NEED HELP , EGO shorted

As mentioned above, my ego looks like it has been shorted.

It lights up automatically and offs when i screw in my atomiser, however it states battery low, but when i connect it to my charger, it claims to be fully charged. How do i solve this

Really need urgent help as i cant seem to find the area to pry it open, and its really hard to get ecigs in my country.

Its not a stuck button, it lights up even when its not pressed.

I was more focused on your "i cant seem to find the area to pry it open" ... hence the video. Something in the circuit board is likely keeping the switch open. What exactly is hard to say.

tbh when a battery does this, i expect it to be fully broke.


BUT every single time i have had this happen, i remove the ego connection then disconnect and reconnect the red wire thats attached to the possitve center pin of the 510 connection, and it works like normal again. 9 batteries fixed this way, only 2 went bonkers after it was fixed and worked fine for a few puffs

How do you get the connection off?

in a very -un smart/techinical - way, i CUT the red wire as close as i can to its solder point on the CENTER PIN of the 510/ego connector. then strip a VERY SMALL section of the wire. pull out the 510 centerpin, and place the wire between the centrepin, and the rubber grommet. the second that power is back to the battery, it should blink a few times and then stop - acting normal. just made a video on how to "fix" the egoR 2200's, maybe the next time i get a chance, il make a video for this too.


going to make a "ghetto" video later on, it technicaly wont be a full ego battery, but it will be the same concept of what im trying to explain

well. im seeming to have an issue with finding my camera... all the items for the video have ben sitting in a pile for over a day as i try to find it....
