Hi everybody
It's been months since I have been on here. I think it was late 2008 my last visit . where have all my old friends gone . Kate, Kit, Darcy, apo, the emp, leaford, ratindahat, tbob. just to name a few where have they gone to? .what's going on?.
These people were the bare bones of this forum and we all highly respected them for their reviews and hard work and made this place for what it is today.

This place has surely changed what's going on.

Ned Zeppelin veteran pro-vaper since 3 July 2008.:(:(:(

Hey Zep, it has changed! A lot of new folks here now , where you been?
I hope you have been keeping up with all the changes in e-cigs.
Mr.Darcy popped in a few days ago also!
Hi pt
I have been occasionally lurking in the background. but I don't like crowded airports and reading through the same questions after questions and seeing the same video reviews on the same products which were done 12 months ago especially when a lot of the answers are already here. I just wish some people would just take the time and look around as a lot of the answers are already here..
It is a shame . this forum was the place to be and it became very addictive and we all felt like this was our own little Internet family.
We all knew that this was going to get bigger with loads of new members which I have no problem with that at all it's just the way everything seems to be going and getting out of control.
I just hope forum can get itself back on track

Such a shame this is happening but there always has been special places for veterans.

Yes Ned - those were the days ...lol... (Hey, we're not that old! - well I'm still a youth as I only joined in Dec 2008).

But I always find it quite amusing when you have some new self-proclaimed expert that's only been a member for like 2 weeks....

Seriously though, the vibe of any scene gets spoilt when it becomes more populated and commercialised. But then it's more quality of lives improved, and hopefully good for business too.

We lose our souls when hard work has been done by dedicated, knowledgeable people, who worked to find knowledge where ever it was and bring it back here to share. And someone here says "Thanks!"
Build on History, and you will never lose your path to the Future. Today's path of knowledge looks more like a maze, because people ignore the Signposts, thinking that is progressive. In reality, it creates some Dead End streets. Why, it almost looks Federal! We just need a good City Map. And some good mass-transit.
Knowledge is Wealth

When something becomes more widespread, the appeal of being elitist is lost, and so people can feel quite dismayed. "Hey, I found it first!" or "What do you know, I am more experienced..." are some of the feelings that might transpire. That, and coupled by the fact that by definition the social network will be less intimate; it can be a let-down for some people.

So as the scene expands the network has seemed to fragment into (very loosely) a network of smaller groups.

But people should not forget that we, who use e-cigs, are still a tiny minority of the population. It is still relatively underground and unheard of. And people should never be denied that opportunity, which this forum enables, via communication across continents.

Also of course, we all have that one thing in common, a desire to not smoke tobacco while using an absolutely fantastic invention!
