Well, my I30b bit the dust today. It just keeps flooding and leaking no matter what. Changed out o-rings, cleaned it, brand new coil - Nothing. Oh well, rest in pieces. Anyway, I need to make a fast purchase tomorrow to keep myself from falling off the "quitting wagon"...I know how easy and cheap it is to buy a can of chew so I am not going to sit on this...Gotta keep the vaping going because I am doing so well!!

Anyway it comes down to these three tanks at a local shop. The K Protank II, Protank III, and the Kanger Aero. $13.99, $19.99, and $24.99 at the local store. I am not ordering because this is kind of an "emergency" purchase. Which one should I go for, and why? Best quality and flavor preferred, along with the least amount of tech issues. Keep in mind, my BIG payday is coming up in a week and a half - And I plan to buy an Aspire Nautilus. Whatever tank I buy tomorrow will be going on my MVP using a lot of 50/50 or heavier VG juices. It is going to be one of those, and when I grab the Aspire I will just use it as a backup or flavor changer.

Just need some quick advice

I would grab whatever is cheap and then order them online for better prices always good to have a couple tanks. I didn't have good luck with the protanks but good enough to use for awhile. The aerotank v2 starts good I currently use the kanger giant tank vapes like a beast! I keep my evod2 tanks for travel they come in multi colors. I like kanger as the dual coils work for a majority of there tanks. I use the evod2s, aerotank v2 and the giant tanks daily without issues changing coils ever other week or so.

I think the Protank 2 is a good choice. :thumb:

I've got four Protank 2's and two Mini Protank 2's, and that's all I have as far as tanks go. I use them daily and have literally had no serious issues with them in almost 5 months. I think most of the issues people have with the Protank 2 are user error, any of the problems I've encountered with them were easily fixable by doing a little maintenance (and sometimes just replacing the coil of course).

My aerotank stopped making a connection to the battery after a month and a half. No one could figure out what the issue was. I bought a new air control valve online for 3.99 with free 2 day shipping but also bought 2 protank 3's (11.99 each free 2 day shipping) and honestly I am enjoying the protanks better. Have had more issues with the aerotank flooding and gurgling than the protank.

It might be the pin in your battery. They can get pushed down. You can get a circuit board spacer from Mad Vapes that you put on the pin to raise it.

It was the bottom part of the aerotank , the control valve piece. I thought it was the battery so I decided to upgrade since I was getting into vaping more anyways. Got home with my new evic screwed in the aerotank and it said no atomizer. Got a new tank and it worked on my itaste and eVic. Just got a new air control valve in the mail today for the aerotank and it now works. My little brother had the same set up (aerotank and itaste vv) and his had the same issue , ended up being the tank and his went like 2 weeks after mine. We got it from the same shop weeks apart so I'm thinking maybe the shop got a bad batch I'm not sure. It was quite the coincidence.

Love my AeroTank mega but indeed to be honest it is prone to flooding/gurgling but for me it only seems to happen when it's too hot outside. For example, leaving the aerotank mega inside the car when I add a couple gallons of gas to the truck. So it's not like it's in the hot car for too long, but sure enough when getting back into the truck after just a few minutes and the aerotank mega will gurgle it's head off. I then put it in front of the A/C vent for a few moments to minutes and it stops. But I've yet to get it to flood or gurgle when using it indoors where it's normally cool inside.

If you're going to be using the tank where it may get hotter than normal indoor temps and it's your only tank then yeah... you may want to get something else. However, even with the temperature gurgling that mine does, it's still my favorite tank as it holds plenty of liquid (in the mega version) has some great flavor with the liquids that I use, and has the airy'ist draw out of all my tanks, including the Nautilus and the protank 2 with the addon adjustable air base. But it does flood when the temperatures heat up the liquid enough to thin it out. But it's probably the same thing that makes it so that it floods with higher than normal outdoor temps that also makes it so that I get lots of flavor using this tank and my preferred liquids too.
