So, it's kind of a long story but Friday I received a mini nautilus to use with my iStick, BVC coils and some various juices including Bombies Bacco 'B 80VG/20PG and Alienvapors Boba's Bounty 100 % VG. When I filled up my mini nautilus with that bacco b, it was like vaping for the first time, smooth, thick vape with good throat hit and great taste... and the flavor was awesome. After 2 days of regular vaping the coil needed to be changed, (it was the one that came with it) unfortunately 2 more stand alone BVCs made a gross fume taste the 1st hour of vaping Bacco B which I attributed it it not wicking properly cause it was the juice was so thick (funny how I vaped 2 days fine off the coil that came with the tank...)

Today I added 5 drops of 40 % vodka to the 60 % full 30 ML of bacco b, i shook it to no end, I'm not really sure it thinned it out at all, it didn't seem like it through my initial testing in a shot glass. (how slowly it slid)

So two questions:

1. I would prefer to use distilled water to thin, what would be an ideal amount of drops in a 15 ML 100 VG % bottle of bobas bounty? The supplier told me it was pre steeped.

2. Someone online once told me there's a method to thin e-juice by submerging the bottles in hot water for X amount of time, if this is works, how should I do it?

Just trying to find a foolproof way of thinning the bobas bounty, as both bacco b and boba's bounty arent cheap juices.

Ok, completely legit questions. BUT! are you worried about your nicotine concentration? if not, you're golden with distilled water. if so, well...

1) requires some math. 15ml of 100% VG cut with ANYTHING is gonna be X% VG, Y% whatever. So, 15ml, cut to 50/50 will give you 30ml of 50% VG 50% whatever.
to get a 75% VG 25% whatever cut, you'd see that 15(.25)=3.75 that means you'd add 3,75 ml of whatever, get your 75/25 cut, and end up with 15ml+3.75ml=18.75ml total ejuice.
ok, wow, math. crazy. lets not do that anymore.

google "ejuice calculator" for MULTIPLE programs to do it for you.

if you're worried about your nic concentration, it's basically the same math. example- 24mg/ml in 15ml. cut 50/50 is 12mg/ml in 30ml.
or cut 75/25 is 24(.75)=18mg/ml in 18.75ml
if you want to keep the same nic concentration, you'll HAVE to use unflavored nic eliquid like MisterHolidayHouse said. otherwise, distilled water is fine. Start at LESS THAN 20% though!

2) yes, admittedly, warming eliquid will make it thinner, but only because it absorbs the energy from the hot water become less viscous. once it goes back to room temperature, it will be back to as thick as it was before. sorry : \

so, hope that helps. feel free to ask for clarification.

Before I started diy bobbas was my adv. I vaped 1000's of Ml's of that stuff in a mini nautilus at around 10 watts with no issue what so ever. Did you let the tank prime? Let it sit a bit? Maybe take cool hits between vape hits? Bobbas is truly an amazing experience so if hate to see you do anything to alter it at all when, imho, you probably shouldn't have too...

Either way, good luck

Aye, I'm going to test the thickness first, the Bacco B might have just been too thick for whatever reason, it literally took time to transfer to one end of the tank to another when flipped..... hopefully the Boba's isn't as thick
