I don't get it?! Why does my tank continue to leak and gurgle all day. It makes vaping VERY frustrating at times. I always make sure the chambers are clean and dry however the damm thing keeps leaking and gurgling its sooo annoying. Liquid keeps leaking from the air hole, yet I make sure to clean it out all the time.

Another thing I have noticed is every time I attach the coil to the bottom piece, when ever I re open it up later, its attached to the other side where the liquid goes in. Is that supposed to happen??

I had the issue at times when I was using the BDC coils, since I've moved to the BVC coils I haven't had the issue.

At times I've had the coil unscrew from the tank side and not the base side. I simply reinstall it when I reassemble it in the base side.

Try taking off the base and blowing through the tip to clear any moisture out. I also have had to remove the coil, place the air adjustment on the largest opening and blow through the air hole. Then I follow it up with a q-tip in the base and reassemble. That cleared it up for me.

Drifts,
I get the coil staying attached to the tank side chimney area as well. Happens about half the time. Try tilting the Nautilus upwards when you vape it at the first sign of a gurgle, that usually will stop it for me. What battery are you using and what wattage. Does this happen when the coil is still new? Mine has never leaked out the air hole, that has to be caused by some sort of failed seal. Was this issue from day one of using the tank?

edit: You may also just be over tightening the top part.

The coil being stuck in the chimney does happen, I have one nautilus that requires me to remove the coil with pliers.

The leaking and gurgling may be a bad coil, or something wrong with the tank itself.

I stand by the reliability of my nautilus, but have had a few issues with one particular tank.

I have it as my backup tank... I will use the glass, drip tip or whatever parts off it I may need so its not a total waste.

Taking it apart, cleaning it and trying a new coil is about all you can do.

plus you can push out the bottom spring pin in the nautilus which really lets you get it clean and dry.

Bottom spring pin? Is this located at the bottom of the base? How do I remove this? I notice that the bottom of the base has liquid in it that can never fully be dried out. There is a little circle at the bottom encased in a ring of liquid that not even a qtip can remove. I've tried washing it out and using a blow dryer to dry the excess liquid in the bottom but it continues to re-occur. Even some cotton on the qtip got stuck in the bottom ring and it was such a pain in the ... to remove it.

No matter how hard I tighten the bvc coil into the base it always ends up attached to the tank part when I remove the base to refill.

I'm using a Provari P3 for my battery. Vaping at 14.6watts. Hasn't happened in the beginning but getting progressively worse.

When refilling close the air holes take apart the tank then refill - Change coil if necessary - Finger tight when screwing in the coil don't wrench it but make sure its all the way in.
Screw the atty back on - air holes are still all closed have a look to make sure. Tighten it till the tank section meets the metal base.
Turn it right side up and put it on the smallest air hole then take a couple of draws without firing it.
Leave it for a couple of minutes select your preferred air hole then vape away.
Make sure your connections are all good. Can fire it and blow through an air hole to see vapor come out the top.

If it gurgles after this just go to a sink turn it upside down and fire it blow through an air hole see if any liquid comes out.

After i started doing it this way i never had any problems with the nautilus.

Every leaky Nautilus I have seen was leaking because of user error.

That is, after the supply of BDC's ran out locally.

That spring is between the bottom plate and the 510 connector plate. (Don't try to disassemble it this far, you'll wreck the atty)

when it floods alot of juice is still present in that space. Rinse the whole base out with water, dry and try again.

The only time the coils come out in the ones I've seen still attached to the chrome plated brass chimney (switched to Kayfuns now) is when they are not hand tight in the bottom, not inserted with the base OFF the battery OR the tank top is over torqued...

this is a very very very forgiving tank but should be treated like the glass tank it is.

Welcome to Ecf ok on my BVC what causes it to leak is improperly aligned atomizer to top cap easy fix this all so solves 99% of atomizer getting stuck in chimni ok drain juice take the bottom off clean and remove atomizer dry bace in side qtip works great do not use it on atomizer ok check the white seal for damage or lint were atomizer seals in to bace do not add juice put your mini back together tighten the atomizer in to the base
Buy hand tight now start the bace back in to the tank screw back in till it touches the bace seal still lose now losing the cap about 4 turns .snug up the bace do not over tighten now tighten top cap good and tight buy hand I use a towel to hold the glass do not hold buy the bace ok remove bace refill your tank with juice I place the tank on my thumb and hold down on bace with two fingers do not over tighten now install on your .mod do not use tank to tighten use the bace only or you will over tighten your tank to bace sorry I am not good with writing things out

When I received my first two Nautilus', They weren't easy and I got frustrated. I focused on my rebuildables. About a month later I came back and they work near perfectly. I occasionally get a gurgle, but I just fire the button a few times without taking a draw and the juice burns off. Twice a week, I think from carrying it poorly.

Really like my Nauties, better for one the run than others. Larger tank and minimal problems.
