Bronze, I tried to PM you, but it said... you had to much junk in your trunk, and needed to empty it!! LoL!!

TN Cured or Domestic didn't really appeal to me, but Silverthorn got me on first vape. Have went through a lot of it since then; but of course, it really gunks up coils and atomizers. In the AGA-T2 (#400 SS Mesh + 32g Kanthal wire), I have to dry burn every 5ml. The design of the AGA makes it very easy to do. However, in a Protank (or something similar), it 's clogged up after 3ml. I'm hoping Clay's NET juice burns much better. I hear it does.

Which of Clay's NET juice do you think comes close to tasting like Silverthorn? I'm not looking for an exact match by all means, but something in the neighborhood.

Don't know about CE3's. I've not tried them. Currently, I'm using the Protank as my sample taster. I got 25feet of 2ml Silica Wick; 30g and 32b Kanthal for this very purpose. IF I end up liking the juice, then it graduates to the AGA-T2 (#400 SS Mesh @ 1.5 x 2.5 squares; and 32g Kan @ 3/4 wraps for 1.8 ohms).

Then it's smoke city after that! :vapor:

Hey ed,

I enjoyed Silverthorn on its own and also blended 50/50 with TN Cured (The Red Oak version). Of course, both of those were 100% VG and might explain some of your clogging issues. I found the same as you...the Red Oak juices from JC required frequent cleaning. I moved on from JC when I found Heather's Heavenly Vapes. HHV still makes up 75% of my vaping. But I have found other NET vendors and am really enjoying what NETCOM (Clay) is doing. I just wish I had two mouths because there are a whole lot of great juices out here and not enough lungs to enjoy them all.

I cannot come up with a Silverthorn equivalent for you. The best advice I can give you is to sample a lot. I would be glad to help profile your preferences and lead you to some target juices that you might like including some offered here by Clay. Let me clean out the junk in my trunk and send me a PM.

Clay,

I was just playing around with a concept banner... didn't finish it but here is a start for the fun of it.

Wow I sure like that banner! How'd you build it? What program if you want to share?

Clay

PhotoImpact... used to be by Ulead and now it's owned by Corel... Of course, you are welcome to that one as is ( isn't quite the same size as your current one though ) or if you want some specific changes I'd be happy to try them for you... as I mentioned, I was just playing around with it.

It looks great though! Much better than the current banner I have below my signature on the forum for sure!

I've never used those programs, but have heard of Ulead and Corel of course. I mostly use Photoshop Elements for now (maybe someday can afford the full photoshop and illustrator package!), and am pretty happy with the Company avatar and stamp we designed for the pouches, and the website is, well, it's ok, but the banner I use here DEFINITELY needs improvement!

Well... I will probably continue to play with it some... if it ends up being something you like/want, you're free to use it as you like. My only other thought currently is to add a "flagpole" for the sign to hang from... but as mentioned, I was just goofin' off when I thought of it.

The sign with a pole might look great on the website, but I'm afraid the sig banner is as big as it is allowed as is, so keep that in mind! Adding a pole to the top of it would make the whole image less wide, and shrink the text, which is just perfect for now!

Thanks again,

Clay

Man you're making it tough to decide rdsok!

I've done more complex banners... the one I did for my own business is done in such a way that the width of the banner is dynamic and "stretches" in a manner of speaking. The site itself is kept clean and simple... but the banner concept was a bear to come up with. Of course, I'm also not dealing with an online store either, just a multipage ad for the business describing services etc.

Vendor: Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com

Juice: 3-Crown (Heat Extracted) 70/30 Pg/Vg

3-Crown is considered to be the signature extract at Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com and with good reason.

Sample Juice Deliver System: Igo-L 9 wraps 32 gauge kanthal (Micro-coil) 2.4 ohms 4.2 volts.

The site describes 3-Crown as follows:

Our flagship cigar e-liquid, 3-Crown is a full-flavored yet smooth, medium-bodied tobacco vape made from a cigar using an aged Dominican tobacco filler wrapped in an Ecuadorian tobacco leaf.

Clay is well versed at picking the flavour profile and spectrum his cigar and pipe blends fall in and the description is spot on. 3-Crown has now reached its 4th week of steeping. Initially, in what I consider its pre-steeped stage it tasted a little light on the palette, the flavors were diffuse but it promised to be a mature into a fine vape. I felt that initially the tobacco tasted on the lighter to medium end of the spectrum. As it matures it's getting bolder and gathering depth. The flavour is fuller, medium bodied and it is also carrying some darker, bolder notes with some grassy undertones. It performs like it's namesake. It is more a layered, multi-faceted liquid with some light, medium and darker notes and seems to grace the palette with a broad brush of cigar notes. The inhale is smooth yet rich, medium to dark tobacco. The exhale is oaky, latakia-esque and medium bodied, accurate to the makers description. I'm sensing burley, virginia and something darker, maybe fire cured or latakia. There is plenty for the cavendish lovers and vanilla lovers in NET.com juices but this, the signature liquid has neither cavendish tobacco or vanilla or any other corollary flavours going on. It is it's own genre on the site and complements the entire cadre of cigar and pipe blends. This is a no nonsense cigar vape. There is no flavor additives or naturally emanating flavours outside that of rich layers of tobacco.

I have yet to try many of the NET.com liquids in their more mature state but as I first predicted, what I am trying amongst my complete sampler set from the site are now tasting fuller, richer, more complex and more authentically tobacco. 3-Crowns is quickly becoming my favorite amongst favorites right across the board from all vendors. I had some concerns that it might not develop into a full rich tobacco in its infancy but that concern is quickly diminishing now. 3-Crowns is the real deal. A real NET connoisseurs vape.

As a cigar NET lover this liquid satisfies me three ways to Sunday. The exhaled vapor wafts in the room and leaves a genuine aroma of a good rich cigar. In the mouth, it is almost a guilty pleasure and the after taste lingers on well after I've stopped vaping it. This is stogie personified and recreated in a magical form.

Whether this is an all day vape is yet to be explored for me but I have vaped it solid tonight. I have sampled it in a standard 510 German VKS atty and some of the nuances and layers are a little lost. It really performs best in a well built RBA/RDA. It's worth trying in a protank and I think it most likely would be well represented in tanks.

This is a stellar juice. It's taken 4 weeks to get there for me but it is shining brightly right now. Can it continue to steep into something better? It really doesn't need to be any better than it already is but after 4 weeks it has only improved more and more and may still have some way to go.
