It's so frustrating. I just got this rda and I've tried everything but it just keeps popping and spitting juice out no matter how much or how less cotton i put, i also adjusted the coils to the point where it's not so close to the center. I really have no clue what to do anymore. :l
What is the resistance of your coils and what is wattage set at? Also how long are you holding the fire button? Those suboxes take a second or two to really start firing.

Step back and take a deep breath...it's not rocket surgery :D
Do you have any other wire besides the Clapton wire? 26g is a good size for most builds.
I tried using the Tiger coil Kernel, 26GA. Still spits like crazy. I'm using the 510 adapter to use the standard 510 drip tip, still getting .... tons of juice. But yes, I've been dripping on the coils to get the cotton saturated i guess.

Next step is longer and maybe a bent drip tip. Also don't drip ON the coils. Could just be that clapton coil, at least, those coils are not going to work for you. Could try removing a wrap from each coil, might help.
Yes, I've been dripping on the coil. Does that actually affect? Because i saw videos where the youtubers also drips on coil... so I'm kinda lost. I can't figure out what exactly is the issue causing the spit

Sounds like he has a thicker gauge core that is taking its sweet time to heat up, and he's pulling on the mod before it gets up to temp
Resistance is 0.30 ohms. Been using around 40-60 watts but still spitting. Should i get a higher resistance coil? I'm not sure man. I don't even know what's the problem causing the spit. :l

He needs to be firing at fiddy watts or higher.
26g won't let ya down. My suggestion is: 26g 5 wraps on a 2.5mm screwdriver, should come out around .32-.36 should give ya plenty of flavor and vapor. It will heat up way faster than the claptons, reducing the spit back.

Are you able to build coils? Sounds like you're using pre built coils. No problem either way, as long as you're being safe, just need to know. If not, check out some build tutorials and buy some wire, kanthalkanthal or nichrome. You tube will show you some easy to follow build vids. Then, take @Kprthevapr s advice. You'll enjoy some 26 gauge @.35ish.

Nope. I'm very new to vaping. And there's no vendors locally for me as it's quite restrictive here, so i can't really get help anywhere except this forum. I'll try to get the .35ish 26 gauge, will update you all again. For now i can't vape cause it's very gross constantly having juice in my mouth

How high does your mod fire? Watts?

Between 7-60 watts. Kangertech Kbox mini platinum.
The weird thing is, I've not much idea about how the resistance affects the watts i should fire at. So in that case since my kbox can only fire till 60 watts, should i get a higher resistance coil or something?
After you check the screws, try it at 50w, hit the fire button and listen to see how long it takes to hear the sizzle, if it takes a while, ramp that :censored: up to 60 and see what she does. Don't forget to add juice before ya do it, don't wanna burn ya cotton :w00t:

I was thinking the same thing. He needs to pump some power into that, or those, coil(s)!

Hey man, I've tried tightening the screws, fired at 50-60, still spitting.
I was wondering if 0.3ohms require more power than 60 watts? If I change it to a .5 coil, will it be better?

Claptons are big juice sucking coils.. They do tend to need more power than you would need for a standard stranded wire coil. Part of the problem here is all we really KNOW about these coils is the ohm rate. In a regulate mod all that really tells us is how many amps you will draw from the battery at a given watts. What we really need to know is what are the wires used to make the coils. Without that basic info it's hard to say if .5 would be better or if .2ohm would be better. Try a .5 coil, IF it's made with different wire. If same wire, problem likely will worsen. I think you need a coil with less wire mass to it, regardless the OHM rate. .3 clapton, might work, if made with a core of smaller wire. It's not as simple as just changing the OHM rate.

Didn't you say in another post that those are 26/32 claptons? I see 6 wraps and it looks like at least 2.5 mm diameter. I really think you need more power. I have a similar build that I fire at 80W and there is still some ramp up time. Try maxing out the watts, closing off the airflow a bit, and don't suck so hard. You may want to wait a second or 2 after you hit the button before you start to puff on it to let the coils warm up a bit too. You should hear a sizzle before you start puffing on it. Remember that as you puff on it, the airflow across the coils will cool them slightly. If you don't have enough power to keep them hot, to much air can be a bad ting.
