The doctor states "there are other impurities in it, so you do get second hand or third hand smoke as they call it" Fails to describe the basic concept of vapor and not smoke, in fact he calls it "smoke". He has no proof or grounds for comparing the dissipation of vapor into the atmosphere to tobacco smoke and assumes it is identical to tobacco smoke, although they are different densities. In fact, he is supporting the notion that second hand vapor is safer than second hand tobacco smoke because the tar and carbon monoxide is what is most harmful in second hand tobacco smoke, not necessarily the nicotine. Third hand smoke has only been proven to exist with tobacco smoke, not vapor. So this is a completely unsubstantiated claim. He fails to state that PG and VG are GRAS. He fails to mention what the 'other impurities" are, what liquid was tested or if a test was even performed. By using the words "other impurities' he is suggesting that nicotine is an impurity and not medical grade nicotine. Even so, he makes no mention of 0mg nicotine liquids. In my opinion, he is clearly financially motivated to attach a negative connotation to vaping and is not genuinely interested in banning vaping because of public heath. Apart from that, it was cool to see someone vaping a provari and cartotank on the news!
