Thought about posting this in another forum, but then I figured you Nicoheads would be better suited to know what I'm searching for. I would like to find a RDA that will really enhance the flavor of all the great NT juices. Single coil, adjustable air flow would be a plus, but not 100% required.

The RDA would be used on a regulated device, so I won't be doing any sub-ohm builds. I usually use a lower voltage/watt setting, and a tighter air flow, seems like I get better flavor at these settings. I don't have anything against mechanical mods, it's just that I notice too much difference in taste between 4.1 and 3.7 or so volts.

Just a little background. Presently I am using a Protank2, nautilus, and kayfun (clone), with an occasional EVOD. The kayfun makes a noticeable (improvement) difference in the taste IMHO.

So, if any of you are using a dripper you really like please let me know...Mike

To be honest even with silica wicks before i went cotton my first set up on the patriot, dual coil @1.2 ohms had a very nice taste and reasonable hit to it, side by side comparison to my kayfun 3.1 with the same flavor loaded and the kayfun at 1.4 ohms they both performed great flavor wise. I have since went sub ohm but when I ran my one week side by side I was very impressed with the patriot for flavor against the 3.1, the nimbus and trident are decent flavor drippers as well but to tight of a draw to me amongst annoyances when I rebuild. personally I always recoment the patriot as a good level starting point for drippers since its so user friendly and performs nicely.

Would go Kayfun 3.1 for an RTA and if your hung up on drippers then I would just go with an IGO w-6. Can't go wrong with those.

I don't want to say that "the sky's the limit", but flavor is the #1 priority...

Mike, you just let the hounds loose...

Ha ha you know what's coming next! Take it away taki!

LOL actually in this case I'm going to have to recommend the Veritas. It can handle single or duel coil builds (horizontal or vertical builds), has a deep deep drip well, adjustable airflow and outstanding flavor. Little pricey at ~$125 but it is by far my favorite dripping atty. Also has a nearly no-leak design unless you really over fill it or turn it upside down.

Actually that was what I would guess you'd say...

For tanks I enjoyed the Rose v2, super flavorful, don't have to empty tank to change wicks or coils, and has a ceramic cup and juice flow adjuster, these things all made for one of the most flavorful tank set ups I've used. That being said the rose is not for the faint of heart, it can be a little tricky building on at first but the results were worth it.

Of course I don't use any tanks anymore once I switched to the reo, now tanks seem more painful. On the reo I use a cyclone and when I do dual coil builds or sub ohm singles I use the AFC cap, for singles over .9 ohm I use the standard cap with a drilled out air hole of 1/16 and a wide bore drip tip from avid vapor.

Another good recommendation - I like mine.

I knew as soon as I hit "Post Reply" that I had messed up....

Messed up? Naw, if you had said "I want a great vape and money is no issue." then you would have been in trouble. :D

Oh, not messed up...just spending a lot of money...

Personally I've only tried the Castle and love it but it too is pricy and hard to find. The Veritas sounds promising though...

In regards to flavor it beats everything else I own, even my RM2, Cyclone and Stillare. You really should get one, after all penguiness, Superman, DI, Dan Knight and I all own one (well DI has two) so we ALL can't be wrong

The magma is awesome from a friends that he let me test out.so that's the straight drip go to. For drip tanks. I'll stick with the kayfun or move back up to "the Russian "

Big second on the Magma. I own one and its one of my favorite drippers because it has the spinable ring that can make 3 different sized air holes for both single coil setup and dual coil setup. Its VERY nice.
