I WANT a Provari, I don't NEED a Provari... Price is not an issue, but I am on the fence. I sit he vaping my Zmax and am very content but I keep thinking about the Provari and all the hype. I have read all the reviews and have seen all the videos... I have 2 eGo 650 mha, 2 ego Twists, a Vamo and a Zmax... I love them all for different reasons and if someone asked I could go into great length and detail... that is what I want... WHY should I buy a Provari? Is it THAT much better? I love the menu system on the Vamo... it the menu system on the Provari that great? Is it a game changer ( rhetorical question, I know about the menu system ). What I want to know about the Provari is WHY everyone says it is the best... don't tell me because it is made in the USA, don't tell me because it is built like a brick and has a great warranty... I feel like I want one because everyone has one and raves about them but WHY does everyone rave about them? I haven't seen a really great review that has pushed me over the edge... Your help please... I eagerly await your comments.

I love it for a lot of reasons you don't want to hear about. It's rugged and durable. I'm not a very dainty lady. I drop things. I accidentally throw things. I feel my way blindly in the dark and knock over everything in my way. The ProVari takes it and laughs. Satin silver finish? Absolutely flawless.

It's accurate and dependable. Don't believe me? Here's an example: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/377905-never-would-have-believed.html

I can put my RBAs on it without fear. It will immediately tell me if something is wrong. (It doesn't, like, alarm or anything, but if you check your atty ohms, you'll be able to tell somethings up -- i.e. ohms jumping all over the place or something)

It's guaranteed. Something messes up with it? ProVape will fix it. Something new comes out? ProVape will upgrade it. Send it back, get it back. It's not disposable. Forget diamonds, a ProVari is forever. (hahahah, I crack myself up)

All in all, it's safe, it's trusted, and there are hundreds of people here who will tell you the same thing. If you have the money, why not?

Is it the last PV I will ever buy? Nah. I ordered a VW unit over the weekend. Now I'll have VV, VW, and Mech. And no more need for something different.

But I love my ProVari.

I can't say it any better than Adeline did. :thumb:

I did a LOT of research before deciding on what the best variable voltage mod to purchase would be. It didn't take much to discover which one it is.

Ahhh, I can still remember opening the bubble wrap and seeing my new satin blue Provari. And holding it in my hands for the first time is a moment I likely shall always remember. It literally reeks in quality.

Someone PMed me because they dropped their ZMax and I am giving them advice because it died on them after one small fall. I drop my ProVari all the time and instead of breaking, I have chipped a few tiles.

I have not used anything more consistent. I was on the fence, but I got some christmas money and decided it was worth a try, and worst case I could resell it. Now I am looking at buying #2 or a mechanical mod to have on the side.

My ProVari is my sidekick.

I've killed a lava tube, a VAMO in no time flat (lava tube in 35 days and VAMO less than a week).... Warranty on them... NONE.

My Provari has 1 year warranty and haven't had a hiccup out of it EVER... There is your answer.

Currently testing a sigelei Zmax and like it, but my Provari..... it just works and works perfectly.

I'll buy one when they make vv and vw that's what I'm waiting for. I have read a lot about it ;seen a lot of reviews and I want one but I'm going to wait

I wouldnt be so quick to hop on the VW bandwagon unless its something you need. By that I mean do you use a bunch of different resistances on your atomizers or switch juice delivery systems from a clearomizer to a carto to an RBA? Are you still trying to fine tune your builds and settle on a favorite resistance on that RBA?

If not you may not even need it. People talk a lot about Watts lately but until a couple of weeks ago I didnt even know what wattage I vaped at.

I vape at 4.2 volts on all my juices, occasionally bumping them up .2 or so (if im drinking or stressed).I also use the same juice delivery system and the same resistance carto for all of them because it works extremely well.

Just about every VW device out there offers VV for a reason and thats because VV is more accurate. Watts will get you in range but for fine tuning you'll need to jump to VV.

Bottom line is your choice of setups is only as complicated as you make it and each one has its pluses and minuses.Figuring that out is half the struggle.

Both my Vamos are still under warranty. I always buy from vendors with warranties. Excerpt one mechanical maybe - I think that had a short warranty.

Well this is youre second post like this - so if you want one buy one. Its not up to anyone else really.
You'll see all sorts of comments dissing what you have to try and make you buy something you admittedly don't need.

Variable wattage is for all sorts of vapers - and thousands of variable wattage devices have been sold. They have vv not because its better but because they give people another option if they want it. You have both, so can use both, and if you like vv and want to buy another mod then get one. A provari won't change your life, but if it fulfills some other need you have its your bank balance at the end of the day.

I'm a lot like Zapped. I'm an experienced enough vapor that I already know what I like. I've chosen a proven, durable, and consistant variable voltage device (Provari) and a single resistance rating of 2.5 - 3.0 ohm for my delivery devices which allows me a full range of voltages from 3.5 volts to 5 volts, which is plenty for my different flavors of juices. I don't need variable watts.

I've just started to get into the RBA's. But even with having that, I don't see how variable watts would benefit me that much.

I saw a number of posts today of people admitting that they rarely use the v. wattage on their mods, and found v. voltage to be easier to use. I found that to be interesting, because I thought the idea behind using v. wattage was to make vaping easier.

Since the OP already uses vw the point is a bit irrelevant though.

If you want it and can afford it then buy it. It has stood the test of time for so many of us. If one of your other 2 mods breaks in 6 months what will you do? My guess is scrap it. If your Provari would happen to break 2 years from now you will send it to Provape and they will fix you right up. That is why the Provari. Provape has a protacall for how they handle things. That means so much to so many people because they know exactly what to expect if something goes wrong with their mod. Have you read some of the stories about Provari's getting dropped in water and people rinsing them in alcolol, waiting overnight and then vaping them just like new the next day. How many electronic mods can survive being dropped in water? I know all of this about the Provari and water because I emailed Provape about what the most expensive repair could be before using mine in the pool. They emailed me back within the hour telling me that my Provari would likely survive being dropped in my pool minus the battery but I the maximum repair was 65.00 I think. I will never use another mod again.
