Nautilus coils (old and new) ... Am I the only one???

Ok so I have loved my Nautilus' for a long time now, after having such a hard time finding a tank I can actually use (other than carto tanks), but there is one thing I've noticed, even with the new BVC, they don't last ME long! I've tried the Kanger Aerotank and for a while, I switched to those bc of the SubOhm coils, but went back to the Nautilus to try to new coils. So here is how this goes for me... The Nautilus BVC hands down tastes better, it's more stable and the flavor is better, with the Kanger I get more dry hits, the flavor is more muted, but I get more vapor (with the SubOhm coils, duh! lol) and the coils tend to last longer.

Most of the reviews I've seen, ppl say the Kanger coils DON'T last long. I don't get even a week out of my Nautilus coils and that seems low compared to what others are saying. Yes I have a sweet(ish) juice preference (nothing compared to what it USED to be) so I know that plays a role, I run (at this moment) 1.6 Ohm coils at 9.5 Watts on a Vapor Shark DNA 30 (although I just pushed it up to 10 bc the flavor and vapor production is better, of course). So is this typical? 3-5 Days max?

I'm on my second week using the BVC in a Sigelei v5 at 1.8 ohm coil running them between 9.0- 10.5 watts depending on the thickness of the juice. I have two of the Minis and the one I use for fruit or menthol I was on day 8 before I changed coils and that was primarily because I was testing flavors and thought "why not?"

I soaked the BVC in water over-night and let it dry for a couple of days. Put it back in and all was cool again. I'm now on day 10 with it.

The other Mini with the heavy tobacco or coffee juice I had to replace after 3 or so days (others have had better luck with thicker juices.)

I had a couple of the regular Kanger tanks before using the 2.0 ohm coils at 4-5 volts. They'd last me over a week but, I'm really enjoying the Nautilus more because of the greater flavor.

Yeah buddy you ain't alone. I get four or five days max out of the coils before they die a slow death.

lol Well I guess it just depends then. Most of my juice is 50/50 or 40/60 (PG/VG). I just was hoping maybe I was doing something wrong lol.

I'm using one going on 10 days now. But admittedly I don't vape it full time. Still keep going back to the awesomeness of my Kayfun which still nudges out the BVC in my opinion. (Plus the coils are practically free on these things).

I got a week out of my first one - 4 days out of my 2nd one in my sweet juice tank. I'm OK with 4 days. The flavor is great. It's less than 1$ a day. I'll order a small fry instead of a large fry at lunch tomorrow to make up the difference

I'm on day three of my first coil and it's still going strong, five flavors later. These BVC coils give you fantastic flavor, I can taste flavors in my juice that I couldn't from my Kanger MPT2. I'm gunna have to get another Nautilus lol.

Have you tried the 1.8 ohm BVC? I'm getting 2 weeks out of mine running it at 4.5 volts on a Provari and 11 watts on a ZNA using fruit flavors with 30PG/70VG and I chain vape.

Running 10-15 watts on a 1.8ohm BVC and getting 2 weeks before having to do a deep cleaning in my U.S. cleaning machine and then blowing out the excess moisture...and re-using.

Now, How many Ml are you getting through per Head before replacing?

My first BVC, 6 days 6ml/day at 11-13 watts, mostly 50/50 juice with other juices higher VG%. Taste and vapor is outstanding.

Differences between Kayfun and Russian 91% and the Nautilus BVC are not different enough in taste or vapor for worthy discussion. I can buy a lot of coils for the $60-$70 difference while not having to make new coils and rewick.

As long as Aspire keeps high quality replacement atomizers on the market the BVC is worthy.

MY first 1.8 coil in my mini is still working great after 3 weeks and about 70ml of juice used. I have another 1.8 coil in my regular nautilus that is on two weeks and about 30ml used.

I got about 10 days out of mine letting it have a vodka bath now. There is far too many variables to predict how long they will last. How do you break in your coil? How many watts do you run it at? What juice and what percentage are you using? What is the pg vg ratio? What is the nicotine level? How fast and how hard do you draw on you tank? Do you prime it after a few draws. etc... For me I am not smoking so I am WINNING

I've tried both the 1.8 and 1.6. I got the 1.6 recently, but only used the 1.8 before.

Havnt had a BVC last longer than 7 days, averaging only 5days. But as Crxess points out, I am blazing through liquid. Although I am not getting the duration out of these coils that others do, I am pretty satisfied with the quality of flavor and vape, and I am quite happy to replace them every 5-7 days.

that's a lot of questions lol. How are you supposed to 'break in' your coils? 9.5-10 watts, G2 Mr. Cookie... YUM! 40/60... 6mg... not hard, long and slow lol... I do prime often... and I DO agree with that!!!
