Placed an order a while back (563) and am hoping it arrives before I become a non-essential" employee this Friday. Plan on taking off for points unknown for a couple weeks or till I can go back to work.

Really looking forward to trying your concoctions Carbon! I ordered 9 different samples:) Have enjoyed following the start of a small business.

I placed my order back on Thursday October 4 and still haven't received a shipping notice. I am now out of BS, and black cav...and dangerously low on Balkan

And I still haven't tried uncle BJ's...

I am trying not to freak out

... And it's your own dang fault for waiting so long before you ordered it also... you should be ashamed... :

PS... Ordered mine on the 3rd and it got here on Friday the 11th, so yours should be there soon then, perhaps Monday as a guess...

Cross posting this from the NT thread...

I'm dripping Uncle BJ's Blackberry Burley 70/30 Regular flavor and heat extract 12mg, Empire 100 with a Kick at 10W ( 18500 ) and an IGO-W 1.2 ohms on cotton wick. Nice tang of the blackberry but not overly so, and a definite in your face pipe burley. There's another tobacco in there, maybe latakia? Not sure yet. Tastes like a nice pipeful of flavored burley.

I actually got my order which included BJ's Blackberry Burley ( along with most of the other single varietals ) on Friday but was busy at work and then later that evening... Saturday I had a lot of running around and chores to get through... so I didn't get to vaping any of them until tonight and at that... just started a little bit ago so this will be short.

The BJ's Blackberry Burley certainly does have that smokey flavor that is reminiscent of the same in a Latakia but not the rest of the flavor notes ( that don't sit well with my palette ) ... just the smokeyness portion. So I can see how you'd think Latakia just on that alone... I believe that is the only other tobacco flavor I've vaped with that type of smokey notes to it. The Burley comes off to me as brown leaves... not a hay like or grass like flavor note. The Blackberry is actually as I had first invisioned it when BJ had suggested it... In previous reviews I felt they were saying it wasn't as sweet as I had thought it was going to be, I guess they were just trying to say it isn't an overly sweet one... but a natural fruit sweetness. For me... the balance between the Burley and Blackberry is perfect... the berry is just behind the burley in strength so supports it very well.

I've had, in a real pipe tobacco... both cherry and apple blends. So far, I haven't had a vape duplicate those accurately... While I haven't had a real blackberry one ... this is what I'd expect it taste like.

The Fire Cured Burley is the same as the one used in the Blackberry one... So just subtract out the fruit portion I mentioned and you've got it. It is a full rich flavor, not quite as dark as say A+'s BGB... but close but with a different type of burley flavor than BGB... so if you have one, you aren't duplicating the flavor with this one... it's a different type of burley notes to it. If you have another vape that lacks a bottom end to it... adding a bit of this will certainly help round it out. Where BGB is a bit more earthy... FCB is a bit more brown leafy in flavor.

The Air Cured Burley seems to be of the same type of leaf as the FCB but without the smokey notes, not quite as dark and I think a little bit smoother.

Overall for me... Blackberry Burley is ready to stand on it's own but certainly could be used to add flavor to another vape that may have some brighter tobacco's that need some bottom end added to them. The Fire Cured and Air Cured Burley's are prime candidates to mix with others but I don't think I'd vape them by themselves. I actually can't wait to try them with the Virginia, Perique and Turkish one's I've yet to vape.

Raymond, I like how you included the cold/heat Vs device type combinations in your review. That is a lot of combinations to sample and make distinctions. The concise 5-minute video kept my interest. Info-packed!

Nice job. :)

Me too, I was just going to always stick with heat but now I want to try the cold too. Awesomely informative review.

Sorry BJ! And everyone else waiting on their orders. We shipped a bunch Friday and Saturday, but for some reason the website isn't working right and won't update the status of the orders. All orders through the 5th were mailed no later than Saturday, and the orders through the 6th and partially the 7th are ready to be mailed, but just found out the post office is closed today, so they will be in tomorrow's mail with whatever additional orders from the 7th forward we can fill tonight and in the morning!

