So I bought a nautilus Mini, got it in the mail, filled her up, waiting about 10-15 minutes for it to saturate the wick, primer puffs too!

And all I got was Dry, burnt tasting, flavor muted, gross hits.... Like it was a HUGE disappointment, so I switched to the other coil head provided, it was a little little bit better, still hardly any flavor and dry as can be...

So what do I do?

Using a half charged Ego-T battery, It's an authentic Nautilus mini, 50/50 VG PG, And thinner clear juice.

The battery doesnt have VV/VW , still waiting on my battery for my Hana Modz clone

Hmm, so you're obviously not overpowering it and the juice shouldn't be an issue.

What airflow setting are you using?

Only thing i can think of is to move to a smaller airflow hole to try increase the amount of vacuum generated inside the chamber with each draw, thereby improving the wicking (hopefully).

Also maybe try removing and reinstalling the coil, making sure the coil is only 'snug' in the base, for some reason i feel like over-tightening the coil in the base caused more dry hits on my mini, when i still had it.

I always put a few drops of juice on a new coil until it just starts to come out the holes it flows into... proves they are clear and then I screw it into the base. But I've not been completely pleased with the Nautilus in either form (gurgles, floods, leaks and I have read and taken all the advice). Sometimes it works really well but often enough it doesn't. The new BVC coils seem to like 13.5 watts where the BDCs like less.

It's crushed ceramic woven into a tiny blanket that snugs up around the vertical coil with a micro screen on top. Every time I vape them I think about that crumbly ceramic but it performs so well that I keep on vaping.:)

Mandy, mine never taste burnt. For some reason you are not getting juice flow to the coil. Did you manually drip some juice down the coil barrel and watch it ooze out of the bottom holes?

I had the same issue. I bought a 5-pack of BVC 1.8ohm for my nautilus mini and every one in the pack had a horrible metallic taste. I emailed the company I purchased them from for suggestions and while I was waiting for a return email, I read, and read, on ECF an looked on youtube for what I should do. I was panicking because I only had one set up and had only been vaping again for a short while. I did not want to give in and go buy any analog's.

Luckily, I had purchased them from a great business and he sent me a new pack and I sent him back the ones that tasted so horrible so he could look into it more. After trying EVERYTHING suggested and nothing helped, the outcome was considered to be a quality issue. ...It can happen, even with the best of products

Since then I have purchased numerous more and they have been great so far.
