I was anxiously wasting for my order and it turns out that my tanks got tainted with plasticky smell possibly due to the replacement coils. I ended up wasting my samples of Big Spirit and Gold - I had to dump them!

I need to wait for the new tanks to continue vaping. I probably also had issues with with pinched wicks due to the placement of the silicone sleeves on the coils (Triton tank). I think that's why when I vaped 3-Crown, I was getting harsher than expected TH. On the bright side, more steeping time for these goodies.

For a quick / easy stock off-the-shelf setup --- one of these: $37.21 INNOKIN iTaste SVD Telescoping Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Mod / Battery Compartment at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

A bunch of these: Kanger Protank II - 101 Vape

The sky's the limit but decent juice needs a baseline of at least half decent hardware.

Enjoy.

Just received an SVD from SlowTech FastTech this afternoon. Took 15 days but it finally made it.

I think you'll really like it. I keep mine always handy on a workbench for my morning coffee and vape time before heading to work. Always just does the job with no fussing (very important in the morning lol).

I just piddled with it for about 15 minute after I got it. Seems like it will be a nice mod. I had a VAMO I used as a back up for my Provari and served as a knockin around PV too. But the VAMO finally crapped out so I got an SVD this time. The thing is tall and looks like...

Epipes and epipes only for me.

My NETCOM got here today. Shipped to the wrong address so the wife intercepted amd opened it but luckily she's on Vicodin after back surgery and I am not sleeping on the couch.

I cannot WAIT to get into the Uncle BJ!!! I got a rig all cleaned and ready to go. Just gotta check some teen homework and get the babies to sleep.

I've run into that problem myself. Now I give all new clearos and heads a good rinse before using them.

I've found that when using NETs in my T2s I've got to give it a tilt before vaping to make sure juice gets to the coil, even though the wicks are long. Haven't had many dry hits since I started doing that.

Thanks for pointing to these, I looked into the Protank II before but I haven't explored batteries that much. I paid $30 for Triton VV Battery -- For $37 this Innokin seems to be much more versatile and the battery is changeable too. I might make this a X-Mas / New Years gift for myself :)

For vaping NETs how would Kanger Protank II compare to Kanger T2, similar taste but less wicking hassles? More chances of leaking or no?

Thanks.

Thanks! I'm coming up with a 8-10 step procedure for cleaning the new tanks and the coils, soaking in PGA, dry burning etc... I think it'll come to a point that I might as well start using RDAs, rebuildable tanks!

I'v been very careful about tilting too. But I think one day, both the new coils were tainted with something and I also pinched the wicks so I got this mother load of terrible taste which will haunt me for the rest of my life :).. I'll also start making small ( 1 mm x 1 mm) notches in the silicone sleeve so it won't pinch the wicks.

Sorry to people out there, taking space with my "equipment malfunction" stuff. I'm just trying make Clay and Monica's juices as enjoyable as possible :)

So I dipped into my signature blend tonight. Uncle BJ's Blackberry Burley.

I will start with this. NETCOM Fire Cured Burley is something special. If for some reason you don't have an interest in the blackberry (and it is itself a must try) then be sure to order the fire cured burley straight up because it is friggin outstanding...a legitimate, authentic "smoking" experience. Wow.

The blackberry burley is exceptional. I think it can steep and will gain depth, but it is pretty wicked right out of the mail. It is exactly what I hoped for. The blackberry is just right. It is there, but not over the top. It works from underneath to elevate some charachter elements of the burley. It reads neither sweet nor tart, just it's essence used solely to round out and add depth to the tobacco.

I LOVE this juice. A dream come true.

Fifteen days, that sounds about right from China to the US. That's about how long I usually have to wait for orders from the US. China to Thailand usually within a week to ten days. :2cool:

You get fresh batches premium e-juice "handcrafted in USA" only; of course it takes time.
In comparison Flavourart(Italy) needed 45-60 days per order ;-)

I haven't tried the T2 but I never had much luck with top coil clearos. One benefit of the Protank II, is the pyrex / no glue tank. No plastic taste. As a bottom coil, there is always the risk of leaking but I haven't had any issues and I use 70 / 30 mixes, which are pretty thin. Performance is very good and it has the grab and go aspect. Fill it and take with, no issues.

I rebuild my own heads so I haven't tried a stock head in a while but I'd stack the performance up against a lot of "average" typical genny builds and most genni's aren't really pocketable.
