Need coil build

I got some 30g kanthal. Looking for a low wattage build. Like 20w. Can anyone help me out.

Just googled the moonshot, I'm not familiar with it, so maybe someone else can chime in:

If I was stuck with 30g kanthal, I'd do a dual coil, 7 wraps with a 2 mm id. Should come out to around one ohm.

Duel claptons tight as hell to get in there 2.4ohm 60w. She don't like it. I think I need to give here a 12 nic she a heavy smoker but will have to bring down them watts for her. I got 22g Witch I'm useing for me a roll of Clapton and 30g. But there's a vape shop on corner got every gauge. Looking for a low watts build. So person can use a higher nic.

If there's a single coil option, my "goto" high nic build is 28g, 8 wraps, 2mm id. 1.4ish ohms.

Sweet spot (for me) is 15-20 watts. Airflow closed as much as possible.

Interesting because I wanted to give her a dual 28 wraps. They had 27 and 30g. I should of bought 27. Because this thirty is so dam springy almost impossible to work with. Takes a lot of work. Never again I buy thirty. Ima get 28 but open for more suggestions

I will try that 28 seems like all shops have 27 and 30. She still smoking cigs. 2 packs menthol. She owns the sig spark and moon shot. I'm not a coil. Master but my coils always are pretty nice and tight.

If you "preburn" the 30 (I use a lighter, just get it red hot) it takes some of the springyness out of it.

I'm not familiar with that tank, hopefully someone will come along that owns one. Good luck!

You could twist the 30 too, more surface area.

From my calculations 30g wire 2mm with 10 wraps you will get 2.2Ohms
same setup 3mm 7 wraps to get 2.2 Ohms
3 mm 8 wraps will get you 2.4 ohms
2 mm 11 wraps will get you 2.4 Ohms


I know its springy, but here is how I deal with it. I wrap it which ever way, insert it, heat it up, clamp it, pull out with inserted screwdriver so it wraps more tightly, then repeat above steps to get perfect coil. If while pulling on the coil the leads become longer I readjust. Hope this helps.
