hello everyone !

i just built for the first time today , my ithaka.

i used silica wick and some NR - R - NR wire . but i dont seem finding the sweet Ωhm spot for this atty...

i dont wanna go subΩ simply because my Vamo v5 fires up attys having a resistance higher than 1.2Ω.

my question is , how do i measure Ω with this kind of setup ? (usually i use 0.28 mm / 31 gauge kanthal)

i either have loads of ohms and crazy readings (like changing each time i fire from 3.4 to 7.9 o_O) , or i go 1.0 / 0.9 ohms which just doesnt work on my mod !

any suggestions ?

also i'd love to get a kanthal/non resisting wire wielder , i'd just make one , but i cant find anyone selling one-use cameras to rip the flash module from it !!!

thanks in advance !
keep vaping ! :vapor:

Oh, be sure that your NR/R/NR wire assembly connections are snug and tight.

ok so ... i have an update ;)

i managed to salvage a used flash module from a photo camera ;) (YAY) and made up the wielder :D (tutorial incoming )

so once i connected the wires properly my ithaka came into life (IT'S ALIVE MWUAHAHA) im vaping on it right now and i am pretty surprised by the amount of flavour i get from this RTA :) so my problem is solved ... oh anyone can tell me where to post the tutorials on making the wire wielder >:)

Glad you got it right Shuin. (I wasn't intending to be rude or mean the other day, just sarcastic since the other forum wasn't good for getting answers to your issue)

My guess for right place for a home made welder would be Modding Forum but I'm not entirely sure. I'm sure if that's not right a moderator will move it to the right place. I'd be interested in seeing how to build a welder since I use nr-r-nr frequently and would rather not buy pre-made.
