BJ, it sounds like you might really benefit from an extra extract as it sounds like the flavour is balanced to your liking. There is a chance that tobacco impact will strengthen with a good steep reminiscent of the way it does in FVF - MOV and other such tobacco + 1 juices. My best guess would be that the tobacco needs time to steep but the flavouring added is already kicking its maximum impact right from the beginning. NET's almost always need a good steep but flavourings don't unless they are entirely organic.

Ok...

Went for the BS MV first. I had saved a brand new Killer a friend prepped and loaded up for me on a never used (to me) and massive EPM V1 18650 mahogany pipe. Glory, right? I dropped the battery in, secured the button...and before I even pushed it the button got super hot. I have no idea what this means but I did not even to fire it. I had to rush out of the office before I could check it out so grabbed the killer and tank to try on another device tonight. I hope the attie didn't short, because I left the juice at work so this tank is all I have for now.

Then I went for the Black Cherry on my new favorite pipe, gifted to me out of nowhere my an ECF friend. Cold maceration 18mg on a 3.7 v pipe with 1.8 oHm on the mini vivi nova.

I really like it. Definitely a difference between cherry and BLACK cherry and this juice gets it right. NETCOM signature smoothness and good balance. Almost too smooth for me so I will likely go with the heat next time around. The cherry is nice...very tasty and fresh, it is forefront but not overwhelming and leaves me wanting more which it should. I keep chasing that cherry flavor. This is a good thing, well balanced. The tobacco presence is...a bit weak. It seems like a base to this juice. For me, I want big time tobacco front and center with cherry weave and finish. Here the tobacco is just underneath. Actually, despite over all really liking this juice, I find myself wanting more flavor across the boards. Not even so much a different balance of flavor just MORE flavor. I seem like I am fighting to get a really full flavor out of this and so while I like what there is of it I want a hell of a lot more and so it is falling a bit flat :(. Overall I really like this and will vape it all day and into the night. Maybe it just needs to steep a bit to blossom in a more robust, full flavored juice? I hope so because twice the flavor plus a stronger tobacco punch would potentially launch this into a top 5 juice for me. Right now I am fighting too hard to taste this juice and it is really frustrating me...especially since what IS there is really good. Anyone else have similar experience or thoughts?

Coventry-Heat (Revisted), 70/30, 18mg

OK, I had a half milliliter of Coventry left so I rewicked a Phoenix RBA and gave it another go. The true flavor is back. The vanilla is light and I personally prefer it light. Adds enough flavor without being too rich (which vanilla tends to do). The cavendish/burley base is also mild. The burley seems more dominant to me. Burley tends to be that way. Very pleasant, indeed. This is a fine tasting vape with durability. When you're feeling overrun by a long day of heavy vapes (or want to start your day out slower), Coventry is an excellent choice.

Just my take folks. The next guy that comes along will think it's a head-exploder. :)

Hey Bronze, thanks for your new set of reviews after revisiting with Coventry! I'm glad that you seem to enjoy it so much! And a BIG thank you for taking the time to rewick your RBA after noticing the flavor had diminished! That's great to hear you we're able to confirm that it still has the flavor you were hoping for after all!

No thanks necessary Clay. I knew my atty had gone south as I was experimenting with Coventry. I've been working on that flavor for the better part of a week. I knew it was a winner and the RBA re-confirmed it. That was my fourth NETCOM flavor and I have five to go. I must say, it is obvious you put some thought (as well as effort) into your flavors. Each one has been distinct and of high quality.

I'll start another sample today and I'm also enjoying the nice feedback from the other NETCOM reviewers. Keep up the good work Clay!

Ok just got done dripping some of my BA, I definitely don't taste mango or vanilla. I even waited to try it until this morning before I vaped anything else. After reading that last review there has to be something wrong with me lol

I get Mango right off the bat. The vanilla is simply there to smoothe the edges, which unless it is a VANILLA juice is all it should do. The burley is front and center as the inhale progresses. Similar to how the maple and burley are balanced in A+ Malle Burley. This burley however, even in heat extraction, is smoother and more refined thn a+. Part of that is the vanilla and my guess is part of that is the cut each vendor uses. I like them both for what they are. My point here is balance and an example of how I feel this juice is stacked up and balanced. It is not a mango vape, it is a burley vape, and it would have been so easy to over vanilla or to let the mango steal the show, but nein. It is JUST RIGHT.

After this review by BJ, I am pretty sure I can be smug now about my blend LOL.

So have tried my samples, repeatedly, and have come to a conclusion...Evidently my palette is not as refined as most of you all.
Bear in mind never smoked a pipe or cigars and my blends were 5ml samples in 30pg/70vg...

Black Cherry...was really looking forward to this one and have sampled it the most but other then once getting a way background note of cherry (think hmm was that cherry i tasted) never got the cherry. Was really hoping for a nice slightly sweet flavor with a smooth tobacco and cherry flavor. I'll keep trying it to see if it/I ever get there.

Black Cavendish...get the flavor of a specific taste that don't really care for. Have had the taste before in other "tobacco" liquids but to me the taste is like what i think smoking hay would taste like. Just not a flavor I particularly care for.

Chris Blend...kind of torn. Parts of the flavors I like but then get that "hay-ish" flavor and kind of overwhelms the other flavors to me.
Big Spirit...not sure yet if this is for me.

Gold...I like this one

Coventry...I like this one

Dover Court...I like this one

Balkan...Was surprised but I like this one. Why surprised? Because this was the one added to fill the sample pack and was one of those ehh I'll give it a whirl. Glad I did. Nice rich flavor to this, not an adv for me but one I can enjoy in moderation.

