Could someone kindly point me in the right direction on what pv's other than a 510 of course, that are compatible with 510 parts? I am still searching for an upgrade from the 510, and thought I may go this route. I know some of the ego's are 510 compatible, and then there was a Kr808 model i think it's called that you can by an adapter for. Is there anything else? Even with 510 adapters that I should consider?

I think almost everything is 510 compatible with an adapter? I am sure there are a few odd ones out there that aren't but not too many. What direction are you thinking or going? Tube mod, fat battery, box mox, analog type, variable voltage...? Maybe be a bit more specific and you will get some good suggestions about the best model (that is 510 compatible) for the style you are looking for.

I didn't even think of that Lelly, but now that u mention it, battery life has to last me a day, at the very least, analog type is my fave but am favorable to considerations, I am not a fan of the big mods at all, variable voltage to me would be a bonus! Size of the thing is important and I could possibly be ok with an ego sized model. I did try out my friend's ego over the weekend and it wasn't bad for size.

I am not willing to lose out on flavor. This is mostly why I have not gotten anything yet. The 510 has amazing flavor.

There is an Echo that is 510 compatible - usually labelled as such, or called the Echo-e. The cartos only hold ~2.5ml, as opposed to the 3-3.5ml the original (808 thread) hold.

Most mods are 510-threaded as well, from what I have seen. Is there something specific you're looking for?
I have had a few people tell me about the 808, thinking u are meaning the KR808? Anyways, if it is the size of a 510, and produces good flavor still and TH, I am so for it as long as it has 510 threading or can be modd'd with an adapter but still produces great flavor.

The Volt/Bloog is an 808 (KR808D-1 carto system) and the 66mm batts with cartos are about the same size as a similarly equipped 510. The cartos hold around 1ml. With 78mm batteries and moderate to heavy vaping, I regularly get 3 to 6 hours.

The eGo (510 threaded and manual, 650+mAh) can use the echo-e cartos. They're the horizontal bottom coil cartos similar to the Volt/Bloog and Go-Go but have 510 threading. Echo-e cartos hold just under 3mls. You can also purchase 510 LR attys and cartos for a bigger warmer hit (it's not suggested to use LR on anything less than a 450+mAh battery like a standard 510)

And here's the echo system (808 thread, auto, 1300mAh) with the same cartos as the echo-e.

The Volt is an excellent vape and the different types of 808 PCC's make charging, traveling, and vaping very easy. I never thought I could switch to an auto, cig sized PV, but my investment in a new system has been so rewarding.

Awesome list! Ok so I narrowed it down. Provari, Riva, and if I go with somthing that doesn't take 510 parts its the bloog. Should I start over and get bloog, or keep with my 510 parts and go provari or Riva. Then there is the volt I hear so much about, but I went to smokeless images website and it looks like they only sell carts for the volt. I can't find information on anything else regarding the volt other than its a kr808 product. So does that mean then it is not 510 compatible? Ugh this has become harder than I thought.

If the provari comes in pink, I am sold! I have no ego, just my pretty pink 510 I got from happy jack, he has awesome colors! I think that is what sold me on the 510 from the get go. I saw pink and no other ecig on his page had pink. So that is what I went with. But I have learned a great deal since then! So show me the pink models that go with the 510 parts!

"510 Compatible" can be deceptive. The compatibility part means that the connector threads on the atty, the battery and the charger are the same as with a 510. So all the parts will fit together. But usage compatibility is a different issue.

You'll generally not have a problem getting 510 atty's to work with any compatible model. The chargers can have issues though because of differences in voltage and mAh.

For example - you can use a 510 charger on most eGo's - and they will charge (though a bit slower) - but some of the larger mods - well, you could wait until your toes fall off and the battery will still be "charging" - though not gaining much for power.

It's a good idea to pick up a compatible charger if you're going for a mod - just to be sure you have something on hand to re-juice the battery. Then if the 510 charger works - you have an extra - and if it doesn't - you save yourself a bit of frustration.

Reverse compatibility (using the 510 battery with atty's and chargers from other models) should be checked on a model-by-model basis with the seller. Issues are not common - but they do exist.

Danes, if you're going VV, have you looked at the Buzz Pro? Manual control, no reading, however, it does come in "purple" and by the looks of the pics, close enough to pink. No?

If you're going with an eGo style, I'd recommend a noEgo or ePower. Similar style, but uses non-proprietary batteries so it'll be cheaper for you in the long run. As a plus, it'll hit at 3.7V vs a regulated 3.2 v off the eGo.

I would have never even known of this stuff Kat, and thanks for pointing all that out! I would like to happily report, I have a new mod! An omega, and it is beyond fantastic. I will be writing more about it soon, possibly a video review. Noizmaker actually went through everything with me, and sent me links to get some proper chargers for these 2 different sized batts I got for this, as it is variable voltage!! 3.7 and 6 volts. I even have a liquinator on the way, and some HV cartos's!!! Then happy jack is sending me the proper charger etc...omg..the world of mods..yup I am in LOVE!

I have never heard of the buzz pro either! But as you see, I did get an Omega. So no worries now on spending anymore money, other than the toys for this thing..I seriously can not wait for this liquinator to come. I got to custom build it with the colors I want, cool yellow swirly drip tip, some burnt orange O rings, fluerescent pink tank. And this liquinator holds 5ml of juice! I will totally take a pic when it's here. My omega is the nickle finish, so it's a silver, but with the liquinator, it will get that splash of color.

Once the HV carto's get here, thanks to Noiz, we were up all night scouring the net, in the states, looking for the toys for this thing..Yup he is the reason I am spending money the little stinker! hahahahaha..but he said he was really jealous, so for pay back for all that dough I put into this thing already, I will take pics of it so he can drool!!

I am so glad Kat posted though about alll this new info regarding charging 510 parts. Last night I was picking Noiz's brain on the voltage thing, cuz well, I already fried a boge carto on this thing, when I used it at 6v..OOpsadaisy! So now I know, only use the LR atties and regular atties on the 3.7V, and the liquinator, only use HV cartos at 6v,

Remind me to never put this liquinator on the 6v. OMG I would die if I wrecked it! I can't wait to try LR atties for the first time! Woot woot!

But let me make one thing clear, I will always always love my 510, and will still use it. It truly has done wonders for me, keeping me off the analogs. I seriously wouldn't be where I am today without my 510.

And today, a bit more money spent, but I ordered a pcc from the UK today for my mini tank system. Love that too! I am going to hopefully do some vid reviews now that Noiz got me the proper programs off the net and helped me get my webcam working on my computer. I have so many reviews to do now I will be in vid heaven!
