nautilus and version 2 differences in a nutshell

Ordered the nautilus 7mm tank version from okc.... doesnt say its v2 so assuming its not....

Besides not being able to use 3mm wick what are the differences in a nutshell?

version 1 has a channel on each side of the ceramic, version 2 has one channel running down the side with the other side channel running down the metal ceramic housing.
With version 2 the ability to ground the NR wire is with this metal channel.

So is the v2 a noticeably significant upgrade or just ironed out a kink and they perform the same?

They are essentially the same, V1 is my preference as I enlarge the ceramic channel with a Dremel like tool

Ability to have a larger wick size is a big plus.

Awesome... thanks man... i have no problem getting the dremel out to widen the channel.

Will I be dremeling just metal or ceramic too? Any precautions with grinding ceramic?

Ceramic only, slow goes it, eye protection.
make them 3 to 3.5 mm wide