Thank you all for your patience, and we will be caught up shortly.

How ironic, the celebration of the man responsible for bringing tobacco to the attention of the world is now delaying my enjoyment.

Yesterday I was excited to receive a batch of liquids from NET.com. This order consisted of all of the 6 varietals along with the Pumpkin Pie Net (haven't tried it yet), coconut cavendish and Uncle BJ's Blackberry (kudos Mr BJ) and three samplers I was not expecting but delighted to see being the Bright leaf apple, Mango Vanilla (Is this Boroscopes version?) and Maple syrup. Being out of the loop for a while I didn't even know these new liquids were in production!

I have sampled most of the varietals and I have to say I am not disappointed at all, in fact I am quite amazed at how good a job Clay has done. The smoked latakia, Fired Cured Burley and Perique are amongst my favourites but they are all very good and it will be interesting to see how they develop with some steeping.

The smoked latakia is indeed a fine smokey flavoured intense vape and the fired cured burley is equally intense. Some other liquids out there are derived from smoked or fired cured tobacco sources but what impresses me about these two powerhouses is the smoked latakian genuinely tastes like something that is smokey and when I say smokey I don't mean that generic sensation of an ashy liquid, I mean you can actually taste the smokiness as if it were capturing the essence of a BBQ. Similarly, the fired cured burley also tastes like a tobacco that has undergone a fire cure. It reminds me of a campfire.

I will withhold too much commentary at this stage as the liquids may need some time to steep though I must say these varietals seem to already be steeped. If they steep even more I can't imagine how good they will be because they are great already.

I must mention the perique! It is brilliant. It compares favorably to the other two vendors who sell a good quality perique and may indeed rival those. There is a real genuine flavour of perique in this liquid.

I'm going to slightly revise what I said about Air Cured Burley ( and therefore possibly the FC also )... When I went to bed, I still had about 5 drops left in my IGO-L of the Air Cured... So when I got home early, I thought I'd finish it off... I think I may have rushed my taste testing a little too much.

The Air Cured is a fine vape all on it's own and not just something I'm going to consider for mixing ( which I am going to do )... Since the Fire Cured tastes almost the same with the included smokeyness and a touch harsher... I expect I'll think the same of it as well.

I loaded up some of the Choctaw Perique tonight... Is this stuff legal? I think I want to put some into everything now...

It's dark, earthy, rich and oh so smooth. The fermentation brings such a nice funk to it that helps give this a character that is very entertaining to the palette. Whether you want to vape it on it's own, or mixed with other tobacco's ( fruits or almost whatever )... this is great stuff.

I've yet to taste the Sun Cured Turkish or the Flue Cured Virginia.... but after I get through those, I can't wait to try mixing some of these up and to see what happens.

I absolutely love the Perique. As soon as I am not too busy I will try and write a proper review.

In short, it's almost like a slightly sour cavendish. I am finding it actually rivals the other versions of Perique out there but I might have to re-sample that one to make a fair comparison.

I am loving the Smokey Latakia and Fire Cured Burley. They are every bit as good as I thought they would be. They are both intense and profound vapes and as in your face as other powerhouse pipe's out there including Devil Dog.

In fact, these are some of the best pipe tobaccos I've ever had. Great work Clay, though with your amazing customer service, pro-active business model and avante garde edge on growing market, I didn't really expect anything less.

Initial impressions of Bright Leaf Apple and Cedar River Maple - The apple is definitely front and back of this liquid with the tobacco impact moderate. With a bit of steeping the tobacco will intensify a bit but the liquid is well balanced and plenty of natural and organic tasting apple flavour for those who like a bit of fruit in their juice. These are in unsteeped states I am guessing but already taste great.

The maple fuses with the tobacco seamlessly and is definitely present but without being overly sweet. Maple is not really my thing but I really like this liquid.

It's really late and I've been working my ... off so I apologize for my scattered, basic review.
