first of all I hope this is the right place for this. I have a provari and I wanted vw. I was in love with the evic. I always knew it was fragile. a while ago it started to get condensation in the guts. as seen on the display. tonight it died. I cant go spending $$ on mods all the time but will once more. I use a nuutilus currently. I am not into rba's. for some reason the evic charge always lasted about four hours. the itaste vv lasts 2 days as does the provari. so I want a mech for the reliability. given what I have just said what do you all recommend? should I stay from china for reliability? and I need the battery to last a day of chain vaping. if not please recommend a reliable vw mod with replaceable battery that does not rattlesnake. please name models.

thank you.

I would recommend these- Nemesis, Chi You, Kamry K100, Caravela, M16

Nemesis, Chi You & Caravela come with different size tubes for batteries. The K100 and M16 are telescopic for different battery sizes.

For nemesis, chi you, and caravela the models made by Hcigar seem to be better quality.

Also you can buy an Evolve kick v1 "5-10 watt" now for $20 to make them variable wattage.

These are my preferences for great low cost mechs, hope this helps.

thank you. you guys are awesome! it is the middle of the night and I got replies. I really appreciate it. I will get to the store in the am with your suggestions. interestingly all my buddies have since gone to mechs. it is time I join! I think I will try without the kick first. since 3.7vx1.6 ohms is exactly what I use. I did not know clones were okay reliability either. I cannot afford a real one now anyways.

Keep in mind when using a mech your battery will start off at 4.2v and then the voltage will continuously drop threw out the use of that battery. For example I use mine from 4.2-3v then swap out battery. So if you like to vape at 3.7v 1.6ohms= 8.5watts. Using a mech will make your vape vary from 11-5.6 watts "4.2-3v" depending on when you swap batteries. That's the good thing about the kick, you can set it at your preferred wattage and it will keep it there the whole time no matter what ohm coil your firing and then let you know when your battery needs swapped when it get to low.

I haven't ordered mine yet, but then again I'm not to picky about being at a set power level. However I do prefer the taste at a certain level and that's the reason I'm getting one now lol

well I think I lucked out. my friend needed money and wanted to sell his gg for $350. I told him $250. we settled on $275. I figure this one will not break. if only I did not suck at rba. still, with the nautilus it seems better than the apv's so far. I am just afraid I hold the button too long and it explodes. I guess I will get over that. he gave me an unprotected battery and said it is fine with the nautilus. I hope so. I am kind of afraid of a battery vent but he said that is real unlikely with the nautilus.

Awesome! As for the battery there isn't anything to worry about as long as you stay within the amp rating of it. Only time there is a chance of a battery venting is if your using low sub ohm coils or have a constant short. IMR batteries are safer chemistry then li-po cause they don't violently vent. You should have nothing to worry about. Glad you found a mech and a nice one at that.
