Hello,

I am 22 years old and have been smoking since i was 15. I smoke 1.5 packs a day of regular cigs. I have been weightlifting for years now and I appear to be in great shape but I am far from it. I have no endurance, I am winded very quickly and I have tried quitting but I can't.

Basically I came here for advice. I just spent 3 hours searching the web and looking at tons of reviews and it appears that everything I look at is posted by someone trying to push the product. The ones that appear to look legit have a million comments underneath saying they are bad products.

I think I want an E-Go e-cig bc from what I have read the battery lasts a while and they are strong.

Essentially I want something that will last long(I dont have to charge it or do a lot of maintenance to it) and is strong. I couldn't even find a site to buy from that seemed reputable and didn't make me suspicious.

If somebody can point me toward a good starting E-Cig kit that is overall a good product.

Thank you for any help!

ANY e-cigarette you buy is going to need to be recharged. What you get will dictate how often you need to charge it. A lot of folks start off with the eGo style batteries (I did, too). There are tons of reputable suppliers on ECF. They can be found here E Cigarette Suppliers Forum and here Forum Suppliers

For what it's worth, I started with the Halo G6, and then ordered the Halo Triton tank within two weeks. I should have skipped the G6, but I didn't know. I found it to be a good product at a reasonable price, and they have good e-juice also. Midnight Apple is one of my favorites, I vape it every day, not exclusively, but at least sometime in the day.

Here is a complete kit. The EVOD tanks are good. I still use mine. This kit has all you need except juice.

Kanger eVod Kit - Stainless

You may find the same kit cheaper if you search around.
With juice, considering your smoking habit, I would get an 18mg sample pack of 50vg/50pg.
Look at the front page of the forum and scroll all the way down. There are several vendors there. They have subforums and links to their websites. (or you can follow retired1's links :p )

The ego set ups are nice for beginners, but for you, since you are young and I'll bet you are going to love vaping.....I would suggest going right to the MVP 2. It is a sturdy device, performs very well, and is highly recommended by lots of people on this forum, including myself.

The great thing about the MVP 2, vs. the ego style batteries, is that you can use it for a couple of days before needing to charge it. Also, it has variable voltage/watts, which is also a very nice feature. It usually comes with an iClear 30 tank, but you can use a lot of different tanks with it, so you have lots of choices.

Here is a link to check it out. Oh wow, looks like it is on sale for only $30 and that's a steal. Better hurry!

When did you notice you were getting winded very quickly?
Sounds like you have respiratory problems that need to be checked by a doctor.

You guys call regular cigs, analogs? <---random question

Thanks for all the help guys! I should have came to this forum 3 hours ago lol. I think I'm gonna buy the Kanger eVod kit. So db13berry you said it does not include juices. I am on the website you linked(discount vapers) and I can't seem to find where the juices are sold.

I would prefer to just order it all at once.

I don't think Discount Vapers does ejuice. But there are even MORE ejuice suppliers to choose from. Mt Baker Vapor is a popular one, and Fuzion Vapor has some rather tasty choices as well.

Yeah. What retired1 said.
One problem with vaping is you cant hardly buy hardware and juice at the same place and get both at a decent price/quality.
I would second Mt Baker Vapor or Killer Juice for juice. Both have good eliquid and wont break your bank in the search for a flavor you like.

Personally I do not like the word analogs. I call a cigarette what it is....a cigarette. But analog is used around here a lot.

The MVP 2 looks bulky? I am on the go a lot and I think I want something isnt so big. Can the E-GO cigs fit in your pocket? they appear small enough in the pictures that they can fit in my pocket.

I noticed it maybe starting a year ago. I'm not really bad but when i play basketball I am definitely the first one who gets winded and when i lift intensely i breath heavy. I dont really get winded from a short jog or anything. But I am young and active so compared to all my non smoking friends I lack endurance.

Ego's are great most people seem to start on them. I did, but it didn't take long till I wanted more. my suggestion would be to at least get an I taste VV 3.
http://ivape.net/index.php/iTaste-VV-3.0-Variable-Wattage-Device-Black.html
I purchased my SVD here.
Or better yet I now have a Vamo V3 and love it. I also have an I taste SVD Both are reliable and produce a great vaping experience. here is a link to one of the sites that I use frequently for hardware.
eGo APV V2 -Variable Wattage Mod

All of the E vendors that I use are registered suppliers on this forum. I can tell you that no matter what you look at or get there are enough people on here that you are going to get good and bad opinions. If you want some generally reliable info go to utube and search for ecig reviews. There are several guys that do a lot of them. Pete Pbusardo (I thing I screwed up the last name) but take a look for what ever model you have interest in and there will be some reviews on it. When it comes to e liquid there are sites that have brand names that are quite pricey and a ton of sites that make their own and are good. My favorite is Lucky 7 the product is good and the price is incredible. Good luck

The 1100 mah battery I linked is a bit long but not bulky. The lower mah batteries like the 900 or 650 are shorter but wont last as long on a single charge. I gave you the 1100 because you said you want some longevity in battery life.

The 1100 will fit in your pocket but will stick out a bit. Make sure you 5 click the button to turn it off before you put it in your pocket though so the button doesnt get pressed accidentally.

The MVP is like the size of a HUGE pack of Big Red gum. Maybe a little taller. I have one, but I wouldnt want to start out with one just because of the shape.

Edited because my laptop has a terrible lag.....GRRR!
