Need atty help! Is it broke???

ok, I just received a new pv, a vGo, which has a 900 mAh battery. It came with 1 atty. and a pack of 5 pre-filled cartridges. I also purchased a 510 to 808 adapter so I could use my cartomizers, and I ordered some lr atty's.
When I put the atty that came with it on, with a cartridge, all is well.
Put the adapter on the battery, screw in a carto, everything is fine.
When I try to use an lr atty, well, nothing happens.
Is there something I don't know that I should be doing? These atties should work just like an non- lr, right?
Please help.

When I say nothing happens, well, NOTHING happens. The led lights up on my battery, but I get nothing. No pop, sizzle or otherwise.
Now I also tried to "direct drip", not sure if I am doing it right. I dripped right on to the bridge of the atty. Put a little cap over it that had a hole in it and tried that. Still nothing.
Any suggestions???? Also, is that the right way to direct drip?

Sounds, on the surface, like you just have a bad lr atty. If you have several attys that don't work, it could be that the center posts are too short and not making contact inside the connector to the battery. Sometimes you can wiggle them up a tiny bit and that'll fix them. If you have an ohmeter, you can check it that way too. Should read 1.8 to 2 ohms, I'm guessing.

No, no magic - should be just like regular 510 attys.
Have you tried all the LR attys?
If they are all doing the same thing, nothing, then I'd suggest the center post of the atty somehow isn't making good contact with the batt post.
Not sure how much wiggle room there really is on the center post of the 510 atty to try and get it to connect.

Yes, I have other lr atty's, so I tried one. Don't know why I didn't just do this before posting. Guess I was just kinda freakin out. Can't think when my mind is focused on something else..lol
And when I tried a different atty, worked just fine.
Well, better than fine, really. I love it!
This is exactly what I have been looking for. Nice th, plumes of vapor, and good flavor!!

Now, if someone would just answer me this. I am going to get a drip tip when I place my next order, but I'd like to try it out first. Can I just drip some juice right onto the bridge of the atty?

Sure can, the drip tip just makes it more convenient to do that.

...but watch out...the 510 tube can get really hot. (first and second lip experience )

Is there a certain amount I should drip. I don't want to flood it, as I have read about. 3 drops to much, not enough?

I get no sound from my attys sometimes...but I add more drops and then she fires right up... hth...
