I need advice and recommendations on a tank system that will fit 510 threads or is adaptable to them. I have been dripping with old fashioned 510's (Iess and less) or using a Kanger T2 clearo set up. Same for about 4 years now. I use them until they wear out and replace.

With pending regulations and the T2 being very hard to find these days, it is time I learned to be more independent. I know nothing about rebuilding and do not have a meter(yet). Cost and ease of use are factors as I will probably buy several. I currently use EGO style batteries with one basic 18650 device. I will have a VV mod option or two soon. Cloupor mini , Eleaf or Evic or combination.

My preference is 2.5-4 ml tank size, rebuildable but with a market for affordable, pre-made replacement heads/coils.
I don't care about cloud chasing or sub ohm. I know little about either.

I like flavor and a slightly warmer vape I get from the top coil T2 versus all of the newer bottom coil stuff. I change flavors 3-4 times a day and usually carry two devices. I have tried some of the newer gear but always come back to the Kanger T2 for the flavor, draw and temp. Portability may also be a factor, would be helpful if it traveled well.

I'd love to get some thoughts and recommendations on the best options for me.

Maybe a Subtank Mini. There are 1.2 ohm coil heads and a rebuildable deck.

I will second the Kanger Subtank Mini. Not only are they simple and effective but the coils are relatively cheap and widely available. They are available in different sizes like Nano, Mini and Plus. The Nano will be closer in size to what you are using now but they all take the same coils (Nano is to small for the rebuildable deck though).

If you're looking for a device and want a replaceable 18650 I would suggest an EVIC VTC Mini. It is very well made, tiny and more than enough power for a Subtank.

EVIC from china but ships from the US: Joyetech eVic VTC Mini Box Mod - $28.89
Subtank Nano from the same vendor: Kangertech Subtank Nano Pyrex Glass Cartomizer with OCC - 3ml - $16.92

Less than $50 for both.

I should add that this is also an option:Kangertech SUBVOD Kit - $24.99

Kayfun, Orchid, and Goblin Mini are the three RTAs I am rocking on a istick60tc.

The Kayfun is the easiest to wick and build on of the three if you have two good hands a d can trap leads under screw heads. It has no way to use pre made coils.

The Kanger is great, and I'd suggest the Zephyrus as well. I have never used the OCC's for it but people like them, they're relatively cheap, and like the subtank, it has a rebuilding option. unlike the subtank, though, it's a dual coil rebuildable deck. you can even buy premade coils for the rebuildable section and only have to wick them. v2 is coming out soon.

Just be aware that all these suggestions are going to have much more airflow then your currently used choices, that does include the Subtank mini. Subtank mini won't easily provide the same airflow you use now. If your OK with that then it is good to go.

That's why I recommended the Kayfun. Easy to build wick and the Lite+ is exclusively a MTL.