Those are my take on the flavors so far and look forward to tasting them again in a bit to see if my taste change or they do ;)

All in all worth the money and will be ordering again.

BSMV - wow. This is exactly the kind of hit, balance, just whole package I was looking for from a fruit tobacco. Absolutely outstanding. I have to admit, despite going for a full 60ml I was excited but worried too. Mango is strong stuff that even can funk stuff up if not careful. I figured the vanilla would smoothe this out and even bind it to the tobacco, and given the balance in clay's other blends that sounded hopeful. But would this still be a tobacco first? Well...F yes. A dn good one too!!! Outstanding. There is something magical here...the mango seems like it is a quality of the tobacco itself, not an added ingredient. My other concern was vanilla dominance and we have seen that with oh so many juices. Nope, it is perfectly subtle and serves merely to bind the two into one fabulously singing note of quality tobacco. This is a really great tobacco vape that hits an net enthusiast the way he wants to be hit. Excellence.

2 questions:

1: So, was it "BA"?

2: Plan on ordering it again?

I'm glad others like my blend!

Hey Cramer, thanks for posting your initial thoughts on the tobacco eLiquids you received. Of course I wish you had liked them all, but am happy that at least a few of them you enjoyed and sounds like you might order again. Do let us know if some of those others get better with some steeping!

Clay, what I have found with the first four flaves I've sampled is they are all unique. It is unlike HHV where there are several flavors that kind of share similar flavor notes (ie., if you like one you'll like the others). So far, yours are all different. It casts a wide net (no pun intended) and can snag a lot of vapers. There will be many they might not care for, but there should be a few they do. But then, I've still sampled only four flavors so I'm having to do a lot of projecting here.

I just ordered today for the first time samples of Bombay, Chris' Blend and Gold, as well as a 15ml bottle of Big Spirit.

I plan to decant it a little to give it some air, before I do a few out-of-the bottle drips to try; and then let it steep for a few weeks, trying it out every week or so. That's the plan (which may change, lol).

The only other NET I've sampled before went through a radical, jeckyll-and-hyde transformation (from almost unvapable to sublime) between the time I opened the bottle and about 3 weeks later, so I'm ready to wait and give this NET juice a chance to shine. Thank you to Clay for answering my questions, looking forward to the package. :toast:

Clay has come up with a plan to take care of me and if I still can't taste the mango we will all know that it's just my wonky taste buds lol

Thanks again Clay! You didn't have to do any of what you did but once again have gone over and above. Top notch customer service and overall great vendor :D

Our takes on CB and BC are similar Anthony. I'm not a big nutty/caramel fan but it is a quality vape and for those who like that profile I'm certain they will enjoy Chris' Blend. It produces plenty of flavor and vapor. I also share your views on Black Cavendish. I enjoyed the smoky flavor from the beginning. It has a perfect sweetness level for my tastes. I expected it to get old after awhile and it didn't...it kept growing on me (because the sweetness was well balanced). I have more sampling to do but I will pick up a larger bottle of Black Cavendish to be sure.

I totally agree on black cav imusing the sweetness level and smoky element. The thing about it (and to me Coventry as well) is that they are not getting old at all!

I ADORE black cav

Just got on board what I think will be great. Got my order in just now.

Clay, I left a message... but may not be available when you are. On my way to see "The Band Perry" at my local Wal-Mart. The group is there signing the new CD (Pioneer). I'll be there with a bunch of screaming folks. Don't know how long I can take it.

As one who vaped Silverthorn and TN Cured exclusively, I can speak with authority that NETCOM will satisfy you far more than JC. :)

Bronze, I tried to PM you, but it said... you had to much junk in your trunk, and needed to empty it!! LoL!!

TN Cured or Domestic didn't really appeal to me, but Silverthorn got me on first vape. Have went through a lot of it since then; but of course, it really gunks up coils and atomizers. In the AGA-T2 (#400 SS Mesh + 32g Kanthal wire), I have to dry burn every 5ml. The design of the AGA makes it very easy to do. However, in a Protank (or something similar), it 's clogged up after 3ml. I'm hoping Clay's NET juice burns much better. I hear it does.

Which of Clay's NET juice do you think comes close to tasting like Silverthorn? I'm not looking for an exact match by all means, but something in the neighborhood.

Coventry - Heat, 70/30, 18mg

I'm just finishing up my 5ml sample of Coventry and have to say I am struggling trying to figure this one out. The flavor changed quite a bit from the first ml to the last ml. It started out as a pleasant, light vanilla flavor with a distinctive tobacco background. I get none of the vanilla now and it has transformed more into a medium cigar flavor. I'm convinced my atty has as much to do with it as anything. I use CE3 bottom coils to sample with. On occasion, they act up and tend to burn the juice. I can't say it has burned my Coventry because it doesn't taste bad. But I believe it knocked out the pleasant vanilla flavor I was experiencing in the beginning. And it was quite pleasant! I'll have to give this one another go at some point in the future. Even at its worst it was still good. :)

Advice: Stay away from CE3's. Great cheapy attys when they work but they're the moodiest attys ever marketed (they're small and simple and cheap and good for sampling...at least they have been). I think I'm going to deep six the ones I have. I've had enough of their antics.

Don't know about CE3's. I've not tried them. Currently, I'm using the Protank as my sample taster. I got 25feet of 2ml Silica Wick; 30g and 32b Kanthal for this very purpose. IF I end up liking the juice, then it graduates to the AGA-T2 (#400 SS Mesh @ 1.5 x 2.5 squares; and 32g Kan @ 3/4 wraps for 1.8 ohms).

Then it's smoke city after that! :vapor:
