Nauilis Mini Stainless replacement tank

Hello,

I dropped by Nautilis mini the other day and broke the glass, I order a new stainless replacement tank.

is the quality as good as the standard glass tank that comes with them?

Another question, are there fake replica Nautlis mini tanks?

I bough a new one at a B&M place in town to use until the replacement tank arrives, but it does not feel as solid as the one I got form their website. Like when i turn the air valve thing there is a lot of play and generally feels cheap. or is it possible the cheaped on on the manufacturing or something, im not bashing them cause i really like the first one i got but there is def a differences in quality.

There are clones out there but if you check the code on the back of the box on the internet it will let you know if what you have is authentic. As far as the stainless tank I can't comment on that I don't have one for my full or mini.

I was wondering about these too. Saw the hollowed version, but it doesn't look like you can fully disassemble them?

Have the stainless tank on my nauti mini for 3 weeks now. A little harder to fill if you got eyes like mine,but the quality and performance is the same with some peace of mind.

I'd recommend the stainless mesh tank as well. I'm sure by now at least one or two clones are out there, but it's pretty easy to grab as they're about 9 bucks authentic.

I have both the mesh replacement, and the T replacement tanks, i love them both, i find they perform just as well, just a little harder to fill and see your juice level. My only complaint is, they are a pain in the ... to clean.

I haven't dropped my mini yet thankfully, but it has only been about 2 weeks. If it happens I will probably go with one of the mesh replacement too.

It amazes me the number of clones out there. One of my coworkers got duped with a clone buying a nauti full size. But then again he bought it at a flea market for a discounted price, so it really should not come as a surprise.

oops, hate to drop my PV's and wish they didn't roll off flat surfaces, not a problem when at home so much but out and about!!

The mini or full size nauti's metal jackets appear to be the same thickness of glass inside. I have both the mesh and mini T but haven't used either one yet! Bought them on a whim and think I prefer the Pyrex glass tanks for ease of filling and having as little cheap metal in contact with my juices as possible! If you look inside the mesh tank there is an attachment system for the inner glass tank that looks sketchy to me.

As for the fakes question, as said already there is the scratch sticker if you think you got stiffed. I avoid most clones and am fearful of vaping metal filings from badly machined products.

Just a heads up in case it matters to you. I have the "hollowed out" spare tank for my mini and it has less airflow. The "chimney" is significantly more narrow on the metal tank. I got the metal one for work but ended up sticking with the glass because it has the better draw. Not sure if this applies to the other metal versions.

oh yeah,wow you're right...big difference and the chimney is shorter too on both the mini T tank and the full size metal tank! The draw seems pretty good to me though having just switched mine over after a thorough cleaning (since it was new).

I can also confirm that the same is true for the full size replacement metal tank.


Mmm, a case of form over function you think? I haven't tried to use the full nautilus replacement.

Has anyone else tried them and found the draw more restricted?

The main reason for buying these tanks was not fear of breakage so much as the awful top design of the Nautilus range; I like the symmetry better with metal tank mod.

I actually just got the Nautilus T Tank for my MVP two days ago and I love it. I didn't really notice any draw difference between it and the original glass one, I can see it being a touch more difficult to clean, although, just run it under the tap, shake it dry, blow it drier and q-tip the rest, that's all I did. One thing I did change, which personally seems like it gave an even better draw and smoother hit (although it may all be in my head lol), I replaced the drip tip with a wide bore glass tip. Don't know why, definitely less restriction from chimney through the drip tip, but I don't know if that actually makes a difference.

Yeah it's a pretty serious tip haha. I've only been vaping for about 2 weeks consistently now and I already have probably 6-8 different drip tips. I like the performance of the Nautilus tanks but unlike a lot of other tanks around, there isn't much option for giving it much of a different look. That's why I got the T tank, my pyrex one is still perfect, just looking to separate it from a crowd a bit. As for the drip tips, that just feels like a cheaper way to make it yours .

My curiosity won out and loaded on my other metal tank for the full size nauti. Been using both that and mini since yesterday and I am both satisfied with vapor production and flavor. imho the air flow with the more restricted chimney is still largely sufficient for the device.

One thing though, I didn't ask what you are running these tanks on, VV VW ego etc? I have found the bvc likes some good power and vape between 4.2 and 5 volts (11 to 15 watts)

What have you found with yours, did you try again?

loving the new look, kinda like owning a new atty!!

I didn't break my Nautilus Mini glass but I did replace it with the Metal Lattes tank, and I did notice the draw being a little tighter with the largest hole but not enough for me to change it back out. It seems to hold a little less liquid too. But I like using it when I'm out.

I have totally found that the BVC's love to be cranked up. They seem to preform so much better at a higher wattage/volts. My Silo with BVC I'm running at 13.5 watts with a thick juice and NO dry hits ever and my Mini I'm running at 4.7V with a lighter liquid.

I love my Aerotank Mega too, but I can't seem to push it past 10 watts without it tasting metallic or burnt, even with the same juice. I'm having great luck with the BVC's.
