Firstly, hello everybody! Hope everyone is doing well?

I got into E-Cigarettes around 6 months ago. I have been using a simple smoke-relief pack. Electronic Cigarettes | Electric Cigarette | E Cigarette | E Cig UK ! I am guessing these are not really considered to be any good, as I never see anyone in forums discussing them.

Now I want to move on to something that has a better hit, with more consistency and with stronger flavours! I have been eying up the ego-c for quite a while now, and am pretty much ready to jump right in and get one. First question I want to ask has to do with suppliers.

Totally Wicked offers an ego-c starter kit for £69.99. Which I thought was reasonable until I discovered the same kit (minus the 5 pre-filled cartridges) for £54.99 from cloud9vaping.

Joye eGo-C Starter Kit - Cloud 9 Vaping ----is the cloud 9 ego-c!

Tornado eGo-C E-Cig Full Kit in Black @Totally Wicked --- Is the totally wicked ego c!

Was firstly wondering whether their was any subtle differences between these two models, that a novice like me would not pick up on, which was causing this price difference? Or are they precisely the same?

Also is cloud9 a reputable vendor? Has anyone had experience with them in the past? And if so, are their e-liquids any good?

All help is appreciated.

One final comment, if people can think of a better kit/set-up for around £70 then I am all ears.

Thanks in advance!

Hello & welcome Austino :)

Cloud 9 are indeed a reputable vendor :)

However, IMHO you would do better not to go with the C type atomisers but go for an ego or Riva kit that comes with clearomisers or cartomisers. For instance these kits from these UK excellent vendors -

The VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid Use discount code allabout for 10% off

RIVA 1100 Deluxe Kits Use discount code AAEC for 10% off.

Or you could check out this list of other good UK e-cig & e-liquid vendors -

It's no trouble at all Austino :)

Firstly, I'll admit that I've never used the C type atomisers & tips, but I have heard of leaking & wicking issues. Secondly, clearomisers are very easy to fill & hold more juice & with some of them, you can just replace the heads for about £2.50 each :)

Most folks do prefer Clearomisers, I personally like Cartomisers even more as I prefer the draw on them. That's why the Vape Escape kit is a good one to go for as it comes with 5 cartomisers & a clearomiser so you can try both :)

Also the 2 Riva kits I linked to have 1100mAh batteries - the higher the mAh, the longer the battery lasts between charges.

I think either of those kits is great.
As far as the ego c atomiser and tank system, I prefer them to the clearomisers, i have got an evod, a nano vivi and a kanger T3 and I don't like any of those, just can't get the flavour for some reason. It's odd, because most people say they are better. It's great that we are all different!

I use the ecab, the eroll, and some old ego batteries that I have left from a previous try at vaping. All these use the tank/ego c atty system, and the atomisers are interchangeable between them, so that makes it simple for supplies. The ego c atties last 2 or three weeks, I don't clean them, just dry burn once or twice in that time. At about £3.50 each that makes for pretty cheap vaping! I don't get any issues with leaking, unlike previous attempts, I think the tanks are better designed now, maybe....

My favourite juice is from Totally Wicked, Patriot label strawberry or raspberry menthol, and now I reduce the menthol by diluting with straight raspberry or strawberry.

This system, no variable voltage, wattage etc, has enabled me to go from more than a pack a day to about three cigs a week, and to be honest I don't really need those....

What all this is meant to say is that the ego c system works for me, and probably others too, so hopefully it will suit you, if not I'm sure that it is a good starter to get to know how it all works.

I have decided that I am going to buy this kit, the offer is literally too good to refuse, and I have read promising reviews. Not saying that your advice was not good enough, just you have to check don't you?

Have you purchased e-liquid from either of those vendors? And if so is at good e-liquid?

Again, Thank you for all your help

Honestly, Austino, I think you're making a mistake. The eGo-C Starter Kit was my first upgrade. I ditched the tank system after a week and switched to cartomizers. The setup Chrissie recommended will be much better, in my opinion. Vape Escape is also a top notch vendor. Cloud 9 is actually one of my favourite vendors, but I've never tried their e-liquids. I don't deal with Totally Wicked. There's a bit of a back-story to that, but this is neither the time or the place.

I moved from the Apollo to an eGo-c Twist recently and couldn't be happier. I'm sure you'll feel the same.

ScubaZan, I agree that the ego-C twist is indeed an excellent device, however, it very different to the ego-c attie/tank system that the OP is buying.

Austino, it's up to you of course what you go for :) I was just trying to find you a cheaper (& better) alternative :) Same as jSquared, I also will no longer buy from Totally Wicked.

I actually meant I was going to by the system recommended by Chrissie. When I said 'I have decided that I am going to buy this kit, the offer is literally too good to refuse, and I have read promising reviews. Not saying that your advice was not good enough, just you have to check don't you?'! I was talking about this kit Chrissie had recommended! :)

Haha!

Glad we got that cleared up! Sorry I misread your post. Excellent choice, though - you won't be disappointed.

As for juices, Vape Escape stocks Decadent Vapours and HS Premium as well as their own lines. All really good stuff, but just bear in mind that taste is very subjective! I've never bought any juices from UK Ecig Cabin, so I can't really comment on those.

Austino, I also misunderstood you, sorry.

same as JJ, I've not bought any e-liquids from UK e-cig Cabin, but have bought several of the Grizwald juices from vape Escape & they are good - so maybe go for their samplers to begin with :)

As ohers have said the twist battery is good, but maybe get a Riva kit to begin with & you can then buy a Twist or Spinner battery at a later date - they are completely compatible with a Riva kit :)
