Hey guys

This question is for all the owners of a nautilus mini, i currently purchased one after a lot of people rave about them for flavour and vapour production, but i have to say coming from a rda/rba background i am left very disappointed the draw is so tight even on the largest hole and flavour seem muted. i cant see what the big deal is and even with the new heads i think its going to be one of the cartos that just sit on the shelf and get retired very quickly

any advice or help would be great on what i can do to improve the experience

regards

Richard

Not much to tell you - it's a step down from the RDA experience.

They're great little tanks for general purpose use and considered (by most) to be a huge improvement over protanks and the like. But, compared to a hand-built dual setup with wide open air, well, that's not really a fair fight for what sounds like your vape style.

The Atlantis, OTOH, does get some decent vapor, with many being satisfied with the flavour, and the afc opens up considerably more than the nauti.

Hey man. I have a mini nautilus. I've had it for about 6 months. To me, it was an upgrade from my evods, evod2's and my mini protank3. compared to those, it is a massive improvement in flavour, and vapour. When i first bought it i was a constant mouth-to-lung hitter, and had it set to the second smallest airflow hole. As i got to know it more, i actually found myself more comfortable with the next hole up. I started experimenting with lung inhales (which at first i really didn't like) on the largest airflow, but would usually knock it back down a notch after.
I ran mine on a vision spinner 2 at first, then quickly upgrading to an MVP2 for the last few months, which was fine. Felt like it always suited its max output at 11 watts though.
2 weeks ago i decided to go and buy a better box mod, so now i have the Cloupor mini 30. 30 Watts and removable battery. Massive upgrade to the MVP. I also bought a new Atlantis tank, and I was literally blown away by the sheer quality of the flavour and the vapour production is outstanding (for a clearomiser).

I'm still using my nautilus mini, everyday. it is still my go-to tank for when i'm out or at work. it's just easier that way. and the atlantis having the same capacity for e liquid and sub ohm coils, won't last me a whole day at work without having to refill.

Now I do also have a couple of RDA's but i don't usually leave the house with them. They are my comfy evening in, watching the tv and relaxing, dripping to my hearts content. And i do that because dripping gives me the best vaping experience possible for flavour and satisfaction. But it ain't practical, for me, to be dripping while walking down the high street.

So yeah, the nautilus, and even the atlantis, flavour-wise, just don't compare to drippers, but they do still have a definite purpose in my opinion.

One piece of advice perhaps tho. It is possible to rebuild the nautilus bvc coils. I have yet to try it myself, but i've seen it done on youtube. Rebuilding might get you a better vape experience.
hope this helps in any way lol :)

P.S also when i use my nautilus mini now, i have it set to the largest airflow, and it feels tight and restrictive now that i am more used to my rdas and my atlantis.
