NC Vapor Noob

Hey everybody...
Ive been vaping for about 3 weeks now... I currently have a KR808 and I'm now at the point to where its not satifying me enough...Im feeling that it is great for the "social smoker"... I was a 3/4 1 pack a day....Marlboro Menthol Lights ...I just ordered/upgraded to a Ego Twist 1000mah battery and a innokin Iclear 16... and it should arrive in the mail tommorow ( i hope a clearomizer will perform/taste better than the 808 cartos...)

Im really enjoying the forum here and Im constantly reading to gain more insight into vaping... I live in rural NC, and around here, alot of folks dont understand it...

Any advice for this NC Noob? :p

Haven't been at this to terrible long myself but the best advice I can give is try out a few different delivery systems. I really enjoy all of the different types (vivi, cartomizer, rebuildable, etc.) but tend to favor rebuildables. You picked up the Ego twist which is a good step in my opinion. Easy way to start setting the voltage is to just add 2 to your ohms. So if you have the Iclear with a head around 1.8 ohms (not sure what they come stock with) start setting the voltage of the twist at 3.8ish (1.8+2) volts and adjust to taste.

Good luck and welcome

Also, don't look at the pictures of your set-ups thread or the apv section, your wallet will thank you :)

Hello & welcome! I second the suggestion by bfitz. It's mainly just trying things & seeing what you like. I went from clearos, to viva novas, to cartos & since February I've been using cartotanks. For me the viva novas did mute the flavor so if that's a concern I'd probably try something like a kanger protank. I'm not sure if it'll help much since I've never tried them personally but since the wicks are at the bottom they should be somewhat better. But that's apart of the fun & torture of vaping...trying new things until you find what you love! Good luck!

Im wanting to look into rebuildables...just dont have any good place to start.....Tryin to find the easier way to vape....Right now im kinda ticked because I believe my cart is going bad and I dont have any extras at the moment:mad:

Play with the twist for a bit before going to rebuildables. You may find that the twist is perfect for you and wont need anything else. But if you end up wanting to go the next step you will need to buy a Mod. Seems like everyone likes the Vamo so that might be the way to go. The RBA dripping rebuildables are a good place to start. I personally am using a Genesis atty and for now I am loving it.

I started with an eGo/iClear 16 setup as well...I LOVE the iClear 16! Discount Vapers sells them for only $4.99 so I have extras for switch flavors on the fly.

Do yourself a favor and order some extra coil heads as they are easy to replace and changing them every-so-often(depending on how much you vape) really keeps 'em tasting good.

You will lose a little flavor switching to a tank. But you may not notice it. I prefer more vapor so I got into rebuildables and am absolutely loving it. What part of NC you in? I lived in Hickory for about 4 years :)

^^^i agree there. i started with started off with an ego battery and an iclear 16 and moved on to attys and cartos and noticed out of the gate that the VTF went up the scale a few notches. im not saying clearos arent good, i still use mine, i currently have 3 in rotation. i would just say at some point u should get u a couple cartos and try them out

I spent a lot of time not far from E-town growing up. My grandmother and great grandparents lived just outside of Garland in Cypress Creek.
