About a month ago a picked up a Rocket rba (KFL Clone). Recently the threads on it are wearing out and it has a hard time staying on anything. I need a replacement. I have found that you guys are really good at finding good deals and usually can beat the deals i find. So im asking you, Know of any good KFL Clones that are decent priced and well made?

Check out fast tech. It may take 2 to 3 weeks to get it, but for the price you can't beat it. I have 2 original Russians and 1 original Kayfun but I recently ordered a couple of Kayfun clones from fasttech for backups. Go read the threads on fasttech. The quality is good. Read the reviews as well.

Focalecigs do a very good Kayfun 3.1ES for 23 dollars, the quality of it is astonishing, flawless rings, a clear section is included, it doesn't need de-oiling either and looks superb for the money, it is highly polished mind so it will show the finger marks.

I suggested this because you already have the Rocket which in itself is a Kayfun 3.1 version so you could use that for spares.

Unusual that the Rocket has failed threads as I have seen nothing but mainly good reviews for what is the cheap as chips Kayfun but there are duds in every batch I suppose and you got one :(

The EHPro kayfun lite clone is what I'm using, and I think it is great. You can pick it up on ebay for under $40.

Coincidentally, you can get your kanthal wire, and wicking material on ebay for very cheap as well :) Temco is the company I use, I used to order their kanthal wire from their website, but now I just use their ebay acct.

Cheap + you may = Fail

Just saying, I have 2 Rockets several months old and like Brand new.
If the threads are trashed, you are working them to tight and stretching/damaging.
Likely the same will happen with any other inexpensive piece you purchase. Only chance is to learn to not abuse.

Have one and two more on the way. Work great.
