gotvapes has a couple tanks that use polypropylene or metal cant remember which ones off hand. the tanks that craze and get damaged usually have polycarbonate tanks.

polypropylene will crack/fog too, its more resistant to it, but the PH balance in the juices that cause the issues will still eventually destroy them. metal/glass is the ONLY option that will not eventually deteriorate.

have edited my post so as not to have a misleading question

Since the clearo's can be rebuilt now any chance to change the tank with the right size of pyrex tube?

Maybe we should get together and bug Phiniac to make a clearo. I bet they're losing business because of the Nova and I for one
would LOVE to have a Phiniac Nova!

Sounds like an excellent idea !! Any idea how to submit a new product request to their customer service?

they wouldn't do it, quite frankly.

they are a glass blowing company, not an electronics manufacture....as for the person who thinks they are losing money because of the vivi nova, no.

...too many people still like cartomizers (myself included) for them to stop making money because of one device....its like the discussion of provape losing money due to variable wattage mods being on the uprise....no, too many people believe they are too high quality to ignore....same goes for phiniac.

as for phiniac (or any other glass making outfit) making a tube for the nova...probably will not happen ever, because you would most definitely need some type of ENC machine to cut threads into glass , as it is next to impossible to do with a normal tap and dye due to the fact that glass likes to crack and shatter when you start applying tensile force...and quite frankly, an ENC machine's cost would probably offset any profits made for a good long while since they usually run in the thousands of dollars unless people were willing to pay upwards of 60 bucks for a glass vivi tube.....and i just don't see that working with the currently smallish community of vapers, especially since not EVERYONE uses the nova on an everyday basis.

that's a genny with a custom glass insert is all....genesis atomizers generally don't use threaded tanks, so it works for them....the vivi nova is a totally different ballgame.

Bet you could make a Delrin tank base that will seat to the bottom of the post (I found out the hard way, by dropping a Nova, that you can take the cylindrical piece off of the post) then make a pyrex tank that will take the post inside. Cu would have to buy a Nova but could then replace everything but the center post and its flat circular base.
