I used to drip when I had a dragon i think it was a 410 or 401 whatever it was (don't use it anymore). But I can't figure out how to drip with my 510 I have TRIED but I never can get it on the top of the bridge, normally next to it. I think I will have to get a drip tip, they do look pretty cool.

I would THINK that 50/50 would be the best to drip with since it's thicker but don't quote me on that.

I've heard awesome things about Ikenvapes LR 306 attys. They fit on the 510 and you can get a drip tip to fit it from Iken also. I just bought 2 306 attys from him and hopefully they will be in the mail. I do all VG and dripping has been fine for me. I'm using the CE2's right now and have no problems. I put a lot of flavor in my juices so they get thinned out a lil more so that may be a good thing too.

Did you order any of his new 510 dripper style cartos? I got my package Monday, but couldn't find my 808 to 510 adapters. Finally found them tonight, so I'm going to try one of the cartos tomorrow.

Okay guys, help me out here. I'm like Salem. I have a Buzz that I really like and a bunch of V4L 808 batteries. Dripping and atty's are a total mystery to me.

I understand the LR atty's won't work on what I have, but I don't know if that's right or not. I don't know what an Ohm is and how to figure out what the Ohm on something is. I do have a meter that I use to find the voltage I want on my Buzz but I don't think it shows Ohms ... but I could be wrong on that too.

I ordered a regular 510 atty with my last FSUSA order and I think I can use it with an 808 adapter. And I have the mouthpiece part that I got somewhere. I also have some drip tips that I got to try with some CE2's. So I think Ihave everything I need to try one and see if I like it.

Am I right and is there anything else I need to know?

Sorry to be such a dummy on all this, especially considering how long I've been vaping, but I just don't know much about it.

Don't feel bad T. I know nothing about attys or dripping either!

T- I use regular 510 attys with my Buzz at 4.5-4.7V no problem and I do drip. I use LR 510s with my Buzz but if I am using an LR I just don't go above 3.7V. no problems.

I have a friend that has a Buzz and vapes strictly at 5V and he uses a regular 510 atty no problem..

I use the drip tips because I get an easier draw but I still pop it off and drip directly onto the atty. I find that I get juice in my mouth if I drip through the tip and I do not like juice in the mouth. lol

I drip with 510s and I use a 3ml or 6ml dropper bottle so it is easy to hit the bridge. Do you use a small bottle to drip with? I am not sure that using a drip tip will ensure that you drip directly on the bridge. When I do end up hitting the area bext to the bridge I just let it sit a minute and it still works fine. See that's why I like cartos. Fill 'em and go.:)

+ everything that Salem said. I don't think it matters if you drip directly on the bridge. Three drops will cover everything. With the Penstyles you can get away with 5 or so.

TT, with a Variable Volt you don't need LRs because you can adjust it to whatever works best for you. The LRs still won't give you the same warm vapor that dialing it up will.

Oh, my Buzz is on its way back home:2cool:

Shoot I just threw away my candy apple sample bottle, guess I should have saved it. I have been trying to use the 5ml and about time I put the bottle tip near the hole I can't see down there lol What I have been doing though is not wiping the excess off of the cart tip and putting it over the atty like normal and kinda shaking it lol Seems to make the juice to go the atty. It works sometimes though lol

A drip tip may work for you then. I know plenty of folks that use and love them to actually drip through. lol

I have not driped either, but now I am interested in trying it. Are the drip tips on FSUSA site plastic or metal. I hear a lot about the metal tips are they better, or is it just a personal preference?
Also does dripping shorten or extend the life of an atty, or is it about the same. I have only lost one atty in about 2 and a half months.

Sorry for all the questions.

Just wanted to add that there are some DTs that allow the juice to go down better. My favorite tips, the Cherry Dream or Pawns are some of the worst for my thick, high VG to 100% VG juices but I love they way they feel and look. So when purchasing DTs ask someone/anyone their experience with a particular tip. I'm thinking about getting the Dremel to my Cherry Pawns for a slight modification.

But now that I have two bottom feeders, Reo GrandE and Mini, a Reo Woodie on its way, and a Phidias being born, probably the only time I'll be doing much dripping is trying out flavors.

Bottom Feeders Rule!

The drip tips, no matter how you are vaping, in my opinion, just feel nicer. As far as material. Using metal may take a bit of adjustment. Sometimes I like the metal, SS or Aluminum, and sometimes I like the Delrin or Cherry Pawn. But the most important thing to look for is how well they let the juice go into the atty.

Please don't drive and drip.

BTW.... I'm feeling crummy with a virus; otherwise I'd look up where my favorite tips came from.

Oh, and if the juice has not gathered at the top and closed off the hole a gentle blow down the tip will help move juice down. If a very thick juice gets stuck at the top I use an unfolded paper clip to open up the blockage.

I agree with Alice. Hope you get better soon.:) Having black delrins, clear frosted and stainless DT's to me, they are basically the same feel. I only use clear frosted with my 306 LRs because I like seeing the process. I would also be concerned that a delrin would melt with the 306.

The first batch of delrins weren't that good because they were narrow with an even narrower funnel in the middle. However the wide mouths work fine. The only time I notice juice not going all the way down is while chain vaping... okay I admit I only chain vape. Sometimes vapor will get trapped between the atty and juice. In those cases, just give the drip tip a quick blow before dripping.

I think I'm pretty well settled on my first plan of attack. I'm going to pick up a couple 2.5 Ohm atties, so I can use them on my eGo and my 5V (and my 3.7 mod when I get it). Once I get my SB, I'll try some real LR's (510 & 306).

Does anyone know what the Ohms are for this atty? I assume they're of the 3.0-3.2 Ohm variety.
