I put in an order for a Smoktech ACE, but I have never used a replaceable battery APV (just an MVP2, an istick and spinner batteries). I have no idea what I need battery-wise other than an 18650 size - I assume there are varying degrees within that size of quality and power?

I'm on a tight budget, so links to affordable solutions (this weekend's sales in particular) would help a lot! What do I need, and where should I get it? I assume I should get two batteries.

A well respected supplier would be Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor and they are running a sale. Any 20 amp rated 18650 will work well for the Smok Ace.

RTD carry a good range of high quality batteries at a fair price, any will work. Don't try to save one or two bucks on a battery that you will use for years, the cost of safety is actually rather small. Don't forget to get a good quality charger, again a long term investment.

I havn't heard anything on the Keeppowers, but would trust RTD to be carrying good quality stock, with accurate specifications. A single slot would work for a while, but if you're getting the mod bug, a dual will server your needs longer. After you have a couple, few 18650's and a charger, a new mod that uses them seems so much cheaper, easier to justify.....
