I don't mean body odor, I mean like musky earthiness. I really like Bills use of dirty dirt and clean dirt. Funky in a good way to me means clean earthy dirt but with a heavy musk note. All the GeJ house brews that I've had has it to me except Fire Cured. It really is part of the GeJ signature to me and is either hinted at or pretty strong like very well aged Natural Perique.

Dadgummit! I say funky and funk is a good thang.

In related news--well, sort of--I am just loving Louisville from W2V. I don't have anything insightful to say, but it is exactly what I hoped. I hadn't had Louisville before, and I think that is the only W2V liquid (aside from Pure Smoke) that I haven't had. Louisville. Yes!

I think I have to adjust my position on QnJ being more pleasing than W2V. It's not that they don't have some that are more pleasing, but W2V holds nothing back and sometimes you just want it in all; and since I no longer smoke, this does me just fine. Thanks CW for setting me straight.

Aside from candy flavorings and tobacco, or other hybrids, the straight-up tobaccos that QnJ offers and essentially W2Vs whole line (Donnley's and Vapenstein) are 2 very impressive lines for those that seek unadulterated tobacco juices.

One thing that takes me over the top with W2V is that there is ZERO sweetness.

Damn straight. Not just a good thang, but one of my favorite thangs lol. I remember Natural Perique early in my NET experience. It had a light, subtle tobacco flavor to me until one day when it was aged I noticed something odd. Something on the lines of; what's this? This is kind of weird, it tastes almost... funky?? Wait, this is weirder, I think I may really like this?!

Did I mention Rich is in testing phase for a new Turkish NET release?

IMO, every NET vendor that doesn't have a Turkish or other Oriental juice should have one in testing phase. Way under-represented. I hope Rich has it ready by the time I make my first QN order.

I am going to have to sit it out. I am getting overwhelmed again by this dern forum and these fantastic juices we vape. It was so much easier when the hardest thing we had to do was to find a new vendor. I look forward to reading about it, though. Okay, okay! Dman, Bronze. Fine. Fine. I'll try it when it comes out. Sheesh. Twist my arm why don'tcha?

I've been eying Louisville for a while now and want to try London also so I just ordered. When Ahlusion puts the aros back up I may be about done with perpetual flavor testing.

Do it. Do it!

The coolest part of W2V is that there is no need even recommending them to 9 out of 10 vapers, but the ones that would dig it already have an inkling.
