Need help and ideas for a DNA 12 mod

Hello ECF modding forum. I've never been here and I'm sure you are all crazy scientist and fun to talk to.

So I have an idea. And I would like to make this box mod. I want to make a small, 18350 or maybe double 18350, dna 12, auto-switch box mod.

I found this. I'm looking at the dna 12 board and maybe I can fit 2 18350s in it idk. I have no experience with soldering or modding, I'm more of an art guy, paint and photoshop stuff, I made my signature for example.

I am just wondering what do I need? What do I need to know before I start buying stuff, and what are some good videos or threads for this kind of thing.

I would also like to add the reason why I'm interested in this small auto switch box. I don't like buttons. It breaks the clean look of a box. And I am going to paint the box custom with some acrylic paint and a paint brush. And the smaller the better, so since this will be a stay at home vape, I don't see a reason to make it bigger unless you guys can change my mind.

I would love to do this guys, and I would love even more to do a build log on this forum for you guys on this, please help me out guys, would love to do this.

Ive been looking this whole day at forums and can't find any solid threads or videos that go through doing a dna 12 mod or really any mod tbh. I just really want to jump on this but don't have any confidence. I'll only bump this once, just hoping someones nice enough to give me some pointers
